Scam (paid triple the price)

Scam. You think you get a cheap deal but I ended up paying triple. I booked via do you Spain for the agreed only piece. Once at the shop, the K10 company wouldn't take the same card and forced me into paying the triple amount of the cars agreed rental otherwise I would just loose my reservation (an no money back)

Very disappointing experience with K10…

Very disappointing experience with K10 Rental Car in Ibiza.

We rented a very basic car but ended up paying a lot more than expected due to multiple extra charges, including an additional driver and mandatory full insurance.

At no point were we informed about any cleaning requirements. This was a beach holiday, and naturally there was some sand in the car — something completely normal in Ibiza.

When we picked up the car, we were told it had to be returned with a full tank of petrol. However, the car was not actually provided with a full tank. This creates an unfair situation where customers can easily be overcharged if they are not paying close attention.

When we returned the car, the staff clearly told us everything was OK. No issues were raised.

However, after we had already flown back to England, we received a message claiming the car was “too dirty” and attempting to charge an extra €100.

This feels extremely unfair and dishonest. If there was an issue, it should have been addressed at the time of return — not afterwards when customers are no longer present to challenge it.

We have rented cars for years in many countries and have never experienced anything like this.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

I would not recommend this company. Be very careful with hidden fees and unexpected charges.

Downright theft

If you don’t take their insurance they will go to great lengths to overcharge unreasonably. They charged me €288 per hubcap for two hubcaps on a fiat panda for scratches on them. A new hubcap costs about €50 euros. They don’t have evidence that these scratches weren’t there and say it was my responsibility to prove they were. This isn’t unstated in the law or in their contract. By chance I had a photo of the car with one wheel in sight which proved there were scratches on the one which proves their ‘damage report’ was incorrect.

RUDE ,RIP OFF, AVOID UNLESS YOU TAKE OUT THERE FULL INSURANCE

Collection for car was great ,pickup in 10 mins from Ibiza airport ,polite gentlemen at reception.Great price 95 euros for 5 days ,i had a annual excess policy for insurance so declined there one.When you sign for car condition and the agreement it showed 12 black spots for damage ,fuel was full on collection,we took pictures of the car all good .Returning the vechicle ruined our first visit to Ibiza very rude female assistant ,the manager would not deal with my issues and walked away,she found the smallest mark on rear door where rhere was allready 3 spots of damage,told me i should have taken out there insurance and i would loose my 1300 euros deposit for damage ,i was asked to produce pictures of this damage i argued that she walks round car and show me the marks i signed for not interested.my wife was getting upset having sat in bus waiting to be dropped of back at airport,at one point she locked me in there office complete joke.
to add further insult car return report that i have states that fuel returnd full 8,but they have also charged me 6 x12.74 for fuel on invoice,complete ripoff never use them again

Mixed Experience – Good Check-In but Poor Shuttle Service and Car Performance

• Easy and relatively fast check-in process
• Car was clean inside and outside
• Quick and hassle-free return process
❌ Cons
• Difficult to find the rental location (no airport signs)
• Poorly organized shuttle service with unclear pick-up area
• Long waiting times (both arrival and return shuttles)
• Unhelpful driver when concerns were raised
• Low-quality vehicle performance (underpowered, starting issue)
• Windshield washer fluid not refilled
• High fuel consumption

Review:
The rental location was not easy to find, as there were no clear signs at the airport. Once located, we had to wait around 20 minutes in the car park under a roof. When the shuttle finally arrived, it stopped on the opposite side where people who arrived later rushed to board first. There were no signs indicating where the shuttle would stop, so those who had used the service before took advantage. When I mentioned this to the driver, he said he couldn’t do much about it.

The check-in process was straightforward and fairly quick. We were given a Chinese MG SUV, and although I asked for a non-Chinese vehicle due to past bad experiences, there were no alternatives available in the same category. The car itself was below average—struggling to maintain speed on moderate inclines and even failed to start once (though it eventually did after about 10 minutes).

The car was clean both inside and out, but the windscreen washer fluid was empty after the second use. Fuel consumption was quite high for the size of the engine. Returning the car was simple and quick, and the staff didn’t spend excessive time inspecting for damages. However, we again had to wait about 20 minutes for a shuttle back to the airport due to limited space.

Pricey but worth it as staff , picking / dropping off car was easy and the actual vehicle was in great condition - easy process

Pricey but we bought an exclusive car / 4x4 vehicle for our wedding celebrations . The jeep wrangler Sahara was epic , spacious , could easily fit 5 people and luggage ( 3 big cases and some small bags ) , great on fuel and air con was great. Really enjoyed driving it . Checking in and out was easy with dropping the car off very fast and easy. We were late by 1h 20mins due to issues with another car rental company and k10 waived our late back fee and 100% understood why we were late . There was a €200 safety deposit payment required on top of our payment for the actual vehicle .no issues and will 100% use again .

“I rented a car with full coverage insurance, and after an accident, they charged my card —which I had only provided for fuel— without consulting me or having a damage assessor inspect the car. They didn’t even ask if I was okay. Their low prices may seem like a bargain, but poor management and lack of transparency can cost you a lot more than money: headaches, stress, and frustration. Think twice before renting here.

I'd like to give this company 0 Stars.. The demanded an extra €300 for added insurance and extra €50 for my 2 hour plane delay.. I had already paid for the extra coverage via carrentals.co.uk but they wouldn't accept that and told me is was void..

One star is even too much

One star is even too much. This is the most unfriendly and criminal company ar the airport. One transfer bus only picking up de driver,( even not a co-driver). 2 hours to get the car while waiting outside in the hot sun. Bringing back the car one hour too late and charging you 60 euros. Don't book here! Sunny cars should also shame their self to get in business with this lousy ' company '

Never again with K10

Unfortunately i cannot recommend this company. The same happened to us: cheap rental fee through ryainar, we bought the full coverage insurance with the reservation. At the arrival K10 rental indicated that it will not provide the same coverage as the insurance they wanted you to buy.
During our 3 days rental period, no damage happend to the car.
By returning they indicated a minor scratch on the rear view mirror that we would have to pay for. Of course we disputed it and it turned out we were right because it was dirt and not a scratch. AT this point I then asked for a declaration that the car was received in perfect condition. I was told that there was no such thing, and scornfully told to contact customer services.
2 days later they sent us a report with 3 other faults (bumper, chassis and rim) and charged 290 euro to our credit card.
outrageous!
The "rentalcover" insurance covered it, so no damage for us, but the service of K10 is outrageous! I would not recommend it to anyone!

Terrible collection process

Collection process: this was a nightmare. We collected from Ibiza airport, and there was a queue that lasted an hour. When it came our turn, it took them nearly 40 minutes to complete the paperwork, and despite the long wait time (plus a still-long queue behind us), they were intent on upselling a bigger model, extra insurance and so on, which took another 10 minutes at least. We tried to help by scanning their online checking QR code on the door but it didn't work.

Return: return was thankfully much easier and took 10 minutes (only one car ahead of us).

Nervous after reviews but all OK

After reading all the negative reviews, I was very nervous about renting from K10 but they were fine. Worst thing was waiting ages for the shuttle which became a scrum when it arrived. My advice would be to walk to their office or jump in a taxi as it's very close to the airport. I booked a VW Up but they don't have any and was offered a Panda or could upgrade. Told them I'd take the Panda and they said it was dirty - I said I don't mind. Lady then came back with keys for a bigger SEAT which I could have for no extra, or an automatic Peugeot for 3 Euros a day. I took the Peugeot and it was perfect. I also took out their insurance to avoid leaving 1000 Euros on my credit card. For some reason this was a lot cheaper than it said on their website. Returning the car was fast and easy.

Extremely poor collection service

Extremely poor collection service. We had to wait outside in the yard for an hour to pick up the car as there were only 2 staff serving and a long queue of people (and many more arrived after us so they will have waited even longer). They must know how many bookings they have, so this must be normal for them. The guy who served us was more interested in getting himself a good review than serving people well and efficiently, and was in fact rude and passive aggressive.
The car was pretty badly damaged and scratched - much more than the booking document showed. I asked for a different car but was refused and told to take a video before I left.
The car worked perfectly well and we enjoyed having it, but I was anxious about what would happen when we returned it, so arrived back earlier than the return time in case there were any problems (and we were heading for a flight).
Return service was easy and quick, the woman was lovely.

Lazy personnel, imposing scam insurance! STAY AWAY!

The signs to reach the shuttle were not clear causing a loss of time. In the office there were 3 employees but only one was working even thouugh there were people waiting. THEY IMPOSED AN EXTRA EXCESS COVERAGE, CAUSING ME TO PAY 3 TIMES THE PRICE I HAD RESERVED FOR, PLUS WASTING THE COST OF THE EXCESS INSURANCE I HAD BOUGHT FROM ANOTHER PARTY. SHAME ON YOU.
