Dewside Lifelabs Worst

The Dewside Lifelabs are the worst. I don't even feel like giving them a one star. The staff is extremely rude and loud, especially the main person. I had just gone to drop my fecal test envelop. Not seeing anyone at the front desk for some time, I stepped a few steps up from the stop sigh to ask if someone was there.
The main person at the front desk came from inside to give me a lecture about the STOP sigh. Instead of wasting my and the other peoples' time, she has the time to be policeing others.
If they are a little more efficient they need to just leave a tray on the side to say: Drop Fecal Test Envelop Here.
Before hiring any staff, a customer service course must be mandatory.

Satified clients

My husband and I have been using Lifelabs at 701 Sheppard Ave East, Toronto, for many years now. We always make an appointment and have never waited more than 10 minutes. Staff are always pleasant and Ruby keeps the clinic running very efficiently. We have no complaints!

Lab wouldn’t send results to requesting doctor

Doctor gave me a requisition for bloodwork and I went to LifeLabs as their results portal is good. They messed up having me pay for some tests and had to throw out my samples and I had to return two days later. Mistakes happen and I was fine with that. I was not fine with the results not being sent to my doctor and having to fight with LifeLabs and the requesting doctor having to have a release form sent to them to sign to request the results. It’s now taken weeks for results that should have been available after one week.

Poor customer service.

I couldn’t get out of the LifeLabs on Southdown Rd in Mississauga fast enough today. I was seen only 15 minutes late for my appointment which isn't too bad. However I don’t think the staff have ever received any customer service training. I realize they are very busy but the technician who took my blood today didn’t say hello after I said hello to her, her answers were quite terse, and there was no eye contact. She got testy with me when I couldn’t understand the poor English she was muttering through a mask. The rest of the staff looked quite unfriendly. Not one smile. The morale must be low. I won’t go back.

Excellent service, kind staff.

I have booked online for the past several appointments ( 2 Champagne Drive). I was always seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. At my last appointment, the waiting room was full and yet the phlebotomist (Vangie) was not rushed. She was professional and kind as were the others I have seen.
The online booking process was very easy.

Worst location and very rude staff

Waited for 3 hours but still wasn't able to make it. Very rude staff and don't care about the patients. Sick people come to have get some tests but they don't have any regard of a sick person. Don't even know how to talk, this location must be closed or management needs to be changed.

There should be a ZERO rating

If there was a ZERO, I would use it.
What is the point of having an appointment if it means NOTHING?
I had an appointment yesterday and had to wait as long as the "walk-ins". There are not enough seats and there was a lineup for the washroom.
If LifeLabs is not going to honour the appointment, or at least be close to it, then they should scrap the appointment system and just have walk-ins only.
I would never use this lab again.
The branch at 14785 Yonge St, Aurora is HORRIBLE and a waste of my time.

I would not give this lifelabs in…

I would not give this lifelabs in clarkson any stars infact the opposite ! I had a book appointment and came early to make sure that I was not late at 8.30 am in line. Then the receptionist went off and no one replaced her! So we all were left in line for over 30 minutes with no one to check us until 9.20 in as the ‘receptionist’ also went to draw blood !! So we were left with no one to take over this check in! When I explained that this was wrong and the system was not fair in leaving customers wait this long, I was told the staff have to multi task !!
This is down right ridiculous ! Why should a paying customer have this kind of service and why should we be paying for a service for the staff to multi task instead for a derive which we all came in for to draw blood !! Why should we be left waiting! Not only that but the wait time on top of this on checking the board it added to the wasted time at this location with 56 minutes minimum waiting time to be called in!!
The staff were not really upstanding or sympathetic to my concern and to those of others in the room .. it was basically an excuse that they have to multitask! This is not my problem but it’s the organization who should make sure that there are adequate number of staff everyday to meet the needs of drawing blood and not doing two jobs at the expense of paying customers !! People need to be aware that the wait times here are both unnecessary long and time wasting. I would avoid this location ! It has not changed and nor will it change its time policy of adequate time keeping .. you are just treated like cows in a herd with no respect that we have things to do other than sit in waiting rooms for over 2 hours and even 3 hours

The worst service ever

The worst service ever. The staff at 600 Sherbourn street Toronto, register patients, do administrative jobs like filling, and also blood work which makes patients wait more than 3 hours to have their blood drawn. My mother and I waited so long today that we both returned home sick. I am not sure whether the shortage of staff is to save money or just pure insanity and barbaric work environment. Whatever the reason I am not going back there for any blood test nor will I take my mom.

Honoring Specialist Lab Requisitions Instructions

On 8 October 2025, I went for a blood work based on my Specialist order request. My Specialist has written on the Lab Requisition that it should be copied to my family Doctor whose name was written clearly on the Lab Req. At LifeLab. located on 170 Queensway Mississauga, they asked me to provide the full address of my family doctor which I did. Upon reviewing my blood work results on line there was a note saying it has not been copied to my family doctor as it has not been uniquely identified. I phone Life lab, who responded that since my Specialist did not include my family doctor Billing Number and Fax number they will not honour his request to send a copy to my family doctor. I told them last month you sent a Lab result to my family doctor who requested a blood work on September 12 2025. They insisted that each request is separate and that my Family Doctor should request it in this case. I told them that since this is the procedure, I will tell my specialist to send a copy to my family doctor. The issue here is that there is a sudden change in Life lab procedure although Lab Requisitions has identified the requirements and/or patients signing an authorization for releasing information to other doctors

I took my child who is autistic for…

I took my child who is autistic for blood test at life lab ,lorraine avenue ,kitchener. The appointment for my son was at 12:10pm and we had to wait till 12:55pm and they took so long to complete the paper works . I had mentioned to them that my son might get aggressive and it would be hard to take the blood test . They still made us wait . If we are prebooking then what’s the use of making us wait even after appointment. The staffs were rude and was not accommodating child with a disability. That is not a fair approach. The reason we book appointment and arrive on that time is due to a reason . My son was crying so badly when the blood test was done due to long wait and anxiety .

Avoid 1333 Neilson Road toronto

had an appointment booked for 9:30 at 1333neilson road toronto. After waiting 25 minutes past schedule, eventually discovered that clerical staff assumed I was walk-in. Rude staff blamed me for not stating I had an appointment even though I heard everyone else was asked if they had an appointment. No sign stating you should advise of appointment. No apology. Very disorganized and not helpful. Avoid this location...and perhaps Lifelabs in general.
