As a new customer I was excited to try but... Ordered the £50 box and so far all seems very low quality and thinly cut. Sausages at 65%pork is really disappointing for a farm butcher. Dry ham is wafer thin and 6 slices and under the weight it was sold at online. Such a shame but won't be returning if they are servicing up low grade crap to their customers

My daughter got married a couple of weeks ago and we used Llwchwedd for cold cuts and pork pies on the Friday evening. Bacon for breakfasts. Pork shoulders for pulled pork late night Saturday and sausages and burgers for a BBQ on the Sunday. All of these were excellent quality and good prices. They even delivered on the Friday for us. Every product order was under the printed weight, The first order was for 10kg for chicken breast (sold as 5kg weight) received 1/2kg short. It arrived in two vac pack bags, both with a printed wight less than 2.5kg.
I complained as after finally getting a response was offered as £15 voucher and the remaining 1/2kg (but i would need to make a further purchase to claim this.
I placed my 2nd order and again every thing was under the printed weight. 5 bags of chicken breast (5kg chicken and my 1/2kg) every one was under 2.5kg and every one less than the printed weight. i also order 2 lots of rump lamb, again both it was under the advertised weight and less than the printed weigh. i did not physical check the actually weights in the first order. but used 2 different scales on second order to check my measurements.
i was told if (copied from email) "We are looking into why and how these products have gone out incorrectly. This issue should have never happened. All items are scanned in dispatch for each order and can't be completed if underweight."
this statement is totally incorrect. 9 parcels all wrong (7 confirmed weights).
also they listed the lamb as 1/2 price from £20.00 to £12.00 even with my basic maths i can calculate that is nit 1/2 price.
i have reported to Trading Standards for missing selling, weights and measurement and false advertising. Both orders totalled £180. if they are shorting every item and every customer that's a lot of extra profit in their pocket and a lot less on your plate

First order was incorrect, simple email rectified it within 24 hours. Since then i have made 3 orders over 6 months of more than £100 each, all spot on. Best all of, Rib eye extra mature (WELSH AND GRASS FED), at really good priced. Thanks Llechwedd

I will get straight to point. Hoping this review will find other online buyers and help them to decide if they want to order using the online service. Clearly there is a reason why their trustpilot score is amber than green, unlike Edwards of Conwy or Douglas Willis.

I placed an order over web, over 100 pounds, includes wings, lambs and beef. I asked the meat to be cut into pieces , just cut tips off the wings. Not a big ask, if I was at the shop floor, they will certainly do that for me.

To the contrary, they did not do any of my requests. They simply just sent the whole joint and wings to me for me to sort. As a courtesy I even called twice before and after placing the order to check if they could honour my request. The chap even confirmed all good. When called someone called John Roberts mentioned they will call me personally to look after this issue. All I got after that was a lousy email from Taz Williams with a half arsed apology and mentioning they can't do the chopping.

They had my phone number , could have called me before dispatching the order.

They could have told me while I called them to confirm.

This just shows the incompetence and inability for the business to understand and treat the web customers and floor customers in same way. I guarantee they would have treated me differently. They argued they can't pay the butcher to chop the meat that was bought online. Sure, why didn't you call me and charged me for the service? Pure incompetence and lack of customer service. Even the dead lamb was crying about it.

Received my second delivery I was charged £13.95 for a duck but the price on duck was £11.99. I did contact the company left message no reply .If I had used their voucher coupon I would have got 10% off. The cooked roast beef took 2 days to defrost and its a good job our dog has sharp teeth . The Gammon looked big as it was thin but when cooked ended up a mini gammon. Contacted the company again no reply Have now contacted Trading Standards Wales and my bank to resolve matters. First order At Christmas was great very pleased unfortunately second order was not so, I order a pack of 2 gammon steaks but they sent a pack with just one in, there is a difference in price too. I didn’t realise until I opened for dinner and I therefore had no dinner and paid for 2 and received 1 , emailed many times and never bother to reply not ordering again

had another great delivery from llechwedd meats, half welsh lamb which was on offer. Really well jointed and shrink wrapped ready for the freezer.

My new favourite shop,popped in today and after i got what i wanted i went to the checkout and was greeted by a very friendly staff member i was chatting to and he also gave me a loyalty card form so i filled it in and will drop it back down in my next visit.

Overall im very happy and im now a lifetime customer,thankyou so much 😁👍🏻.

Great choice of meat and great value great customer service and very good courier service always smile and bring it into my house for me.

Outstanding quality and value. The customer service is brilliant. Even the courier they use are top notch. They are my first port of call for lamb. Way better than the supermarket lamb.

We use Llechwedd Meats a lot, we have just got a Christmas meat delivery. The meat and the shipment were first class. I would highly recommend Llechwedd Meats. The lamb is out of this would. A1 all round.

I just received beautiful and succulent Welsh lamb from Llechwedd meats. Absolutely top class and better than any I bought. The delivery was very quick and the people who work there are brilliant at organising what you need. All the meat was well packed and arrived on time. Congratulations to all !
