I was so pleased to find locrating- it was exactly what I was looking for and was so well set up and easy to use. Choosing the right school is a big decision and this tool helped enormously as it provided all the information we needed to narrow down our search. Was worth every penny and I’d highly recommend to anyone.

We used Locrating for assessing quite a wide area that we weren’t familiar with. Looked at school performance,attainment and catchments. It was particularly helpful in working out which schools different areas were likely to attend(ruled out some houses saving us time). We also liked understanding how areas compared with crime data etc. As we have nearly exchanged we no longer need it but would recommend for people moving location or potentially developers.

Having run a little data analysis myself using the local authority data I appreciate just what a phenomenal effort the Locrating team have gone to in order to collate this all together in such a user-friendly format. Big kudos to the team and thank you for making my life easier!

I'm not great at making decisions. Neither am I good at leaving a house I have LOVED and put my heart and soul into. Even signing up for Locrating was a wrench. I did not want to move. I did not know where I wanted to go. What I did know is I couldn't stay where I was. We have all grown out of our area and it's not right for us any more. Older children needing more independence and things to do, meant one thing. Research. I love research. I am a geek for it. However looking for a new area, a new school, a new house and a better way of life is NOT easy. Locrating made it so much easier. The school information is second to none. I have never seen such a comprehensive amount of comparable information on schools laid out in such an easy way. I would have had SEVERAL tabs open for many different councils and still would not have got the info I needed. Before Locrating, I would have spent hours looking and not getting anywhere. I know this because I have done it. I am writing this because I want other people of small humans to stop wasting their valuable time and just pay for this service. It really does help. We are moving and we are all happy! Just need to not invest sooo much worry in picking fixtures and fittings next time!

This website is unrivalled when it comes to school data. I had searched for ages for league tables and data in one place, so then to discover all that, plus catchment areas and more in one place was just brilliant. If you are thinking of moving for schooling it is essential and worth every Penny for all the extra functionality a subscription unlocks.

Locating provides parents lot of information to assess the schools. It has very good user interface. It worths every penny when you are finding the suitable school for your children.

I'm using Locrating for quite a long time now and this is just the best website to search for schools! All valuable information you need in one place and very user friendly! I can easily say I'm addicted to it and I would recommend it to everyone! It helped me a lot when we relocated to London and now when looking for secondary school. When we were considering a move out of London to find areas with outstanding schools, we subscribed to Locrating, having heard how good it is. In my experience, it surpassed my expectations and became my go-to tool for learning more about potential areas to consider moving to. Their mapping function with the ability to filter on types/quality of schools, as well as on other local information made the process of narrowing down locations much easier than would be possible without these tools. It’s even possible to overlay property listings from Zoopla (again filterable), which really brings together everything needed to research and find the ideal house in the ideal location. Highly recommended and reasonable value too.
