Terrible company that cheats their…

Terrible company that cheats their customers and defends poor workmanship from their contractor partners. They don’t stand behind their agreements even when they have proof of wrong doing. Will NEVER shop at or use Lowe’s again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. On December 19, 2025, I had 2 new doors installed in my home. A job I was told would take 2-3 hours lasted 9 hours that included the installer swearing the entire time. He damaged my house and left a mess inside and outside of which I had to clean. It is now 2 1/2 months later dealing with customer service to get the damaged fixed. WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND.

I always have issues at the store in…

I always have issues at the store in Chattanooga. Service is beyond horrible and management apparently doesn’t care. A shopper behind me was also complaining about the rudeness and lack of customer service . I avoid this store as much as possible unless something is not available at a local Ace. This is not a one off as it is always bad….

Online purchase fail

I ordered a @Schlage electric lock online using a gift card and received a clearly used/open-box item. I attempted to process a return online and was told my only option was to bring it to a local store. At the store, they could only issue an in-store credit that cannot be used online. None of my local Lowe’s locations have this @Schlage lock in stock, so the credit is effectively useless for replacing the product I ordered. The store advised me to call customer service, who were also unable to help and instead contacted another store on my behalf. That store then called me and told me to come in, but when I arrived, they did not have the item in stock either. After two store visits and two lengthy phone calls, I’m left with a worthless in-store credit for an item that is only available online, plus a lot of wasted time and frustration.

Do not buy appliances here five failed repairs no support

I purchased a brand new whirlpool washing machine from Lowe’s on August 14, 2025 along with a Lowe’s protection plan manufacture warranty. The machine has failed to function properly and I’ve had five separate service appointments for the same issue of the washer being too loud and will not work properly. They have scheduled me another appointment March 13 despite the same issue despite five repair attempts of machine is still broken. I have contacted low service advantage services and they refused to replace Unity despite it being an 11 this is causing man inconvenience require me to file this review. Lowes needs to standby their product in order the warranty by replacing this unit. I’m thoroughly disappointed in the lack of consumer support and failure of the repair service.

Lowes customer service lied

Lowes customer service lied to my employee about why his card wasn't working at our nearest location.. They then told my employee that I had to call customer service to clear it up and who I talked to pretty much told me that the customer service people lied to the employee at our nearest location. Why are we lying Lowes? Not a trustworthy company.

Lowes Commack great experience.

After having my fill of Home Depot, I went to Lowe’s in Commack for my last project.
Thanks to Syed’s expert and patient assistance—from placing the order to picking it up—the entire experience went far better than I expected.
I went back for my next project, and once again Syed handled everything just as well, if not better.
While I can’t speak for every department, I can confidently recommend Lowe’s Commack and Pro Sales Specialist Syed for anyone who wants knowledgeable help and a smooth, stress free process.

I see alot of bad reviews for Lowe's

I see alot of bad reviews for Lowe's. I do not think they are fair. Lowes is the walmart to home depots target. In that Lowe’s is considered to be the lower wage version of the two stores. This is why i hate to put Lowe’s down, they are trying very hard to stay afloat when the larger Home Depot is trying to run them out of business. This is an issue because everyone will miss Lowe’s when the only tool store left is home depot. There really is not much of a real difference between Lowe’s and Home Depot, ones color is orange the others is blue. Home Depot has green mold resistant drywall Lowe’s has purple mold resistant drywall. That really is about it.

Floor I ordered took forever to get in…

Floor I ordered took forever to get in did not do the measurements right and tried to charge me. Then got charged extra for installing! Then waiting months to get a divider between my bathroom floor and carpet that didn't even match. Go with a floor company payed whay to much for a small project!

I am done with lowes

I am done with lowes. Got a credit with them through synchrony and made a large purchase of 1500 over time. Never been late and always made over minimum then synchrony cut my credit limit by thousands taking a big hit on my credit scores. You want to lie down with dogs lowes you get fleas. I am done with you. Synchrony is worst then the mafia

Ordered microwave and dishwasher on 2…

Ordered microwave and dishwasher on 2 18 26 I still have not received yet. Scheduled for 3 3 26. Paid for separate installations and haul away for 50.00. Installer decides by robo caller to set up. Mr. Walter's at customer service was not helpful at ALL ! I MANAGED customer service in my past. He was not giving my issue for the microwave any thing but lame excuses. A serious Need for the microwave,

HIGH PRICED INSTALLATION02

I liked the price for a new hot water heater, i liked the delivery & installation service, They were right on time, did a good job installing my water heater!!
i did not like the price, $1400. for a $494.00 water heater installed, 2 guys were hear less than 1 hour, Looks like they charged $900.00 to deliver, install, & haul away a water heater!!!

This message is intended to raise awareness for professionals considering contract roles at Lowe’s.
- Unstable Contract Engagements: Employees may be removed from the company within 5 to 15 days of joining, without clear reasons or prior feedback from reporting managers or HR Business Partners.
- Lack of Work Assignment: Even after joining, projects or tasks may not be assigned promptly, leaving employees idle.
- Absence of Documentation: No process documents or structured onboarding materials are provided, making it difficult to understand expectations or responsibilities.
- Personal Experience: I joined Lowe’s on 09.02.2026 under a contract role. Despite being onboarded, no project or work was assigned to me, and there was no clarity on processes. Shortly after, I was removed without explanation.

Today I get a email saying 40% off on appliances I went on the app and bursted out laughing my wife asked what's up I said you know the stove we looked at two months ago that was $500 They have it on the app for $509 and saying regular price was $699 these crooked companies got me going to start taking photos of things to post when they lying to people!!!!

DONT EVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS…

DONT EVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS ESTERO LOWES!! And especially do not buy a pressure washer! They have only a 48 hour return allowance for A LOT of item in their store!
Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot just down the street! They are less expensive than lowes on most items and will NEVER hassle you on returns!

You will be SORRY I you ever purchase something from Lowe's

My garage door opener was defective and went to Lowe's to order the replacement and installation since I could not online. I was told I would be contacted within 24-48 hours for installation. When I was not contacted, I called Lowe's about 72 hours later. They called the installer and then told me they could not schedule the installation and could not tell me when they could. Lowe's gave me the contact number for the installer and I called them and got the same answer. They could not schedule the installation and could not tell me when the could schedule the installation since they had no installers in my area which is Temecula/Murrieta, which is a large area. So I contacted another installer who could do it that day and proceeded to cancel my Lowe's order. I would strongly recommend to NEVER purchase anything from Lowe's, especially if you are going to have them install it.

Don’t ever do the survey for $500 gift card,, I had the most nasty experience with a person.. I should be given an apology or a darn percentage off!!! He was of course not from USA an was just down right disgusting on the phone. Lowe’s should be doing something about this crap..

Buyer beware: Lowe’s might hold your refund unless you sign ‘release form’ — how a Missouri retiree beat the process

Long story short - this retiree who built wooden toys for charity for children from low income families had ordered and paid for a garage door in October for his workshop. By December the door hadn’t arrived, and so he requested a refund. The Lowes of Kansas City, MO store manager denied the refund of his $1,400 and instead sent him to Lowe’s corporate. Lowes Companies Inc consistently refused this grandfather his money back until he was asked to sign a confidentiality agreement with a non-disparagement clause. Lowe’s executive leaders are terrified of any negative news such as denying this honest customer their money back. So he went to the local media and a Problem Solver reporter began investigating. That’s when Lowe’s finally relented and backed down from this fight with this grandfather. All over $1,400.
Readers should be cautious of big ticket purchases from Lowe’s Home Improvement stores such as this( big to some, not to others) before making purchases such as washer & dryer
Sets, refrigerators or other home improvement items because the same fate may await them.
