Good communication and updates

The overall process was relatively smooth taking into consideration the complexity of the case. However, it would have been better if we weren't asked for information that we did not have as everything had been presented to the insurance company already. Bethany Chandler was particularly helpful and kept us updated as regularly as possible.

Very poor communication

Responses are extremely slow! No updates are provided only when I ask and even then I don’t get a response for a couple of weeks! Case is still ongoing since my car crash in January. I’d appreciate if someone can look into this and provide me with any updates available. A friend of mine had a car crash 4 weeks after mine and hers has already been resolved, both of our accidents were the same! Why is mine taking so long? Last communication was a month ago 21/05/2026

Tyrell Blake provided an excellent…

Tyrell Blake provided an excellent service. He replied promptly to my emails, and followed up any queries, always keeping me in the loop with what was going on. He was courteous and friendly in his attitude and approach. His communications were detailed and information was relevant. The claim took a long time to complete, mostly down to delays and problems caused by Premex, but Tyrell followed any issues up and pursued them until they they were resolved. I unreservedly recommend his services.

I recently had a problem with a local…

I recently had a problem with a local trader and my home insurance LV put me intouch with Lyons Davidson solicitors the solicitor I spoke to was Georgina Evans my experience from then was I can only say Brilliant she ask me for all the paper work that related to the problem I'd got and just took control and guided my throw the whole process I can't Thank Georgina enough satisfactory outcome and I thought Georgina really looked after me Thank you so much Gary Lilley

Very slow progress - Please don't believe all reviews

Hi, Your company is not answering any of my message for the MYM/GR28/01629007/00000001. I made a review few months ago, again this is the same issue. The progress of my case is so slow, staff are not pro active. its already a year and since it started, I am still waiting for my case handler to give some updates. Please can someone relay this to your claims department?

Lyons Davidson Review

After an traffic accident I was confused about what action to take. Right from the start of contacting Lyons Davidson I have been helped and supported. Sophie Miller could not have been more helpfull. Everything was explained to me. She arranged medical appointments, explained legal matters, kept me infomed of my case, was very supportive, helpful, informative and completely transparent. Nothing seemed to much. trouble. Excellent service by Nelay he's amazing

We were put in touch with Lyons Davidson, Bristol in December 2025 by our insurance company, related to a contract issue with a car dealership. Initially, Lyons Davidson appointed another Case Handler for us, but as matters were moving frustratingly slowly, we contacted the Case Supervisor Ben Johnson, who transferred it to Nelay Joshi.
Nelay was totally responsive, competent and professional. He was always courteous, gave sensible advice and represented our side efficiently. We very much appreciated his hard work during this time.
Nelay made an extremely stressful situation more manageable and with his invaluable input, we were recently able to achieve a positive outcome. Thanks again.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was referred to Lyons Davidson through my home insurance legal expenses cover. They are a really bad firm of solicitors. It took over a month for them to make an assessment of my case, only to tell me that I have less than 50% chance of success under my legal expenses cover so if I wish for them to proceed I have to pay them directly. In my case it was clear that I had great chance of success considering case law and previous challenges so I took matters into my own hands and successfully challenged the company I had an issue with. I would say don't waste your time with Lyon Davidson.

This rating is really for Katie Britton…

This rating is really for Katie Britton who has not been my case handler for very long. My case was passed to Lyons Davidson over 3 years ago now and I have had numerous case handlers, my issues have been, poor response times to messages( says 5 working days on site but some of my replies took weeks and you end up having to ring to try and get things moving), wasting time by not understanding my case properly and what I was claiming for and not explaining what will happen and how long it will roughly take. Katie then took over and I suddenly felt that things were moving forward, she has finalised my claim within a couple of months but not only that she was great with keeping me updated on what she needed and what she would do and managed my expectations, her responses to texts were timely as well, so thank you Katie

Highly recommend

Lyons Davidson Excellent Solicitors

I gave 5 star but would give more if there were more to give. Extremely polite, professional staff. As I was unwell I knew I could trust my solicitor. Catherine Stewart to act for me. Catherine was completely focused on taking my case forward. She gave me excellent advice service, to the successful conclusion of my case, winning full compensation for me. I always felt included at all times as Catherine and other staff Lyons Davidson staff were always there when I needed clarification or assistance. It is really important to be able to contact your solicitor and I was always able to do this. When I was in hospital Catherine had my permission to contact my husband, which helped me concentrate on my recovery. She rang me personally to give me the good news that we had reached an acceptable settlement with the other side.

Excellent support from case handler

Abbie was a great help throughout my case and always took the time to explain every step along the way.

She was professional and courteous yet friendly. Whenever I asked to speak to somebody, she would call me back soon after and took the time to answer any questions I had.

I was involved at every point and I appreciated having options laid out before me and being advised on each. I also noted her good practice in asking for my consent when anything needed to be released, requested or updated.

I'm very happy with the service I received from Abbie and she made a difficult situation easier.

Service was excellent and genuine!!

LDS was recommended by my home insurance when I had an accident more than three years now. Tia who took my case was so helpful and understanding right from the beginning. When I needed to contact Tia via the customer portal, I can always rely on the prompt response.If I do need to speak to her, Tia will always call me back promptly which was a relief from my end.

It took us a while to settle the claim but eventually worked it out. I did ask for an honest and practical advice from Tia - she gave me just that. I am very grateful indeed for it.

I would recommend LDS -their service is great and staff are genuinely nice and kind (this is from my own experience). Thank you so much Tia and her team x

A great experience working with Rebecca…
