We were very pleased with the service provided by Magnet Kitchens
Margarita was our Magnet Kitchen designer who was fantastic and provided us with a great deal of help in choosing our kitchen design and fittings and answering all our questions.
We are really pleased with our fitted kitchen it looks lovely.
Margarita also recommended the builders who fitted the kitchen and carried out the additional building work to accommodate the new design. We were really pleased with their work.
Overall we have been very pleased with the service offered by Magnet Kitchens

Kitchen has been SUPERB – from start to finish. Have to say all went well with the installation, Nick was a great recommendation, and he has done a fantastic job for us. The only minor issue we had related to a hairline crack in the Belfast sink (which was not noticed until after the installation was effectively completed). Although it was totally genuine, and not noticed by anyone until afterwards, I have to say I was apprehensive as to whether this would be queried given the timing. However, it was confirmed it would be swapped and re-fitted without question...a mark of truly great customer service!

Therefore, we were incredibly impressed by the overall service offered by Magnet, and that all stemmed from our first meeting / consultation with Jon Allen in the Leicester branch last October. He was brilliant in his approach, offering specialist input and design advice (based on his extensive experience) and managed to the co-ordination of everything prior to installation.

Genuinely, we could not fault any step of the process!

I can't say that this experience was without problems. There were plenty. Mainly this was due to communication and over commitment on their part. The 5 day job took 30 days.
HOWEVER, they listened to me and the branch manager ROB, at LINCOLN branch was professional and empathetic throughout. If someone asked me if I would use Magnet again I would tell them yes. I think this experience was tainted with bad luck from the start and you can't really legislate for that. The kitchen is finished and it's an excellent standard. The fitter
(SDC JOINERY LTD) is excellent and his work is certainly of a very high standard.
3 stars is about right taking everything into account. It could have so easily been 5.

From design by Zoey Leach at the Preston branch to installation by Scot Taylor and his team everything went brilliantly. Zoey was great, she listened to what we wanted and that is what we got.
We would recommend Magnet Kitchens without hesitation and Zoey in particular

Avoid Leeds Magnet!!! What should have been a simple kitchen fitting that lasted 3 days has taken 4 months to complete due to incompetent fitter being assigned. Despite several escalations and photo evidence of shoddy work I have received no compensation. I was provided a fitter who incorrectly fit the sink, resulting in 3 leaks. Also poor workmanship has left the kitchen with a DIY feel (I was left with brown sealant on a cream kitchen). Despite the store manager coming round and agreeing with every word I said in person, he did not help or support me when complaining on email. I was told that even though magnet vetted, hired and assigned the rubbish fitter I had to deal with the mess. They honestly saw a single woman and stole the £10k. Not happy with the service or support and to top it all off the cabinets are warping. AVOID and if you have to get the cabinets here do not go for the fitting service.

I'd contacted Magnet as part of three quotes I wanted to get for a replacement kitchen. It's true that first impressions can make all the difference - and this was the only showroom who, upon walking in, had no one in the display area to welcome you. It was deserted and had to hang around, awkwardly, for someone to appear. When they did, the conversation with the staff member didn't flow and we found we were having to guide every aspect of the initial conversation- something that should have been the other way round!

We'd then arranged a visit to come up and measure our existing kitchen area, and whilst trying to arrange this, another staff member starting bellowing across the showroom to the person we were dealing with, rudely shouting to him "you can't go then" and "we need 2 in the showroom" - very unprofessional.

After the measure appointment we went back to the showroom to discuss prices. Magnet, were, by far, the most expensive on our like for like three quotes - by miles - stupidly expensive in fact. Naturally, therefore, we didn't want to use them.

Sent an email, politely explaining why we wouldn't be progressing with Magnet but thanked them for their time. The response? Nothing! Nowt! Very rude in my opinion- I would at least have expected an acknowledgement - to me, a non response = thrown our toys out of the pram and not speaking to you!

Therefore, poor Customer Service as well as price has let Magnet down and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I renovated houses for a living and have always used Howdens but I thought I would try Magnet for my own house. Safe to say I will NEVER use Magnet again or recommend them to any of my clients. Firstly they don't offer to come out to measure if you are using your own kitchen fitter (unlike Howdens who come out shortly after you pay for your kitchen or as small as a utility room) the staff are rude and tried to tell me I was incorrect when they had delivered the wrong coloured kitchen and they also sold a tap that didn't fit my kitchen, all of which made my kitchen take a month longer the original completion date with no working sink for a family with young children,

Treena Varsani really went above and beyond to help us design our kitchen. She was willing to come out of ours to visit the house because of my work schedule and was very careful to get everything looking just right. She took account of the fact that I am installing the kitchen myself and that I am not an experienced fitter.

We recently had a kitchen fitted by Magnet Leicester and the result is far better than we imagined this was down to the people we dealt with
John in the showroom who took us through all the possibilities in regard to design and then came to our house to finalise the design and explained the reasoning behind his suggestions.
Order was placed and was put into the hands of Nick the installer. We decided to go on holiday for 2 weeks to allow him to install kitchen.
On our return to say that we were surprised how well the kitchen looked would be an understatement. Everything was clean and tidy
I would have no hesitation in recommending Magnet especially John and Nick WELL DONE

My partner and I had a magnet kitchen installed a few years back which we love and decided to recently install a new utility room to match. All of the staff at the norwich branch have been excellent. From Jonathan in sales who helped us put together what we would need at a reasonable price to Luke best and Michael Goldie in the trade department who quickly resolved an issue we had with materials.

Couldn't recommend the Norwich store and team enough and we now have a kitchen and utility we love.

I have fitted perhaps 8 or 9 kitchens in my time and in the past have done everything myself. This time having Andy Kirkpatrick (from the Edinburgh Leith Walk Magnet branch) design and order and oversee the entire thing was a complete joy. Nothing was overlooked or forgotten down to the tiniest detail. And every single thing I needed including helpful assembly tips and instructions was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Fabulous service.

Initial appointment for planning was good but after that, problems with the final design, installation date, fitters and extra costs such as waste collection and floor protection.

Getting though on phone, email or their portal takes multiple attempts before an apathetic two word reply.

Cancelled the order before sign off and then the problems started with the refund that ‘was processed’. Involved customer service who tried to help but got caught up in the web of what the store was telling them which they passed on to me. None of it was true because when I asked for the receipt for the refund days later, it was only then proceeded.

Spectacular performance for incompetence and saying one thing and doing another for store manager M*k* and designer A*i.

Avoid. If you are considering a kitchen, call the Clapham store and email it…see how poorly responsive they are even before you pay them anything.

Also, check the business news. Magnet have just filed for a Company Voluntary Arrangement which is one step away from being bankrupt.

Georgia has been absolutely brilliant with the design and installation of our beautiful new kitchen. We visited the showroom and had just a few initial ideas and she made our kitchen dreams come to life. She was more than happy to tweak and amend plans to meet our needs and budget. Georgia is extremely knowledgeable and attentive when coming to planning out the best layout for your needs.
We would highly recommend Georgia at Magnet in Portsmouth.

Two kitchens with Ash — top man

We’ve had Ash design two kitchens for us now and he’s been brilliant both times. Really felt like he was working with us rather than just selling to us — we had a couple of annoying corners that we couldn’t figure out and he came up with some clever solutions we’d never have thought of.

Always had time for us, always happy to help, and just a really positive bloke to deal with. Made the whole thing easy. If you’re doing a kitchen at Magnet St Austell, ask for Ash.

Too many panels ordered for kitchen despite them coming to measure and no refund offered, poor designer and customer service.
Half units ordered and delivered in wrong colour.
Would never recommend.

We just had a new kitchen fitted, designed by Alex Coopley at the Leicester magnet branch. Installed by Nick at Littlethorpe kitchens, and we are so happy with it. The process was relatively smooth. Alex had to take over from a colleague who went on the sick, but he picked up the job brilliantly and designed a great unique kitchen for us. the installation was smooth and trouble free. ( We did run off for three weeks and left them to it). The whole thing was very easy for us and we love the end result. WE had a couple of doors that arrived with scratches but these were immediately replaced. Highly recommend Alex and Nick.

Ujjal from Magnet Kitchens in Macclesfield was absolutely brilliant. He was so helpful all the way through the process, from the initial design through to delivery and construction. At the design stage he really understood our hopes and vision for our kitchen and helped us plan a great layout. He was always very attentive and quick to respond if we had any queries.
In the end Ujjal and Magnet provided us with a fantastic kitchen that looks just like the original visuals. So thank you Ujjal!

The customer service in store was amazing. We felt no pressure during the design consultation and we felt that we were listened to. Harnek was very helpful and came across as well informed about Magnet kitchen and what they offer. The Derby store manager was equally welcoming!

We recently had a kitchen designed and supplied by The Bournemouth branch of Magnet. Our designer Belinda was fantastic; she took the time and trouble to understand our needs and the specific challenges of the space. She had some great design ideas and cost saving tips. Now fitted, we are delighted with the result and very happy with the quality of the kitchen. We felt fully supported by the team at Bournemouth who went the extra mile to meet our fitting schedule. We do not hesitate to recommend a Magnet kitchen, and Belinda as a kitchen designer.

After a large extension on our house, we visited many kitchen suppliers and found Magnet, at Branksome, super helpful. In particular, Belinda, who went far beyond the requirements of a Sales Executive. In truth, she was amazing. Her product knowledge, and patience, were second to none. I'd also like to mention Taylor as she, too, gave first class support. We would definitely recommend them and would certainly use them again, in the future.
