I was quite daunted at the prospect of having a piece of marble fabricated for a bathroom vanity unit but Sophia from Mandarin Stone was exceptional throughout the whole process. She sent photos of the available slabs and had samples sent within 24 hours and was very patient with me from start to finish. The end result is gorgeous and I would not hesitate to have another fabrication made by Mandarin Stone.

From our very first visit to the Peterfield shop, the team stood out as engaging, professional, and highly knowledgeable about their products.

We ordered marble tiles, which were delivered by Callum—an outstanding driver for whom nothing was too much trouble. His “can do” attitude, combined with exceptional driving and crane skills, made a lasting impression. He is a true asset to the company.

Of course, mistakes can happen—and on this occasion, we ordered the wrong size tiles. I returned to the store, somewhat cap in hand, to see what could be done. Without hesitation, Natalie, the Regional Manager, resolved the issue immediately. She arranged an exchange, refunded the difference, and ensured collection and redelivery were handled exactly as promised. No questions, no complications—just excellent service.

It’s this level of commitment that sets the company apart. I will be purchasing all my tiles from them in the future—because ultimately, it’s the people who make the difference.

As a former CEO in retail, I know that a genuine “customer-first” attitude is what truly distinguishes a business in such a competitive market—and this team exemplifies it.

The samples I ordered arrived and two were completely the wrong ones. Of course I called the head office, immediately, I received an apology and the correct ones were sent out the next day. It’s not the first time there have been issues in the past and these are mistakes that I wouldn’t expect from a premium online tile supplier.

The team in Wilmslow are superb! Helpful and knowledgeable. The products are always great quality and delivery, communication is reliable.

Good service, delivery very expensive but I think most tile suppliers are about the same.

Product great , easy to order but delivery v poor Gave a date that the transport company clearly never intended to meet as no pre notification did get email on the due date asking of could deliver the following day I agreed and then got pre delivery message tue same day ie day before delivery Driver then decided my entrance was to hard to do (trucks much bigger have done it lots of times) and dumped the product for my builders to managed Sort of taints the premium experience mandarins prices lead you to expect

The tiles are beautiful, I really like the photos of the tiles that have been used in projects on the website - great inspo. Plus, Celeste was amazing at helping us with what we needed and making timeframes work for us.

A fabulous website and a beautiful shop in Harrogate! I visited in person and loved seeing the tiles on display before making my choice. The staff were excellent and knowledgeable!

I chose the Di Scacchi marble tiles and Calacatta honed tiles, and they look absolutely stunning in my bathroom. They’ve completely transformed the space into a room I truly adore.

I particularly loved being able to see photos of real customer projects on the website—it really helps to visualise how the tiles can look in different settings. It’s also very helpful that tiles are paired with suggested grout colours, which made decision-making so much easier.

Ordering was simple and straightforward, and delivery was quick and efficient.

Fabulous tiles for our new kitchen splash back at competitive price.
Arrange for collection as I live 15 miles away avoiding delivery charges which for the small amount of tiles would have been 25% of the order cost.
So be mindful of this , otherwise excellent company to deal with. Thank you and the tiles really look amazing.

Beautiful tiles, easy delivery and ordering

Tiles were nice and delivery was seamless, but I was hoping for slightly more hands-on customer service. I went in to the Primrose Hill shop and got to see some of the tile I was looking for in-person. The sales associate was helpful and showed me lots of tiles in the color profile I was looking for, then left me to look at them and just... Never returned. I spent about 20 minutes looking at tiles and taking some photos before heading upstairs and asking to take some samples home, and ended up placing my order myself a couple of days later.

A week after I visited, somebody emailed me and asked if I wanted a quote.

I'm particularly frustrated now, because there was all sorts of things I didn't anticipate with a tile order that I would hope the staff would have asked me about. There were several details regarding trim that I ended up working out at the last minute - and other details that the builders just ended up having to compromise around - because I was underprepared with materials like the trim.

Overall, I don't think it warrants a negative review, and the tiles they provided arrived in good shape and they look good. But make sure that you do your research and carefully consider your space, because, based on my experience, they will treat you like a pro and you may need to advocate for yourself.
