Order no 000074378 ordered and paid for on 31 August 2022. To date, after many automated messages and some promises of delivery.... no delivery of the product or refund is forthcoming. Calls to the Midrand office remain unanswered. Tried numerous times to sign on to their website and it just tells you the details incorrect without any way of getting it restored. This is definitely a SCAM!!

Ordered a book in December and never received it. Tried emailing but got no replies.

Careful, it looks like a scam. No response to emails. no answering of phone calls. I have given them only one star because this rating system requires this otherwise i would not want to give them any stars. PLEASE REVIEW ALL THE ALERTS ON THESE GUYS

Everything went wrong. I did not receive my parcel. I did not get a refund. I send emails (2), phoned (no answer) and also locked a ticket on their website. These people don't even reply. Please don't waste your money by buying from Manicaa. They are a useless business.

Placed order over 2 months ago. When you send a query you get a response "we have received your payment" when you call the 011 number, you are number 4 in the queue, when you reach number 1 the call is dropped, when you dial in again you start at number 4 again and the whole sequence starts all over again. Till today, I have not received feedback nor tracking number, shipping date or ETA.

I ordered Wed, 19 Apr, 14:26 Order ID: #**********86 till today, I haven't received my order, no emails calls nothing. I've sent numerous emails and Facebook messages with no luck trying to get to them. I feel like I've been ****med with my hard-earned money with no one explaining where is my order. when you try to call, no answer. I'm very disappointed and angry.

Please avoid buying from Manicaa. I placed an order last year 25 July 2022, until now no delivery, no refund, no response on emails and they are not answering the phones. Be careful

Further to my one star review Manicca contacted me and apologised for the lack of communication for the period December 2022 till May 2023 due to load shedding!
Promised to contact me within 48 hours after reading the review.
Still no communication.
Do thieves ever return to the scene of a crime?
I think that these scum bags have a huge community of online shoppers that they can scam at least once and never bother if they never hear from you again.

Dealing with this company has taught me to check reviews and if they have as many bad ones as Manicaa, I won't buy in future. Ordered on 13th October, 2022 and delivery has yet to be made. Asked for refund for order 000076478 a few times with no result. Occasional automated reply but nothing more. Phoning them is a joke. Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid doing business with Manica at all cost. Giving them a one start rating is still to high for their pathetic service. Their timeline for my order wasn't met. Communication is POOR! Vague email replies, phones are seldom answered and when they are the background noise is so bad you struggle to hear, I'm not the only one complaining about this. Their excuse of high call traffic due to load shedding is unacceptable, get a generator or inverter! It sounds as if your "call centre is in a toilet, get proper furniture with partitions. My order was placed on 2020-12-20 and they couldn't fulfill it. After four months and numerous attempts they told me they got the wrong item and wanted to re-order. Fortunately I got a refund, but only after lots of emails and phone calls. NEVER AGAIN!

I regret not checking the reviews before making the online purchase😡😡😡 made an order of about 14k on April I’m still waiting for my refund of which they said it will take 7 working days to process.

I placed and paid for my Manicaa order on 4 January 2023, order reference #000080805. The total paid for this order is R426.00. This was eventually cancelled due to non delivery. I have requested for a refund, via e-mail after e-mail, but still waiting. Manicaa have acknowledged that they will refund me and they do have my bank details but no refund as yet. Manicaa, if you read my review and believe in integrity and customer service, please honour your obligation and refund me.

manicaa has a wide range of products on their big website... we had trouble getting some items from overseas... but they processed the refund for me

Can I urge everyone that has been financially abused by this company to take their complaint via the National Consumer Council. Yes it it takes time to fill in the forms etc but it is the only way to stop companies such as Manicaa from continuing their abuse. I am also a victim but decided that this time I had enough and went via the NCC. It wasnt easy for them either to deal with Manicaa so what chance do we have? This morning NCC informed me that there Complaints Dept had been unsuccessful in achieving my desired outcome and had given my file to their official Investigations Unit. I emailed Manicaa informing of this and received the usual automated, unrelated reply thanking me for my order and quoting a delivery time! However within 15 minutes I received an email confirming a complete refund and a proof of payment from ABSA bank. It has taken 6 months to achieve this. The NCC can help if you stand up and say enough is enough! There are several of big online companies in SA all operating the same process of prolonged non delivery, in the hope that the customer will get fed up and go away. Dont let them get away with it. Incidentally the NCC has published several recent articles on Manicaa if you Google "Manicaa ****"

Been begging for a tax invoice since Oct 2022 and support does not even bother to answer my emails. Please send us a tax invoice....

Order 000028787. Waiting more than a year for a refund with non-action electronic replies to all my emails and swearing! How can they get away with it!

Deserves a 0 star!!! I bought something in 2021... All I've gotten was excuses and the refund, WHAT A JOKE!!!! Nothing until now... Why is their business still operational!

Please do not buy anything from Manicaa.com. It's a scam and I've learned the hard way!

Scam. Placed an order and paid for it a year ago... I am still waiting for the order to be delivered or refunded.
