Fantastic Driver. Item received late at night so couldn’t clearly see it. Next day in true light realised it was damaged on the edges possibly due to poor packaging as only one side was in protection. Would I recommend the company??? Yes I would. Took a while for item to be delivered but at the end of the day I needed it.

Great products, great value but more than that excellent customer service. Despite an issue being due to my own fault they assisted me and provided a more than reasonable solution in the circumstances.

Quality product at competitive price.
Straight forward ordering process with plenty of options available. When I needed to make a slight change to my order, this was easy to do. Delivery was on time and all product received in good condition.

Brilliant customer service
Placed my order and waited for confirmation of delivery. After a few days I contacted the company and they replied within 15mins with a delivery date. The day before delivery I received a call from the delivery driver to discuss the best time. He agreed and delivered all the items unmarked or damaged. He also helped me carry them around an awkward property. Never have I had a delivery person ask me when the best time is. Fantastic customer service from start to finish.

Do not use this company! They are scammers!
I paid an extra £45 to have the order delivery in 1-4 days, but it turns out, unless you live locally to Birmingham, you won't be getting it within that time as they deliver the orders themselves. The website is misleading and the customer service is poor. I have low expectations for the product, I will come back with another review once received.

Costly delivery!
I placed an order for some dado rail, I needed it quickly for a job I had started, I didn’t need it primed as it was being painted a different colour. My thinking was that it was a stock item and would be put out for delivery straight away.
I thought by paying the £45 delivery charge I would get it within the 1-4 days quoted for delivery. From ordering online to delivery it took 5 days, would have been good to know how long the wait was going to be when ordering. Probably could have saved myself the hefty delivery charge!

Delivery options and estimated timeframes are shown during checkout once delivery details are entered, and the different services are priced based on speed and routing. That said, we appreciate your comments about wanting clearer visibility of the likely wait at the point of ordering - it’s helpful to know where expectations can feel out of step.

The ordering was easy. They kept us informed of every stage from order right up to the delivery. The delivery guy phoned before delivery to inform us of the time he would deliver and was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend this company.

Great choice and clear information on…
Great choice and clear information on prices. Variety of lengths was also a factor in choosing Skirting World - other sites didn’t have longer lengths available meaning splicing boards together which obviously is to be avoided when possible. After placing my order I was updated with which stage the process was at, for example I was told that the boards would be produced on a certain date followed by spray painting the following day. The boards were also available in many thicknesses and widths, which was great. As with all purchases the acid test is the finished product. The boards were perfect, uniform, painted as required and delivered when they said they would be. No dings, no scratches, no corners compressed, just a good product. Far better than traveling to local stores looking for straight boards amongst the rubbish sometimes offered.
Well done skirting world, see you on my next project.

Shipping Charge
No problems with product but I was disappointed with a charge of £12,50 for shipping .
This charge appeared on my bill at the very last,inute and I accepted before I realised it had been added.
People should be informed about this charge at the outset and not slipped in at the end.

4 of the lengths had a scrape mark down the middle. We had to sand them down as we didn’t have time to return them. We needed them fitting. Very disappointing.
