My dehumidifier had been leaking water. Meaco were extremely helpful. They explained about their repairs service and sent me a returns label with instructions as to how send the dehumidifier back. They emailed with the problem they'd found, fixed it and returned my dehumidifier promptly. I couldn't have asked for better service or a fairer price for it.

Highly inaccurate reads massively different to 3 thermo pro humidity sensors placed around the room the machines have to put it on 40 to keep it below 55 despite the machine reading 39 but the room is 55 just hammers the electric have sent numerous videos in to meaco

Had a problem with the on/off switch so contacted Customer Support. They arranged for it to be repaired and made it so easy. Harry did a great job making the arrangements and kept me informed with progress.

After 1 year the dehumidifier displayed an error. I asked Meaco what it meant. Next thing I know they are sending a box so I can send it back for repair! Dehumidifier collected when promised, and sorted within a few days. I even got a service report! I didn't even know it was faulty! Brilliant service and my dehumidifier works better than ever.

After advising Meaco we had an issue with our dehumidifier and supplying proof of purchas, they quickly responded with a collection request so we could send it back for repair under warranty.
We took it to the Post Office on the Saturday over the Easter weekend and we had a fully working dehumidifier delivered back on the Friday.
All in all, a friendly and efficient customer service. I wish all companies treated you like this, as it feels like they genuinely care about your problem, and are happy to resolve it.

Amazing service. My dehumidifier was about 2 years old and stopped working. I emailed customer service, got a quick reply. They couriered a box to me and arranged collection from my home. The courier collected it on Wednesday, Maeco received, repaired and dispatched the machine on Thursday, and it was delivered back to me on Friday. Incredible! That's the best after-sales service I've received. Buy your machine from them.

Very good customer service. My Meaco Arete One 12L developed a fault where the control panel was not working and the unit could not be turned off without unplugging it.
I contacted support and the process was quick and smooth. They arranged collection, kept me informed, and repaired the unit. According to the service report, they replaced the main PCB, display PCB, and sensors. The dehumidifier now works perfectly again.
Communication was clear, turnaround time was reasonable, and the repair was done under warranty with no issues.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and would recommend Meaco.

Having purchased a Meaco Arete One 20l Dehumidifier with a 5 year warranty Now after just 26 Months I've been informed that I will have to pay for advice from "Just Answer" who want to charge me for advice no mention of the 5 year warranty that I've already paid for. Beware Scammers of the year so far.

Excellent product and customer service is exceptional. My dehumidifier developed a fault and I contacted Meaco directly. A repair was organised and pick up arranged very efficiently. Report itemising the repairs was sent to me and the product returned. I can’t speak more highly of this company. I judge a company on how they deal with product issues and Meaco have been one of the best companies to deal with. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying a dehumidifier to make Meaco a serious contender in deciding your purchase

I have couple in my house but I upgraded to this new 1 and water bit too small and rubbish to empty and I had send min back because some horrible smell like burning rubber or somthing so i got them send emtty box for me send bk when got to min was wrong box then they send me wright 1 so DPD picked my boxs up 1 empty and 1 with product and put 2 stickers on the DPD and i got the card with the number then emailed company and they says DPD only delivered the empty box and never delivered the other box but meaco gave me a new 1 and works good then 2 months in its smelling again of ruber wish never got it but I would like to say i love my others 1s of meaco but not this 1

Be aware that the warranty period is different across models. Our dehumidifier, which we paid around £150 for, had a 2 year warranty and broke just outside this period. It had a fault with the screen which seems to be a very common problem with the units. Out of warranty there is a cost of £70 plus £10 for a box to get the unit repaired but this is not guaranteed. This cost is extortionate relative to the price of the product.
The Consumer Rights Act states that products must be be satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Under this law electrical goods need to last a reasonable length of time, which in England and Wales is 6 years. On pointing this out to Meaco they responded to state that "For a domestic dehumidifier in this price range, a lifespan of around 2–4 years would generally be considered reasonable."
No wonder the warranty period for this particular unit is only two years! A 2-4 years lifespan for the product is absolutely not reasonable and completely ignores the 6 years set out by the Consumer Rights Act.
My partner has taken the unit apart and diagnosed the issue, however Meaco do not sell any spare parts (which in itself is unlawful where parts are not regulated as it prevents right to repair) so we are having to source a new display screen from elsewhere (which incidentally only costs a couple of pounds) and hope this works.
What a waste of money, plastic and resources if we are unable to repair it ourselves. It is ironic that Meaco keep sending marketing emails saying how the company is sustainable. If they were actually sustainable they would sell parts and/or provide lifetime warranties.

The fault on our dehumidifier was handled smoothly and efficiently and we had it back and running in a week. We were updated at each stage by customer service .Rather different than a lot of companies nowadays.

Unbelievable service! Our dehumidifier stopped working after 3.5 yrs and Meaco paid for delivery of box and for postage and fixed it really quickly with no extra cost. Would recommend this company as a sustainable alternative ti cheap dehumidifiers.

We have been using Meaco products for over 3 years. They are excellent. We have two different sized Arete dehumidifiers and an aircon unit.
The units are very effective at keeping our house and laundry dry. The other stand out is the gold standard customer service and warranty . If there is an issue within 5 years they just collect it, fix it and send it back. Most companies delay or try to wriggle out of warranty obligations asking for x y z documentation or saying it is not covered because of : reason a b or c. So refreshing to find a company that is trustworthy. Meaco are like John Lewis used to be in the last century. We wouldn't buy any other brand of de humidifier.

Meaco are without doubt the best company I have ever dealt with with regard to fault repair! My original email reporting a fault on my dehumidifier was sent 26th March and now today, only one week on, Meaco have fixed and returned it in full working order, with a 2 yr guarantee on work undertaken.
Communication throughout has been superb, having received emails at every stage to keep me in the loop.
I would have no hesitation in buying from Meaco in the future and would highly recommend to others. Many thanks to all staff involved.

Fantastic response to my original email querying a fault. As my dehumidifier was under warranty Meaco arranged collection, repair and return within a week. I was also offered a service at a very reasonable cost, which I took. Their customer service is excellent.
