I bought a laptop from Microdream
I bought a laptop from Microdream. This had a pressure mark on the screen that wasn't mentioned in the item description. When I asked for a refund I didn't get the full amount, the delivery charge was excluded because in their opinion "the issue was overstated". They also mentioned macro photos, but I didn't use the macro function.
I could see the pressure mark when using my drawing program as well, but they said the decision was final as they decided it wasn't visible with normal use, whatever that means to them.
I wouldn't recommend them.

Failed so far to refund me
Failed so far to refund me. Communication is absolutely terrible they fail to respond to their narrow correspondence means what's app. Have now had to use PayPal dispute services. A good company resolves issues quickly when things go wrong. I can't endorse this company

Laptop unusable, and they don’t care!
I would give zero stars if I could.
I purchased a laptop which was slow but usable at first. After around 5 months, I was suddenly locked out due to BitLocker and could no longer access any of my data.
I did not set up BitLocker myself. The operating system was installed by the company, and there was no mention of encryption or recovery requirements at the point of purchase.
When I contacted them for help, they refused to assist unless I paid £50 to reinstall the software, stating that “software isn’t covered”. I have therefore been left without access to the device or my data.
Communication has been very difficult, the phone line is constantly engaged, you can only use what’s app and responses have been rude to say the least.
I would VERY strongly advise against using this company. I will also be reporting this to Action Fraud.

What you described does happen most of the time. However, the main issue is with your shipping company here in Malawi. In many cases, once the item arrives, it takes over a week to be delivered, even after the taxes have already been paid unlike DHL is fast to deliver.
Additionally, responses to emails from your side tend to take a long time, which further delays the process.
