Really high quality book. Photos came out beautifully. Super easy to put everything together on the website and for anything I wasn't sure how to do, the instructional videos were very clear and thorough.

The website was really easy to use, designing a wedding album took about a full day but had the website not been designed as well, it could easily have taken 3-5 days.

There’s a range of layout options, binding options including fabrics to bind the album in. Beyond making the album various presentation options were offered.

It was easy to switch between colour or black and white although I’m not sure I recall a sepia option. The introduction offer was also quite nice and it only took a few days to deliver the completed product.

The service offers nice nudges such as do you want to share the draft with friends or family to review. This was the first album I made with MILK but I’d definitely make another one.

I only used an iPad for this one so will download the Mac software/app for the second album. One thing I did notice was that there was a lot of white space on some pages and I don’t think that what clear to me when reviewing the draft.

The other point I would add is that if there are stock options in terms of albums people make - such as weddings - it might be worth adding a checklist to test if people have covered all of the main moments so for example hair/makeup, jewellery, vows, speeches, etc.

The quality was much less than anticipated. I knew it was a magazine cover, but it had water stains within one day of arrival. Make sure you know exactly what material you’re getting. Certainly was not worth over $200 for something that was ruined so quickly.

Update: Customer service was very attentive and held firm on their satisfaction guarantee. They provided a voucher for a reprint with the amount paid, and I used this towards a book with a hard cover. Looking forward to the final product. One of the best customer service experiences I have had!

I honestly couldn't be happier with my new photobook! After years of saving and trying to find a company that would do justice to my beautiful wedding photos, I finally took a chance on MILK having seen them online. Their online editing set up is brilliantly simple to use and can be done in your own time, helping you with layouts and enabling you to create your own bespoke album in real time. The finished product is beautiful, from cover to cover the quality is absolutely wonderful, and despite how many pages my book has, it still lays flat and the linen cover sits beautifully across it. Some of my photos came out darker in print, but the paper quality is lovely as well, giving my book a professional finish, so the darkness isn't a huge problem.
As an amateur landscape and travel photographer, I've used all sorts of online printing services, but I will DEFINITELY being using MILK again and again. They are worth the higher price point and please don't be put off by them being based in Hong Kong.

My only feedback to the team at MILK comes in the form of requests - more layout options in the editing section please! And even bigger books so I can create some 'coffee table' style albums for landscape photos!

Beautiful work. The packing and presentation were solid. Though I made a relatively small one, the book itself felt substantial, the paper quality is beautiful and represents the photographs so well. The binding and folds are strong and durable. I love it!

The interface is so easy and intuitive to use and I really appreciated the ability to save and come back to it; the pre-purchase option is really helpful to take advantage of sale pricing too!

We love our Milk Books wedding album! We spent a lot of time researching which company would do the best job of capturing our memories and made the leap to Milk Books. The album turned out perfect! The prints look fantastic, and no details were spared. We will be recommending Milk Books to anybody who is willing to listen!

Such a smooth experience to create my album. The program was easy to use and I love all the options I could choose from to find the best layout. The team was so help when I realized I made a small error after I placed my order, we were able to correct it before it was printed !

I ordered a photo book for my son’s 18th birthday, and the quality is outstanding. I’ve made many photo books with other companies over the years, but none have come close to how beautiful this one is. The cover, the print quality, the paper, everything feels premium. I’m genuinely impressed and would highly recommend Milk.

The editing tool is so easy to use & one of the most intuitive & comprehensive I've found. It's simple to use Milkbooks own templates but has enough flexibility to adjust the layouts to fit your vision. I found the filters helpful to only see what photos I hadn't used yet & the layout checks were great to make sure I didn't misprint anything. It took me a while to figure out how to delete photos altogether & even on a large monitor it can be hard to zoom in as much as you might want. Not a big issue, but I struggled to edit complex pages with lots of smaller images on a smaller laptop screen. Overall really happy with the customisability, not just a cookie-cutter result but does mean more time consuming & more decisions to make!

Absolutely love the book I created for my wedding album. The quality is exceptional. The best wedding book I’ve seen. It was so customizable and easy to add pages. It is the perfect accent piece in my living room and can’t wait to show everyone who visits my house!
