Wedding favours

Purchased for my wedding but the quality isn’t as id expect for the price. Really disappointed. The print had rubbed off onto the other m and ms.

Poor Quality

Some of the M's were faded like the candy is old. I have previously purchased as gifts before with excellent results. This latest experience was terrible and disappointing especially how much you pay for them. I will not purchase these as gifts in the future.

Extra fees and taxes for parcel

They didn’t mention the products are shipped from where. When I order from website, it shows the price in pounds, and the contact also is a UK phone number. So I think I am ordering within the UK. However, it is not. A few days later, UPS emailed me and charge me fees and taxes for the parcel! If they state it clear in their website or warn me about the extra fees and taxes before I place the order, I won’t order from them. It’s just chocolate, and I can buy the normal M&M from supermarket rather than the special M&M, if I know there is extra fees and taxes before. And I think it is a misleading. It is because everything is showing I am ordering a product within the UK, not other countries!

We do have a consumer service for the UK. However, m&m's are made in France. As far as taxes are concerned, there's information on the website that says ‘cross-border regulations related to Brexit for individual customers’.

This company took payment for a…

This company took payment for a delivery, failed to deliver after a month because of problems with their paperwork at customs and then had the cheek to try and get us to pay their taxes before attempting another delivery. I certainly would steer clear of them if you don't want to be the next victim of the M&M scam

Hidden taxes

they removed a tax on the final bill, and then the same amount of tax was added again by the courier but with added brokerage fee so I ended up paying nearly twice as much in taxes than it would've been otherwise

We regret to inform you to you do have to pay the VAT to the carrier in order to receive your package. As stated on our website, for individual customers, due to new cross-border regulations linked to Brexit:

• For orders with an amount of more than £135 (excluding tax and shipping), mms.com doesn't collect VAT. You will have to pay it directly to the carrier.
In addition, you will be charged (min. £12.20 or 2.5% of the value of your order) for customs clearance directly from the carrier.

Since your order amounts more than 135 £, it does fall into this category. The VAT will have to be paid by you.

These are rules designed by the European Union and the UK and, as such, we have no authority over them. We are sorry about this inconvenience.

Bespoke M&Ms colour and wording fading

Ordered bespoke M&Ms for our company cookies - these looked great for approx 3 months. After that the colour and wording faded and deemed useable. M&Ms customer service was below expectations for such a great produce. M&S said there was an 8 month life span which was not the case (even though they were stored correctly) so I suggest if you get a bespoke produce you use them as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we were not able take any action in your case seeing as your complaint regarding the quality of our products has arrived more than 15 days after the delivery of said products. It is specified in our terms and conditions that any such complaint must arrive within three days of delivery, which we extend to 15 days in order to better our service.

45 euro hide customs fee

I ordered goods costing 120 euros, including 15 euros in shipping costs, and two weeks later I received an invoice for 45 euros in customs duties to be paid.
When I asked for an explanation I was told that the tariffs are on the website ( somewhere, not yet found honestly ).
I think if there are these costs they should be clearly visible when ordering.
Attention Swiss customers.

The factory is in France so, for deliveries to Switzerland, our prices are displayed without taxes. For these orders, upon delivery, you will have to pay to our carrier, custom duties and custom clearance fee (min 22.80 CHF or 2.5%) and Swiss VAT.

Disappointed customer

I bought a bag of m&M's peanuts I only got seven m&m peanuts inside the bag I was very disappointed. I have been eating peanut m and M's for a long time. I was very disappointed.

personalised m&ms

page slow, didn't work in incognito mode, reset password - no email received for at least an hour, then did it without logging on.
but once not in incognito mode it worked fine, very nice designs. 10 Euros for standard shipping is a bit much, though.

design you own m&m not so great

Package didn't arrive and trying to solve this on relevant time by contacting customer service didnt work since they don't respond. After paying a considerable sum for a designed M&M gift with expedited delivery I got no package and no response. the interface is very good for creating the product, yet there are hidden costs , like delivery. there is no dirrect correlation between the details on the site and the final purches process. also there is no in store pickup- even more so the
