We travel with dogs. Motel 6 are pet friendly. Always clean, good parking. quiet, and great service at the desk. Low price compared to the competition. Great value if you are budget oriented. Safe, clean, great locations. Been dealing with them for OVER 20 years.

Perfect room for a good price. Having the kitchen was a big plus for us. We enjoyed being able to cook some during our family trip. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable of the city. Loved it!!!

The room was filthy
The room was disgusting, and smelled in the bathroom. There were two full size beds instead of a single king size bed. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. There is no remote for the TV set. The room is roach infested, mold on the walls and bathtub area, the toilet doesn't stop running water, there's damage to the toilet roll dispenser and the wall above it, and there's an odor coming from it. The mirror is so dirty that it does not reflect. I have pictures of all the rooms problems

No towels or toiletries in room. Office called us about our dogs barking but did nothing over other dogs barking in the rooms next to ours. Never received security deposit back.

Pricey for what you get
I'm normally not overly critical of Motel 6 establishments due to their simplicity and low cost. But in this case, the cost did not justify the simplicity. The price was high and rooms were very, very small. But in their defense, all the hotels in the Richmond, VA area were about that price ... but for a little bit more in price, I could have gotten a lot more hotel. I'll probably look elsewhere on my next trips to Richmond, VA.

Double check your booking.
Having stayed here multiple times over the last ten years on trips to and from NY state, its easy access from interstate, having a clean, comfortable room with wi-fi access, and a Golden Corral nearby makes this a reasonable choice.
But I mistakenly booked myself twice, and was charged as such. As a single senior, almost 80, this both disappoints and frustrates and frustrates me . Not very good for you reputation.

The San Luis motel 6 staff and facility…
The San Luis motel 6 staff and facility was outstanding , that being said the Morro Bay motel 6 was a true nightmare , staff , room , facilities were horrible , we could not lock windows, tub and shower had no safety pad ,I fell forward in the shower and caught myself before I hit the wall. Furthermore we advised the staff of all this and they banned us from any future stays ,it was absolutely ridiculous, we need you to reconcile this within your Motel 6 family I would gladly encourage you to contact me regarding this report!
