Avoid

No order received and website now says it’s closed. Having to go through credit card company to get money back.

Never got the item and have never had a refund!

I've waited weeks for the item to arrive kept on missing expected dates and could not guarantee when i may receive the item, so asked to cancel the order and get a refund, after chasing countless time over a month still not received a refund. Its a shame as you use to be a great company to deal with, but so many orders have taken too long to arrive now and an absolute lack of customer service you offer is appalling.

Very poor customer service but money finally refunded

Ordered some Metabo spare parts on 12th January 2026... still have not had acknowledgement and nothing has arrived. Phone goes through to 'Davina Miles' [owner??] voicemail but absolutely no response. Avoid I think ~ but would be happy to update this feedback if my parts arrive...
Several days have gone by.. no response from 'Davina Miles' who clearly believes it OK to take your money without contact or supplying the goods. Have now put in a claim via my credit card organisation.. a faff in itself these days.. following my update of yesterday this has prompted the company have refunded me on basis that they no longer hold these parts in stock... so not very helpful to have not kept their stocklisting up to date... a very poorly managed online business then rather than a fraudulent one in this instance but all in all one to avoid unless you are content to learn after nearly a month that they cannot supply ordered goods. I am sure many tool and machinery suppliers here in the UK can routinely do better than that.

ScambolicTook order 2 months ago and still nothing .......

Emailed their customer services who did call back and said stock would be in Mid January - (a Bosch charger). It is now almost February 2026. Miles Machinery simply advertise some products they do not hold in stock , make a lot of interest and cannot communicate effectively. Bordering on a Scam business....... Caveat Emptor - Buyer beware*

I purchased an item almost a month ago and still have not received it
Tried emailing recently with no reply and the phone just goes to answering machine
I am currently trying to get a refund via my credit card provider
I would not recommend using this company

I placed an order over a month ago. I have not received the order or any correspondence since.
I have left messages on their phone(which doesn't work), tried emailing, left reviews and not had any response at all.

Shambles

Ordered two of the same part for a chop saw guard ,it took over 2 months for my package to arrive so I open it and only one part was in there. On the paperwork was scribbled "one to follow" so its now been 98 days and still waiting. They told me on several occasions that "it was coming in this week and will be straight out" This company is a shambles. Have asked for a refund now as I am sick of dealing with them.

Don't bother.

Ordered something a week ago, no dispatch email, no contact, nothing. Just take my money and forget me.

They auto replied by email that it may take them 48hrs to respond. (They haven't responded)

The website is severely dated.

I thought I would deal direct with them as purchasing on eBay costs them money,

I had a good experience purchasing through their eBay store. I won't bother with this company again after this.

Don't waste your time... go else where.

Ordered a part in November... still no sign of it. Have tried contacting them by phone and email. The phone line just goes to a random voicemail and I haven't received a reply to my email. Have they gone into administration? Something very odd going on.

Will try to get a refund from PayPal.

Don't waste your time with this company... go else where.

Appalling/ Shockingly Bad Customer experience

Appalling customer service. Placed an order and paid in full £47. For parts in July 2025. Many calls to them answered politely and assuring on the case during 2025. Sent email to them asking what the situation was on 12 Dec. Got standard reply that would be back to me in 24-48 hrs but not to send any more as would go to bottom of queue. Nada since and now not answering the phone. Cads and Bounders springs to mind. Is it a scam? Is it straight forward theft? Is it mind blowing incompetence? Who knows? Have escalated through PayPal. But the main point is why are they behaving like this? Have looked into Mile Tool in Companies House. Family owned etc. Just borrowed /used finance money a week or so ago which is not unusual and all accounts/filings up to date. This is a family run business that is letting customers down very badly indeed.

Makita spare parts

I ordered Makita spare parts back in October 25. nothing arrived. I have chased up at least 4 times since, and although very polite on the phone I still have no parts. I requested a refund which they agreed to, but no money returned yet.
MTMC what is going wrong? Your customers are either very happy, or, like me very frustrated.

Ordered hose for vacuum cleaner

Ordered hose for vacuum cleaner. Told it was on order and would be sent once in stock. With multiple calls to company promising delivery later or the next week. No goods arrived and can’t get through to company as not answering phone. Ordered on 8th November 2025. Nothing. Avoid this company.

Awful communication, Huge delays

Placed an order just before Christmas for a power tool showing as in stock with Miles Tool & Machinery centre. I knew that the item wouldnt be shipped in time for Christmas, no issue at all there. I tried to contact MTMC between Christmas and New Year to check on progress and couldnt get through. I expected the parcel had shipped but would be caught up somewhere over the holidays. Tried multiple times to call, recieving a badly recorded voice message that the lines were closed, despite calling within the times the mnessage said lines would be open. Eventually got through to MTMC over three weeks after the item was purchased, to find out that there was no update to the order and it had likely not even been ordered into stock, let alone shipped to me. Multiple other reviews state the same issues, I shouldve looked at Trustpilot before placing the order. Found the item elsewhere for about £10 more, but actually in stock and with next day delivery. Cancelled my order with MTMC and will never attempt to use them again

The moral of the story; dont buy anything from MTMC. You'll be led into thinking the item is in stock when it isnt, and you'll waste a significant amount of valuable time chasing it up and missing work.

Customer service

Customer service was beyond exceptional due to a mixup with my online order the company as a whole went out of thier way to make sure I got the goods way before Christmas they kept me informed by email so thank you miles tools and machinery especially MEL your a asset to the company 👍
