A beautiful gift
Was looking for a specific soft toy and with the option to personalise and found it through My 1st Years. Was very easy to order and arrived within the time frame that was given. Was packaged well and came beautifully wrapped as was a present. The soft toy was very good quality and everybody loved it.

Always love my purchases from 1st…
Always love my purchases from 1st years. Bought my nephew his first ark and the wooden pieces are beautiful. Only small criticism, is that the items usually come in beautiful boxes and the ark was just a plain box, but that could have been my mistake as I may over have overlooked gift boxes. I am extremely happy overall with the product and prompt delivery.

I have bought quite a few items from My 1st Years and been very pleased with them but I was most impressed when I ordered the wooden play table. One of the pieces was broken but I made contact with Marie who immediately replied and then sent out a replacement part straight away. Very good service.

Not quite up to scratch sadly
Paid £19.39 including postage for Personalised Just Bee Kids Wooden Nesting Dolls (25/7 order for birthday today) and unfortunately the quality was not as I'd hoped. The woodwork is chipped and brittle and stiff to manoeuvre. I love the concept (and this brand in general, with several past orders/gifts) but this item is disappointing. It's too scruffy as an ornament or too awkward as a toy! Tried to review on the product page but couldn't find a way so sharing here.

Extremely disappointing
Extremely disappointing. I bought the Scoot and Ride scooter and helmet set in Ash colour, with the reasonable assumption that both items would arrive in the same colour. Upon recieving the order, the helmet was Grey and the scooter was Ash, two very different colours in person. When I raised the issue I was told that this was always the case as they don't stock the helmet in ash, which leads me to question why a "set" in Ash would ever be sold / misold on the first place. Communication has been very poor and contradicting, with sporadic replies and the issue remains unresolved. I am not asking for a refund or for any compensation, only for a perfectly reasonable exchange of the ash scooter to grey so it actually makes a matching set. Getting a reply and a resolution is like getting blood out of a stone.

The product is supplied to us by an external brand, and unfortunately, the set we’re provided with comes with the Ash scooter and Grey helmet. We appreciate that this isn’t clear enough when viewed as a set, and we’re sorry that this wasn’t made clearer at the time of purchase. We completely understand why you feel disappointed, particularly as you were simply looking for a matching set rather than a refund or compensation.
Looking at your case, I can see that our Customer Services team contacted you two days ago with instructions for a free return, but unfortunately we haven’t heard back from you since. We’d still be very happy to help, so please do get back in touch with the team and we can advise you on the next steps.

I have been ordering from My 1st years for the last couple of years. This time, we had ordered gifts for our friends’ kids birthdays and the parcel was unfortunately delayed. It was the first occurrence I have had with the company, however I dealt with Marie on email, and her support was beyond my expectation. She was very prompt and conscious of the inconvenience & immediately offered to make good on the delay by reshipping the order with express delivery as it got stuck on the system. Very grateful for the proactivity of the team, its very telling of the company and will continue ordering from them!

Unfortunately my parcel never arrived
Unfortunately my parcel never arrived. My 1st years are yet to reimburse me after their courier EVRI delivered to am incorrect address. So far their has been no accountability and I have been asked to provide a crime reference number by My 1st Years which is unheard of for a £30 approx order. Two weeks later and I have been left in limbo. Very disappointing as I have purchased from this company before andI have always been very happy. Sadly, a bad experience on this occasion

Disappointing from start to finish (although it’s still on going). Not only did the items arrive, there is also items missing. I was told the company would ‘check cctv’ and come back to me within 24 hours. Currently they are not responding to emails and it’s impossible to get them on the phone. They have essentially stolen from me. Avoid this company as they are nothing more than scammers.
