Excellent!

I can’t praise Dave and his team enough! From start to finish they were professional, tidy and worked hard and efficiently to build an outstanding porch. The workmanship is excellent and they always arrived at the time they stated, never late and constantly working and informing me of progress at every opportunity. The porch is lovely and the extension to the kitchen now makes it look so much lighter and spacious. Can’t thank Dave enough, so friendly and respectful of my property. Would highly recommend Dave in a heartbeat.

Receiving threatening letters over…

am receiving threatening letters over an invoice of just £18.

The lead they sent me was outdated, as the customer was no longer looking for labourers. I reported this to support multiple times and asked for the £18 invoice to be removed because the lead was false, but I received no proper response.

It has also been impossible to contact them directly by phone or email.

I would strongly advise anyone looking for work to avoid MyBuilder In my experience, they have been unprofessional, unwilling to understand the situation and instead of resolving the issue, they forwarded my details to a debt collection agency, potentially damaging my credit score over an unfair charge.

Very disappointing service. Avoid like the plague. costs.

High "Shortlist fees" for fake or dead leads

"Don’t be fooled by the high ratings. Most positive reviews come from homeowners who only use the app because it’s free and convenient for them. Most of them have no idea that their simple 'shortlist' click costs a tradesperson a significant amount of money.MyBuilder allows users to shortlist up to 5 tradespeople at once. While the homeowner pays nothing, the platform charges all 5 professionals immediately. If a lead costs £30, MyBuilder pockets £150 from a single post by selling the same contact details over and over again. It is far too easy for the platform to manipulate leads to maximize their own profit at our expense. They have zero incentive to encourage homeowners to be selective – the more clicks, the more money they take from us, regardless of whether we even get to speak to the client."

Scam platform avoid especially if you…

Scam platform avoid especially if you are a trader the company is very keen to take money from your account but does not refund or provide any assistance. Money is paid back as credit which is wasted by company sending you false leads and charging you for them. If the company had any decency they would not charge multiple traders for a single job lead which can only be completed by a single trader. A cash refund is an acceptable way to refund money to traders who most likely are struggling after running around to price jobs for your customers from your platform and to increase your chance to receive jobs and benefit the traders. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE TO DISREGARD TRADERS.
