I am blown away by the customer service received by this team. Rio was so polite, friendly & helpful. He went out of his way to resolve an issue not usually handled by his team. He truly made my day! Before I spoke with Rio on the phone I was being looked after in a help-chat by another member of the Customer Service team. They were also a huge help & went out of their way to assist me. 5 star customer service!

The carpark I regularly use had removed the pay on exit machines but unfortunately hadn't put signs up. The machine covers were still there, but unless you walk into the covered area, you don't realise the machines aren't there.
I arrived back at my car and started to panic.
The customer service chat (not a bot) was brilliant, they explained that although it's pay on entry on the app, I had until midnight that day to pay.
Obviously, clear signage at the car park would have negated the need to use customer service!

My wife has a blue badge, yet the system seems geared to make it as difficult as possible- hoping you end up paying the Gatwick Drop-off tax.
Firstly, the registration system will not accept photos (it says JPEGs are OK but they don't work). So use PDF if you can.
Secondly, each time you book a drop-off you need to upload a copy of your permit again!
Then, after the trip you are sent a bill for the drop off which you then have to call in to have cancelled.
20 minutes of agro just to get what you are entitled to.
And to make life more complicated, there are two different websites - one badged Gatwick with an NCP logo, the other NCP with a Gatwick section. Only the latter works.
Apparently they are working on improving it ... I won't hold my breath!

Sam was exceptionally helpful in dealing with a situation whereby I found myself unintentionally driving through the chargeable drop off zone at Gatwick Airport (having allowed myself to become stuck in the wrong lane). He was empathetic on learning the facts, checked registration (to confirm I hadn't actually been making a drop off) in just a few seconds, and I was on my way with the charge waived and reassurance there would be no further communication. If only all customer service interactions were this painless!
