Their prices for many of the products are not competitive at all. Most of them are at least 150% more expensive than on other sites. Do not resort to Newegg as the last option if you can not find the product you are looking for. It's not worth it, and you should wait it out and you can find a much cheaper alternative (Amazon, Canada Computers, Corsair...). Truly a mistake on me for purchasing from Newegg after I found out the products restocked on Amazon, spending $50 more. There are hardly any customer benefits. My issue could've been resolved with a price match, but they don't. Refunding is a hassle and for some reason, I don't get a full refund even though I chose the options with no fees. And if the package is lost in the mail, the loss is on you. Good luck with getting a refund. In conclusion, they just don't care about you nor the customer, which is an underestimated part of a tech company that should not be overlooked. TRUST ME. WHATEVER NEWEGG HAS, SOME OTHER PLACE WILL HAVE IT. DO NOT RESORT TO NEWEGG.

I have to do my part to let people know about how terrible the customer service department at Newegg Canada is. Attempting to make on online order resulted in payment decline. Newegg told me to phone my credit card vendor which I did. My credit card vendor told me that there is no issue with my card, limit, or anything else and that they can see that for some reason Newegg isn't recognizing me as an authorized client. I re-ordered my items 5 different times, 4 with payment declines. For some reason the 5th attempt worked. Newegg customer service still tells me that the issue is with my vendor despite the fact that the 5th attempt worked. My Credit vendor 2 different times assures me that there is no problem with my card and that there is something wrong with Neweggs end.
Speaking to customer service has NO satisfactory answer to why this happened. They just keep saying to call my vendor. They clearly don't listen to me when I tell them that my vendor on 2 occasions said to call Newegg and that it isn't the Credit vendors fault.

I purchased an MSI gaming laptop during the black friday sale of 2018. From the instant I received it there just seemed to be problems that shouldnt affect a gaming PC. Slow boot times, seeming inability to deal with multiple processes at once, etc etc. I was taking my finals at university around the same time, and then off to the UK for a month for the holidays. By the time I returned and resettled the warranty seemed to have expired.
From the getgo the HDD in the laptop was faulty. Some issues subsided when I installed a SSD. They refused to refund me for the faulty part.
Now to this day I am still having issues a little more than a year later. When the PC is plugged in it throttles the CPU causing latency to increase and games to crash. The graphics chips seem to be at constant odds with one another.
All newegg would do would redirect me to MSI - who werent helpful either and Ive left a similarly poor review with them as well. MSI offered to assess it for a fee despite constant faults from the start.
Now I have built PC's and can usually fix most of the issues I come across, but this is seemingly impossible and Im less than impressed with neweggs customer service involving this issue since I was experiencing problems from the start.

Newegg used to be good, they were by far my go to for computer parts online.
Over the last few years they've gotten worse and worse. I had a poor experience with a defective monitor that I had to RMA, rather than ship it back to newegg at my own expense.
However my most recent experience was by far ridiculous. I ordered some replacement parts for a server at work. We waited 10 days, and the seller still hadn't shipped. I contacted the seller, and no response for several more days. One look at the seller profile, and a ton of 1 star reviews for not shipping orders to customers.
I contacted newegg support, reported the seller, and obtained (after much hand wringing from newegg) a refund. Finally.
I go to look up the seller, and they're still selling parts on the Newegg site, parts that will never get shipped and likely don't exist.

System locked me out of cancelling the order. Then they took over 2 weeks to ship and deliver. Then refused to let me return it, told me that there was no way they could even exchange it. Followed up a day later and said I could return it I didn't open it like the previous rep told me to do to. Then repeatedly tried to get me to accept fault.

I recently purchased GiftCards through a marketplace of over $1,000 in credits. I made the purchase and my account was suspended right away for verification issues. A week later, I asked for an update and my account couldn't be unlocked. Including the loss of my Newegg Points and my account of a valued customer for a couple of years, I lost hundreds of dollars on the gift cards. I asked and chatted with no avail. The giftcard balances were not going to be returned to me and no information was disclosed to me due to "Security Reasons". Instead they suggested I make a new account and repurchase the items TO MY OWN ACCORD after being out of $1,000 in gift cards. I'm beyond livid and angry with not only the support, but the Webstore as a whole. I'll be deferring anyone from using Newegg from now on and will continue to give bad ratings.

About all the reviewers here , i think there is probably 1000 buyers who were satisfied for each negative review here. The thing is many people who are satisfied just dont feel the need to make a review. I decided to do one when i saw the awful score here. Great pricing. Fast shipping. I purchase all my computer hardware from this place. I been buying from them for years and could never find better or rarely. They usually have the same pricing or better than the other online computer stores. They have a good product selection. The only thing i could say is that if you buy something with a free gift like free games from AMD for example , it might take a long time to have them. This happened to me once but it might not always be a problem. Overall i highly recommend purchasing from Newegg. Dont be afraid about the bad reviews. This is a minority of people who had bad experience and some complain for no reason when its not even Newegg fault like a problem with a shipping company or a bad product. Newegg dont build the items , they sell them , and they are not a shipping company. I had to return an item once because defective and they refunded me everything. The return fee was free since they provided a return label. Many stores dont offer this. You can forget all the bad comments here and feel safe to buy from Newegg.

they refused to replace my newly purchased Gigabyte motherboard claiming that I have "bent the CPU socket pins" and that this was beyond warranty.
I have assembled many computers in the past and never had problems with CPU sockets. It's easy: You line up the 2 small protrusions on the socket with the 2 notches on the CPU, make sure the CPU lies nice and flat on the socket, and finally push the lever down gently and lock the CPU in place.
Upon returning the MoBo I did notice 2 pins bent (out of hundreds of them intact), but this could not have possibly been a result of mishandling since there would be a whole bunch bent; it was defective in the first place. I should have read their reviews before purchase!
I would use New Egg again

They shipped an item to me [via UPS], left it in a public area where it was probably stolen.
It was supposed to be signed for. Never got my signature, yet newegg refused to help, even though UPS will only respond to the seller.
A seller should not take 5 days to reply to an email, and should help when an item doesn't arrive.

I placed an order for parts to build a complete computer from this place. The order was shipped in four separate orders. It was expected that I would receive everything (from estimates in their store) by the weekend. This was an order for a customer of mine. I ordered on a Monday, the 17th, plenty of time to receive by Friday the 21st. Three of the items: case, power supply, and SSD were from sellers on NewEgg and all arrived by Friday. However, the CPU, motherboard, and memory were all from Newegg and shipped by that awful SurePost service (sure to be late). Tracking the shipment, I noticed that it left their warehouse in California and was shipped all the way across the United States to Philadelphia before returning toward the Central US, 2300 miles out of the way. Then, the package is sitting in the major local hub (25 miles away from me) since Friday the 21st. They are "estimating" the delivery by Tuesday the 25th. Four days for a delivery 30 minutes away.
This is not the first time I have encountered this from Newegg, but it will be the last. They cannot be trusted to get purchases to you in a reasonable time. I ordered a computer fan from Amazon on Thursday the 20th and it is arriving today (22nd) and I don't have Prime and it is free shipping. Newegg, learn from Amazon. It's why they are kicking your butt.
Another thing that irritates me is their phony chat support system. I used it the first time I realized the package was not on schedule and a female by the name "Asia" appeared in chat with a photo of a pretty blonde woman. Nice, I thought, very personable support. Then a few days later when my order had not arrived, I used the chat again, but there was a different name this time yet the exact same photo as before. Obviously, they are outsourcing their support to India or somewhere and pretending they are here. It's a further indication that Newegg is not concerned for the customer. To add insult to injury, they offered me $4 back to compensate for my order being four days late. I'm sure my client will be thrilled to hear this.

Been using Newegg Canada since it's inception and was a customer of Newegg before they branched out. Never had any issues with orders, even got rebates if something I bought went in sale the same week by contacting customer service. Only qualm is their prices aren't always the lowest, but that's why you shop around.

We ordered a laptop in early November 2018. We were entitled to a 100.00 rebate. We submitted the necessary paperwork in time. In late February I contacted Newegg to get the status of rebate only to be told it was submitted too late. It was sent a week before the deadline. I was then told it would be reprocessed and every time I check I get a runaround. Very disappointed. I gave them 1 star because 0 wasn't available.

When live chatting with CS on this issue - there was no resolution and was told to just cancel my order when it was a neweggs mistake and i should be getting what was showing on the ad. I was told i will hear back in a few days and hope i can get what was stated at the same cost for neweggs mistake. I also have screen shots and links of both places to locate the ad if required.
