Avoid rebated products

The actual store and merchandise is OK, but don't buy anything with a rebate, this involves shady third-party rebate companies and you will most likely never get your rebate from them.

They kept pushing toward fraud

They kept pushing me into committing fraud.

Had to return a motherboard and they asked me to wait for purolator to come and return it to the warehouse.

-Had my replacement early, however purolator never came.

-I've been asked to keep a broken cardboard box for a month in my house. (Forced)

-I've been asked to send the motherboard IN the broken box. (Can't use another one)

-Now I need to ship the motherboard myself, pay for a new box at my fees, contact support that extended my rma without my permission just to let them know I'll ship it, then I have to extend the rma because it WILL expire still.

-No transparency, no contact between supports. No follow up with a brain cell (Follow up is always an unrelated issue)

-Staff almost canceled the rma and kept asking me to end the procedure. However that's committing fraud.

-Chat support use excuse such as "Lost internet" // Takes over 30 minutes to a a reply back.
They don't read anything or look for anything, they can't do much and doesn't know either.

- No french support, for newegg.ca, its not even legal.

The famous newegg, GREATLY lowered the quality of its service, almost becoming the dead tigerdirect.ca from the past.

PS:Even if I let newegg know, - It doesn't change the poor service and dumbed down support.(Also no compensation as been offered in 6 1h long chat support, even thought the employes made a ton of mistakes.
(I believe newegg is frauding purolator, my motherboard is DOA due to testing at asus, but they pushed and forced me to say its purolators handling of the box.)

Terrible & incompetent, not worthy for a chance

I am a new customer with NewEgg. And my experience with them is catastrophic.
I ordered a tablet on 2020/09/09 and got it on 2020/09/10, but it was the wrong item. They shipped a bleu one instead the black that shows on the order. I called for a replacement, and I followed your return procedure to return the item. I called for a followup about the replacement a week later, and the agent processed my return as a refund with the wrong amount. I called again, and another agent refunded my the amount missing and helped me to replace another order. However, she charged me with a much higher price than the initial one I ordered. I had to call again, and I waited for 30 minutes to talk to someone. That agent spoke to me for 2 minutes and she said she would check something for me, but she never came back to me.
Please do not order anything from them.

why do you feel the need to scam people on old tech, the ....ASUS RAMPAGE IV EXTREME LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard... you have for 687.00,, was sold in 2014 for 350 tax included

i bought mine NEW,,, not referb.... from canada computers in 2014 for 350.00 tax included.. and you guys want 700.00 for old tech that came out 7 years ago... that goes for the asus sabertooth x79 878.00... i bought new for 370.00 tax included,, i own both still, and cant believe you mark up the price 300%

BUYER BEWARE

I was missing the wireless receiver from the wireless mouse and keyboard combo I ordered. Newegg acknowledged that I should have received it but refused to do anything to fix their mistake. Newegg refused to send the missing part. They would not refund or replace the combo. Told me it was my responsibility to buy a replacement. They ridiculously offered to let me ship the combo back to them without replacement or refund. No better than thieves.

Bad experience with Newegg.ca This company is a scum

horrible experience with Newegg.ca
they refused to refund money, that I have "bent the CPU socket pins" and that this was beyond warranty.
I have assembled many computers in the past years and I'm admin for a big company. and never had problems with CPU sockets. It's easy: You line up the 2 small protrusions on the socket with the 2 notches on the CPU, make sure the CPU lies nice and flat on the socket, and finally push the lever down gently and lock the CPU in place.
Ifyou want to buy , buy from other retailer online.(Amazon)

Newegg has adopted the same 3rd party…

Newegg has adopted the same 3rd party seller strategy as Amazon so you don't know who the seller is, where they are located or who you are left to deal with. I don't need Newegg or Amazon to buy products from sellers who are located in China, take more than 2 months to get the products and at a higher price than Aliexpress. If I want to buy from Chinese sellers, I buy direct from Aliexpress as most of the sellers are in China and resell the same products at a higher price and that creates all kinds of issues. Aliexpress does not pay the seller until after the product has been received and the buyer confirms receiving it. I'm done with both Ebay and Amazon although Ebay isn't far from crossing of my list of do not buy from. One seller on Ebay has taken almost 6 months to provide a refund which I'm still waiting for.

No longer what I knew from Newegg and very bad surprise!

I recently ordered a UPS from a merchant on the Newegg's Marketplace and I thought I had a good deal... It soon turned into such a nightmare I just don't know where to start from in explaining what happened after I placed my order. Well, I will try to give here the clearest desciption. First, the merchant shipped my parcel with Canada Post, wich forced me to pick it up at post office due to the Crown society decision not to deliver home ( whereas private courrier companies do it normally ) and since I have a heart failure condition, I had to pay a person to escort me there - after paying 31.99 $ in shipping fees! Now, once at home with my parcel I discovered that the merchant fobbed me with the old version of the UPS whereas the merchant on his Marketplace page put the picture of the NEW model to attract eventual purcahsers... This is defrauding people already! But to avoid all those troubles to ship back the unit I accepted a partial ( cheap one considering the dishonnest behaviour of the merchant! ) of 35.00$... But the refund never came! And newegg pretend that the fact I opened a dispute on PayPal website prevent them to issue the refund, which is totally false: I already been in that situation with another online seller and the money came right back! Needlees to say this is my last purchase either Newegg themselves on any merchant on their Marketplace. Never again!

Just like most of the other reviews

Just like most of the other reviews, which I wish I read before giving these scammers my money. There are so many other companies out there that offer the same products, same pricing but way better service. They charged me right away but after 2 weeks, my order had not even left the warehouse. When I contacted them, they just said they have up to 15 days to deliver. I urge anyone reading this to not waist any of your money with these clowns.

Add another bad review, won't help with a lost/never delivered item that's now more than 40 days late.

Add another bad review, I've ordered sporadically in the past and had a good experience, this case I ordered a blade for Cricut maker from one of their vendors. Canadapost tracking came quick, showed that it was on it's way, great! After it was a week late and no tracking updates, I contacted the vendor "on holidays back in 3 weeks." Ok not happy, but middle of COVID lockdown, so I'll be patient. 30 days later, no delivery, contact customer service who says vendor needs to respond in 2 days. Never did, file a claim, am told vendor is out of business, but can't refund me because tracking shows it was shipped (even though it was 37 days late.) So I open a ticket/claim with Canadapost, a week later, they contact me to tell me it's lost and Sender needs to open a claim. Contact Newegg, no response, contact them again, get same canned response that nothing they can do because it's shipped and on it's way (even though I forwarded them the response from Canadapost.) What an absolute joke, I'm also an online ecom retailer, direct and 3rd party through another platform, my customers would have never been handled like this. Thankfully it was only $60, and now ordered somewhere else my 3 year old son just had to wait 2 months for me to make him a puzzle. I will never buy from Newegg again, and hope my credit merchant may take care of me with a chargeback claim.

never buy from them. Been waiting for a refund because of an article that did not arrive for a month when they said it would take only 1 week. The worst customer service and items. Never buy from them. 100% recommend BestBuy or Canada Computers for better support and has the same items. 0/10
