Never had any issue with newegg.ca …

Never had any issue with newegg.ca directly. They ship fast, the prices are usually better then most others places (even amazon.ca) and support is fine. Items are always well packaged and in perfect condition. I rarely buy from the marketplace except from well reviewed local vendors.

Not refurbished Logitech sound system sold as... refurbished !

I just read Newegg.ca's return policy which is only done when necessary. The reason I did read the return policy was to find the guidelines for a return of material still under guarantee. The material consisting in a Logitech - z533 Multimedia Speakers (3-Piece system) - Black [Certified Refurbished] that had not been properly, if ever, refurbished to the extent that the black subwoofer jack did not work. In other word, the Logitech sound system was sold to me in the very same conditions that had taken it out of the market place : DAMAGED.

Now, I find myself disqualified for consumer services to have my sound system finally repaired for the simple reason that I failed to keep the original packaging ! Which leaves me with a useless 10-days old system and a ton of deception for having been let down, plus the strong feeling to have been cheated.

A great way of making returns nearly (to be confirmed 1 month later) impossible

You think you will get a free game with the purchase of the component, which is a nice incentive to purchase it.

Before returning the component, which was defective, I obtained a partial refund amount quote on the value of the component MINUS the value of the free game. I contacted new egg and they agreed to refund the *free game as well, which is very tricky to refund something free which was subtracted for your item value... make the customer looks stupid right?

They refunded the partial on the value and promised to refund the game later. This is not happening on their part, playing me around, meanwhile I keep buying more from them.

Please do not bite to this company lure.
You will be shuffled around by everyone, all their Cust rep, and their fake internal refund emails. Prepare to have a merry go round ride worth hundred of dollars in wasted time, wasted typing, wasted emails, wasted time to worry about your money new egg is not ready to refund without very serious trouble, or never will. Buying with paypal will also means less protection in this very case, the trick of sleeves is performed there and try to explain this to your CC after. Paypal *supposedly resolution of the case is also pathetic.

Great service great tools

Newegg will be a continued source of my shopping needs. They are always willing to help out with your order and questions. Just recently something had gone wrong with my order. All I needed to do was call them and, without hesitation, they fixed the issue perfectly. Great customer service and great deals too!

They are misleading description of …

They are misleading description of product. I created case and inform first day of delivery, then send them back box. They refuse Refund full, offered cut %15 of full amount illegally.

I push them with Consumer Law examples, they accept full refund. Next day I receive notification email for send me another product as replace without informing me.

I told them, don't send me another one, just send my money back as you confirm.
they lose wrong package on the way, and now not sending money back to me, more than 1 month passed.

they are acting customers as foolish.

I just bought a Nvidea video card for …

I just bought a Nvidea video card for my sons 14th birthday. I am not a tech person so buying this type of product isn't exactly my forte. I did buy the wrong item, and my son wasn't too thrilled with me. However, the exchange process and return was easy. I was able to speak with a customer service rep. His name was Clark, and he didn't make me give him a reason or story as to why i needed to make a return, I just processed the information. I really appreciated his help. I will use newegg again in the future

Disallows negative reviews to potentially scam users.

Started noticing a year ago and it seems every single negative review is no longer being allowed to be posted, you'll know what I mean when you go and find a bad product to leave a bad review on and see it never appear.

I recently bought four CPU fans and three of them died within the first two months which showed how bad the quality was.

After looking around at two other hardware selling websites both of them were FILLED with negative reviews and general rating was 1 star. Yet somehow NewEgg reviews had them at a 4/5 average with 34 reviews total and only one negative review.

So I wrote a negative review and I checked back 1 month later and guess what, it wants me to write a brand new review of the same product. (This is a common thing if you search about it, and it's been caught happening multiple times very easy to search for)

I've spent well over $7,500 in the last five years alone and since it seems somewhere in 2016 they've given up on treating paying customers with respect.

Since they don't care enough about me being allowed to post my own negative reviews of bad products to warn other people I'll be moving onto some other online hardware selling website to buy from instead in the future.

Never a Problem.

I have built many computers over the years using newegg.ca I can honestly say, it has always been a great experience. I always save money, and every package has come damage free and on time, or early. I have ordered from newegg over 50 times and every time was good like this.

It's not worth the money you "save"

Waited two and a half hours with 6 people in queue ahead of me.

Ordered a new graphics card from NewEgg.ca along with other components from other suppliers for a work station upgrade all slated (and stated) for delivery on Tuesday.
Orders were placed Saturday, shipping from Ill and NJ.
Everything BUT the NewEgg item arrived on Tuesday.
Wednesday evening I contacted NewEgg and find out that not only did they not give me the correct tracking number, they don't even know where my package is.
To top it off, the sales form actually changed my chosen method of shipping from "Express" to "Standard" because quote
"Since we can have your package reach you by ground within the “Express” time limit, your shipping method has automatically changed to the less-expensive method." Something that the customer service rep (no offense to them) knew nothing about. I went back and duplicated the prompt with the same result.

Not impressed. I'll use the money I "saved" with a merchant that will allow me to expedite and track my parcel next time.

I ordered a smartphone from newegg.ca on Nov 5, and I constantly checking the tracking number of Purolator to know the whereabout of my order. For 3 days, all the tracking number said its in.transit. One day I came home late, I noticed Puralator just left the package on the steps just outside of my house. Luckily, I picked up the without any issue. But I was concerned why newegg and Puralator decided to just left a 600 dollars item outside of a house. So, I wrote an email to customer service and told them the story, and ask them if my smartphone was stolen because its was left outside my house, who is responsible for the lost and will I incurred any cost. I thought it would be a very simple questions.. All I got were answers not relevant to my questions or evasive answers. After about 10 emails back and forth repeating my questions, I am still not getting a straight answer. So, I came to conclusion that this is not a company I like to deal with therefore I will not be a newegg customers in future and so are you. If I can't even get a straight answer from a simple question, how can I have the confident with newegg.ca when I do have a real problem.

Worst expeirence ive ever had

I had placed an order with Newegg.com based on its popularity on the internet and some gaming websites. I placed an order for over $500 worth of computer parts. One of the components of the order was "DEEPCOOL CAPTAIN 240 water cooler" when opening the box it was filled with water and is leaking. I could not place a return because this item is no longer in stock and says it may not be stocked again. Thinking that newegg was ran like a company i thought they would let me send it back and either issue me a store credit or send me a part of equal value (I live in RHODE ISLAND this place in CA) which means it would take 2-5 business days to arrive to them and then take the same amount of time for RMA to look at this part and then process the refund through another department. Is this place ran out of a someones garage where i cannot be issued credit or sent something of equal value ? Will this company take a big hit on doing right by the customer ? I gave you the money you sent me faulty equipment and now i have to wait about 3 weeks ? Where in the world does this make sense ? Obviously with someone like this happening and the Manager just keep telling me she cant help i requested to send everything back and no longer do business with them i have to pay restock fee's ? Who's paying me for the 3 weeks im without my money i gave you ? Never do business with this company stick with Amazon / Microcenter / or tiger direct this company is a JOKE!

Quick and Easy

I ordered a ZTE Axon 7 after deciding that an iPhone 4s wouldn't do it anymore, and Newegg.ca made it easy. At first I was nervous after reading reviews here, but it all worked out great! All costs were outlined in the shipping proceedures, and the item arrived on time. No messing about with it being in stock when ordered but delayed because it was "Out of Stock" when finally shipped. I'm not saying this doesn't happen to people, but I think it gets slightly exaggerated because people tend to only write reviews when they're angry about poor service. Just my two cents.

Absoute trash customer service/Changed MY Mind Thankyou Newegg.ca

Warning DO NOT PURCHASE USING INTERACT ONLINE. Purchased or try to purchase product. After placing order via online. They took my money for purchase via interact online payment. Then sent me email.2mins later telling me said item is no longer in stock. Then another email telling me that they will refund my money in 3-5 business days. Really just took my money oh btw item not in stock and will keep for money for few days maybe more. That's 404.78 straight out of my bank account. You tell me why they took my money in the first place if it is out of stock. Then keep it for 3-5days why???? so I contact them now I'm out 404.87 till they feel like giving it back. can't even got buy it some where's else till I get my money back..So buyer beware when buying anything from Newegg. Using interact online payment. Prepare to lose your money for awhile.

I would like to have a supervisor contact you back within the next 24 hours to further assist available? Newegg did contact me with in the 24 hour period. They where very polite and understanding.my money was returned to me with in approx. 30hrs.I felt they really did care about my level of service so Thank you Newegg.ca. I come to realize that interact online transaction's is broken in general. There should be some safety measures in place to prevent this form happen that goes for both sides. Ordered a computer a week ago, paid for express shipping, but purolator still doesn't have the package

I ordered a computer from them on 4/28/2016. I paid extra for express international shipping ($20.76). On July 1st I received an email stating that my order has been shipped. Well, I have been checking with Purolator every day, twice a day, and they still don't have any knowledge of this shipment. Its now July 5th. How can it be considered shipped when the tracking number doesn't work yet? Are they expecting me to accept that Purolator is at fault?

I used the online chat yesterday to attempt to resolve it. Will.F informed me that I should check today with Purolator to see if they have it yet. They don't. So now what? Where is my package? Why did I pay for express shipping on top of suppressed shipping? I could have driven to whatever warehouse and back a few times already since this was ordered.

UPDATE: The item was received in perfect condition an hour after I posted this review. There was also a postage strike at Canada Post during this exact time. So, the only real issue was a lack of information about the status of the order, and the Purolator tracking number could not be used to track the shipment. The shipment arrived before Purolator activated the tracking number. Next time I order from NewEgg, I will anticipate 7 to 10 days to receive the item, but its sure would be nice if it was faster.

I made an account just for this. Don't ever pay by interac online with Newegg

I made a purchase at newegg.ca on May 10th using interac online for a projector that was indicated as IN STOCK. Today I received an auto-notification that my order was cancelled, but no info as to when/how I would be refunded. I had to contact them directly to get an answer and I was told the order was cancelled because it item was suddenly not in stock and I would receive a cheque for my refund BY MAIL in 2 to 3 business days (which we all know is bull). So I will be refunded a week or possibly longer for a payment that was made INSTANTLY. I find this completely unacceptable this day and age. I was actually going to make another purchase today before I received the auto-notification. Buyer beware. Don't pay by interac online with Newegg if you want a prompt refund. Now I need to be checking my mail to make sure I get refunded. Damn you Newegg...you ruined my day.

Misleading description and poor quality accessories

Purchased this pc desktop for $400 advertised as a wifi desktop computer just to find out it's not but rather they threw in a $5 usb wifi card, very misleading also the mouse and keyboard included are of the cheapest quality and not usable so ended up in the garbage, I ended up buying good quality card and mouse and keyboard out of my pocket, could have done better job than misleading consumers will never buy from again, we are a business and continuously buy products, will switch to more reputable supplier.

False Advertising

I was in the market for a certain computer case, visited newegg.ca, added item to cart and then went looking on the net for coupons, better deals etc... While browsing I saw the same case for a lower price in an ad by newegg.ca

When I clicked on the ad, the price of the case was still higher. I contacted newegg twice and asked them to match (honor) the ad price. I received a generic response both times - ignoring the price match request.

Targeted ads to drive customers back to the site is okay but at least have accurate pricing or honor the ad price.

Worse on-line service DO NOT BUY FROM NEWEGG

I bought an unlocked phone on Dec 27,2015. The order was processed on Dec 28,2015 (Monday) and my credit card charged and shipped. On the website it mentioned a shipping tracking number will be emailed when product is shipped, I waited until Jan 4, 2016 and no email appear. I contacted the custom service via Live Chat waited for over 45 minutes. They told me that they will contact the shipping and will update me via email. Email update received on the next day and to my surprise they rejected my order due to a mismatch in my shipping address. My Billing address stated as Street and shipping address stated as St. Postal code, house number, street name, city and province are identical. I contacted custom support via Live Chat again and on hold for 30 minutes. They said they will refund in full to my credit card and it will take 3-5 days. First of all, they took 1 day to charge to my credit card but it'll take upto 5 days to process a refund? Their excuse was it will have to be approved by accounting and the bank processing time that they have no control over. REALLY!
At the end I got my refund on Friday January 8, 2016. I went to NCIX online on Friday, got approved on a price match and the product has arrived in the warehouse where I lived. It'll be deliver tomorrow (Monday). I will get the same phone from NCIX with the same price from Newegg.ca without the DELAYS and REJECTED by Newegg.
Advice to Newegg, continuing your reject practices. Good Bye.
I'd have rated Newegg with a negative star rating if it's available. Some comments on other rating site called them Rottenegg. It fits the attitude and business practices perfectly.
