This is a complete scam company

This is a complete scam company. They initially began as part of a crowdfunding campaign, and after the crowdfunding period was over failed to deliver to the majority of their backers. A sizeable quantity of the very limited number of customers who finally received bikes (usually after frequent delays), have reported severe engineering issues that have made their bikes borderline unrideable.

Almost all the backers already received their bikes, except the one that requested a refund. While most of the crowdfunding campaigns do not offer refunds anymore, we're still offering refunds and we're trying to refund your order for more than a month now but you're not going to give us your account information.

All the issues have been addressed two years ago and currently, there is no known issue on the Homie model. We'd be happy if you can find even one and share it with us. As many customers know, we're always been there for them when customers need us to solve an issue, and in fact, many issues have been solved with their help.

I received an PRIME in pearl blue

I received an PRIME in pearl blue, it is very nice and wonderful. I do wait to day for an workaround of the speed and wheel changes. The problem are the new BAFANG motor. It is an CAN-Bus type and not as early an UART-Bus type. I hop that this great problem for mi can be soon done. In switzerland and also in EU, this type of E-Bike may be only max. Speed 25 km/h!

The long-awaited Nireeka Prime has just arrived!

It took six months to deliver the Nireeka Prime. Along the way, there was a problem with Nireeka's gateway in receiving my payments, and I had to charged back and paid again, so it took extra time to deliver. Perhaps it has something to do with Nireeka's headquarters relocation from Dubai to Canada at this time. I was very anxious about this trouble, but I am grateful to Nireeka's support staff for their polite response. I am very happy with the performance and design of this bike. I'm looking forward to riding with my bike in the future.

Back in Oct 2020 I paid in full for a Nireeka Homie, after more than 7 mos of getting the runaround from Nireeka, I cancelled the purchase and it was only thru a claim w/ my banking institution that I was able to get a refund (Nireeka claimed their "Gateway" was unable to refund any money). While I was still waiting f/ Nireeka to deliver the bike, they offered to ship along w/ bike a backpack f/ only $99, long story short, I have yet to receive a backpack or a refund f/ this item. This company is petty and since they were unable to rip me off for the price of the bike they settled f/ a mere $99. Beware of this scam.

The Prime

The Prime I purchased has been great. I have been riding everyday to work for the last month with no issues. I originally bought for a beach cruiser but I have taken on the trails and it handles very well. The one I purchased has no suspension but was surprisingly agile on the trails due to the fat tires and carbon fiber frame. I would recommend the prime for anyone looking for a great all around bike. I also purchased the larger motor and battery. I weigh 280 libs and had no problem on the biggest hills.

Nireeka stole my money

Nireeka is flat-out stealing my money

No bike after months of delays and excuses. No refund either despite multiple requests. Company no longer responds to me or does so with the vaguest of generalities e.g. “Our operators are reviewing your comment.”
Crap like that. Their posted phone number in Dubai is bogus. Try it yourself.
I have reported Nireeka to my credit card company and given a police report. Don’t get duped like I did.

Wasn't sure at first

I've been a cycling enthusiast all my life and was a bit wary of trying or possibly even making a permanent switch to the electronic biking world. The ads and reviews got me interested and from my experience with it so far, I absolutely love it! I may be getting a bit lazier with less peddling but I'm definitely having more fun!

Holds up well

I've had multiple electronic bikes in the past and most of them come up with some sort of issue within the first month of using it. Pleasantly surprised these ones are as good as new after using them for a few months, so it's definitely been good value so far.

One of the best motorized bikes

Im telling you, these are the best motorized bikes you can get your hands on! Coming from a person that owns more than 10 bikes of these kind, I can attest to these bikes' unmatched quality! Very stable and built using materials you usually find on bikes well over this price range.

Opened a whole new world for me

I just learned to bike last year and I just hated uphill rides to the core. I'd always struggle real bad. So much so that I was even considering buying a motorcycle instead. Happy to say that I found this website before I made my purchase. Very happy that I bought a Nireeka instead of a motorcycle! Saved me dollars and the ride is nice and smooth

Scam Artists

I previously wrote a review about the Nireeka company’s bad communication and poor customer service as you can see further down (Kristina Castellano). While I am a paying customer of Nireeka, they flagged my review, clearly because it called them out on their BS. I had to provide proof of my order and payment (which I did) so my review wouldn’t be removed. I’m using a different email for this review since my original review is “being assessed” and it won’t allow me to review again. Because of this I’ve been looking through the reviews and I’ve noticed some more scam artist behavior from this company. If you read all the negative reviews, hours later there seems to be a positive review refuting those negative reviews. Both myself & my partner mentioned poor customer service and bad communication in our reviews before. After ours, there is coincidentally reviews praising the company’s “really nice customer support”. I also mentioned in my previous review that “for the money spent on it, to continue having issues, I find the bike is not worth it.” Now there is a review entitle “Worth Every Penny”. I’ve notice another upset customer (Chris Hawkins below) placed a review today talking about the dangers of the Nireeka bike he purchased and the problems he has with the company’s customer service. You can even see that a Nireeka representative RUDELY commented back to him, proving their poor customer service. Yet again, coincidentally after Mr. Hawkins review, there is a positive review BSing about how the “bikes are really sturdy”. These positive reviews are clearly coming from fake accounts made by the company to draw less attention to the TRUTHFUL negative reviews. You’ll even notice all the newer “positive” reviews are “Verified” yet no reviews were ever verified previously. And you know who chooses if a review gets verified?? The company. This company is a scam. In my previous review below I mentioned all the problems my partner & I are having with this company including waiting for a replacement frame to ship out and not getting answers from the company regarding an update. I wrote that review almost a month ago and the ONLY response we’ve got since then was that the frame still isn’t ready even though a month prior we were told it was just being painted & would be ready for shipment. Total scam. Total lack of respect for paying customer. Total waste of time and money.

UPDATE/Reply to comment below(4/14/21): No, I have the email from trust pilot stating “wwww. nireeka. com has flagged your review because they don't believe you've had a genuine experience with them” so good try buddy. I also do not have “3 reviews”. My partner made her own review under her own account. You guys rudely commented back to her disregarding the issue she’s having with you so I made MY OWN review explaining the FULL story. That’s ONE review from me prior to this one. And that ONE review was flagged. The only reason I created a second review is explained above. You flagged my review, even though I am a paying customer, stating you didn’t believe I have a genuine experience with you, even though I have provided proof. Your response to this review again just proves all my points about the company’s poor customer service. I paid you THOUSANDS of dollars almost a year ago for a bike that broke in a COUPLE WEEKS then you sent a replacement frame to the wrong address, blamed my partner even though there is proof of our address change, and STILL have not sent a new frame after telling us weeks ago that it was just being painted & would be on the way. You’re replying to my review about how many reviews I have & not helping or caring about any of the real issues I have with your screwed up company. I’m a paying customer who gives a crap how many reviews I write if I’m continuing to have issues with you. Keep proving my points for me man. Great job.

2nd Update (4/21/21): Still have received no word on my replacement frame but I came back for an update regarding something else. Nireeka requested information from me once AGAIN to “prove” I’m a genuine costumer. I provided them with my order number and other information. From what I was told, as long as I provided the information, my review would become “Verified”. As you can see, my review was never verified. As I mentioned earlier/above I’ve noticed the only reviews being “Verified” are the newer “positive” reviews which are clearly fake and being posted by the company. They’re all of a sudden coming in plentiful at a faster rate than the company has ever had reviews before refuting all the negative reviews. This is clearly an attempt by the company to cover the negative reviews such as my own. Such f-ing scam artists.

3rd Update (5/24/21): Still not one word from Nireeka. They completely stopped answering and never sent my replacement frame

Nireeka is improving!

I posted a 1 star review and I’m updating it to reflect my most recent and vastly improved experience. It does take a very long time to get replacement parts and of course the bike itself, but Nireeka has delivered on their promises to me, because I finally received my replacement part, and now my bike (Prime) is perfect, with new and improved parts. Thank you nireeka for addressing the issue. I know you can’t control shipping delays due to covid and other issues with China and US customs. Thank you for being patient with me and dealing with my complaints. There is still some room for improvement with Nireeka, but I’m giving credit where credit is due. They’ve taken care of me.

Feels like living in the future

I love the minimal look of the bikes. At first glance, you wouldn't even think it had a motor. I absolutely love how these things are futuristic, yet don't demand a lot of attention. Discreet futuristic equipment is the way to go!

My favorite bike

I have 5 bikes at home and I rotate between them every other week. But since I purchase one of these bikes, my other bikes haven't been out of my garage for over a month!! I can't put my tongue on it but there's just something about this bike that makes it such a joy to ride

Great buy

I love the feel of biking, and I've always wanted an e-bike for myself. However, most ebikes out there look extremely bulky and cumbersome to use. Not this one though. I can confidently say that Nireeka Bikes will be the only e-bikes i'll be purchasing for not only myself, but for my family as well!
