North London Box Sash Reviews 

I couldn’t rave more enthusiastically about North London Box Sash if i was shouting it from our beautiful new sash windows! We had to get three sash windows replaced and I was dreading the disruption, mess and cost. But the whole process of getting our new windows installed with NLBS has been a dream: from my initial enquiries with Luke, who was very patient with all my questions and the time it took for me to commit, making a real effort to send me detailed information about their work, materials, energy specifications and past projects, which made me feel really confident about them from the beginning; to Mark who came over very swiftly to do the survey; to Henry and Przemek who came to take the old windows out and fit the new windows in. They were so respectful of our property, really neat and tidy, hardworking and efficient, and their work is beautifully seamless with a detailed eye, perfectly matching the new windows to the existing structure, and of a really high professional standard. The new windows are of premium spec quality, from the wooden frames to the glass in the double glazing to the opening/closing mechanisms and hardware, beautifully made and finished and it’s immediately noticeable how much more energy efficient they make each room. I now can’t wait to eventually get all our windows redone - couldn’t recommend highly enough.

North London box sash fitted our wooden double glazed sash windows recently. We have been very happy with the service from beginning to end. Communication has been excellent throughout via Luke, providing good continuity. The survey was booked in and carried out by Mark in good time. We received a detailed quotation quickly and were given an approximate fitting date so we could plan accordingly. Maciek and Przemek fitted our windows efficiently and were very clean and tidy. We had minimal cleaning and decorating to do once they had gone. We are really happy with the end result!

Extremely professional and friendly tradesman, with care and respect for your home whilst working in it and good attention to detail. They really do care about the finished product which was particularly important as we live in a conservation area with strict and tight criteria. We are very pleased to have upgraded our single paned window to a nice new double glazed window, like it has always been there. We will be back to sort the rest of our windows asap!

Luke, Mark & their team did an amazing job on our flat's sash windows. We live in a grade II listed building, making for a tricky & highly bureaucratic renovation. But the guys were very professional, efficient & patient helping to get paperwork & drawings ready & then in doing the job replacing four box sash windows. They look incredible. Poor communication wasting time then failed to actually respond with what was needed.

We went to North London Box Sash for a new front door plus shutters for the front room windows. Shutters work crisply and doors smoothly – very well constructed and expertly fitted, with a good guarantee on the door. Very satisfied all round.

This is the second set of windows I have had installed by North London Box Sash - the first job I had done last year was so good I saved up to get more windows done. Yet again, Luke and his team did a wonderful job. The windows really are beautiful. They make the room and the outside of the house look totally different - much smarter. Also, NLBS matched the exact architectural detailing of the original windows in our street. However, the main reason I love this company so much is that the team are so professional and friendly. They work in such an organized, clean and tidy way, they are on time and the communication is always great. I would not hesitate to recommend them. (PS They didn't ask me to write this review!)

I've posted this same review on Google as I read all the online reviews myself before deciding on this company and hope it's helpful to others. I'm so pleased I chose North London Box Sash to replace two sash windows in my small flat. After my initial email enquiry & photos Luke got back the same night with a quote and masses of useful information which helped with my decision making. Mark came over to measure up (and the initial quote was even reduced as one window was smaller) and was so friendly and helpful. Luke kept in touch on the fitting date and the fitter was excellent. The windows look fantastic and my flat was instantly warmer and quieter with the new double glazing and at last no more condensation to wipe away each morning. I wish I'd had them changed years ago. I highly recommend these guys!

We had two bays of three windows each installed over two days. The 3 man team that came were very pleasant to have in the house, very professional & experienced. The initial contact & conversations that gave the quotes was thoughtful & helpful, for example on materials & fittings.
The installation team covered everything that could be covered , the flooring & carpets were double covered!
We fueled the guys with lots of tea since they were a good bunch. We provided parking vouchers for the vehicles when they were here.
They had to remove 130 year old frames , producing much dust & old wood.
The finished product was great, good looking . Living in the two rooms that had windows fitted is now much quieter & obviously draught free. Wonderful!
The guys finished by clearing everything away, vacuumed up where they worked , left it pretty pristine.
We feel so good about the company that we have asked for quotes for one more bay window & a front door.

Spent a long time deciding who to go for and settled on North London Box Sash. We were giving local references before ordering and were impressed with their work. We had 10 windows fitted including a complex bay window with shutters which now fit (thank you) on a 4 storey house. The team were great - worked very cleanly and respected our house. NLBS are a great company to work with. As first-time renovators, we were nervous and cautious. They explained clearly all the parts of the process and made us feel comfortable. Redoing your windows is a huge decision, and it was important to us to work with trustworthy people. Luke was great at communication. The team that did the installation were fantastic - really friendly and hardworking. And the finished work is an excellent level. We couldn’t be happier.

Can’t recommend North London Box Sash enough! They replaced three windows for us, one being a bay window, and hand crafted the details beautifully. The quality is amazing, the finishes, the soft open and close, the glass on the double glazing! Also they were a real pleasure to work with, the measurement visit was quick and easy, and then the installation was smooth and surprisingly not too inconvenient during the works. They were professional and great vibes! Also our neighbours used them a few years ago and their windows still look in amazing condition!

We recently had 4 new windows supplied and fitted from North London Box Sash. The windows are lovely quality sash windows, with really nice fittings and great painting. What was even better was the quality of the work done by the fitting team, whose work was exceptional. They were always bang on time, very tidy and there was no mess whatsoever at the end of each day and they worked quickly 4 large sashes took 4 days, just as planned. We are extremely pleased! I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Luke was very helpful and knowledgable. Very happy with the quality of the work, and the team that installed the windows did their best to minimise dust and were happy to move a lot of furniture around. We had the whole front of our house done - a considerable investment - and we're very happy with the work.

Mark and his team did a fantastic job on our front windows. Mark came over and spent a good amount of time discussing options, reviewing other properties on the street and critiquing them. I have felt 100% confident that Mark knew what he was talking about and wanted to do a premium job. All of the communication was straightforward and the team arrived when they said the would.
