£100 charge for 3 minutes while dropping off the kids. The letter reached me more than 14 days after the alledged incident but none of this matters to One Parking Solution.

Do not wait to park outside Co op in…

Do not wait to park outside Co op in Hatfield as you will get a ticket. It was raining and I was new to area. Waited for parking space at Co op Hatfield for a few minutes as all spaces taken up but people coming and going. One Parking Solution have issued a £100 fine stating I parked, when clearly I was not parked but paused to use a parking space when it became free. My car lights remained on and I never left the car. Disabled bay was free but I didn't use this space as I am not disabled. This fine of £100 is is unfairly disproportionate to paying for an hour parking anywhere. This company are crooks! Co op Hatfield will be losing custom due to One Parking Solution not providing a solution but a headache leaving customers out of pocket!

having read the reviews on this company…

having read the reviews on this company gives me no hope of a review of my case , i was doing a taxi pick up in brighton on london rd the only safe place to pull over was in front of a store that was closed it was on 8th jan at 10 42pm , i was there for 8mins , a couple of wks later went on holiday and came back to £100 fine , letter says sent on 14th jan but didnt arrive by 20th jan when we went away so missed the 14 days had to pay full amount , it is money for nothing with these firms , all these negative reviews seem to count for nothing , brighton is a parking nightmare , and companies such as this do what they like ,

Ticket for waiting at barrier

Funny story really. Got a ticket for waiting for a barrier to open to get on to a construction site - claiming we were parked. They claimed the driver got out the vehicle so this means it was parked. None of the photos showed the driver leaving the vehicle, they did show a passenger get in the vehicle. Clearly quite incompetent as they are unaware which side the driver sits.

Despite appealing, they rejected it and doubled down on their belief the driver left the vehicle.

Went to IAS for a further appeal and then the claim changed to say if a passenger leaves the vehicle then this is still parking!

Luckily, the IAS concluded we were not parked and accepted it.

Word of warning, this company clearly will refuse any logic in appeals, probably just to wear you down. I would suggest they are not compliant with the BPA although not sure if they are a member anymore. This experience will be forwarded anyhow.

Go to the IAS and see the process through, that's your only chance of winning

They lead you to believe you can park…

They lead you to believe you can park at Victoria Rec Ground, Portslade for 2 free hours. Its right next to a park/bowls & breakfast place. so why wouldnt this be true? But not its not true. Their wording is very clever and misleading. All appeals will fail as Kirsten Dolan has set it up very cleverly. You cannot get hold of a real person. If you appeal higher it immediately goes up by £40 to £100. Come on council do your job and stop these lay abouts earning money for doing nothing other than renting land from you. DONT RENT IT TO THEM! Let parents go to park and fir breakfast!

I would give zero if it was an option

I would give zero if it was an option. They are a lying bunch of crooks with no customer service, I’m a local and it’s a beautiful place but honestly if there’s no where you park apart from the car park, seriously go to another beach!!!!

Private Car Parking companies just need to be fair and provide clear legible signage with the company name clearly displayed.

This private company leasing land from Brighton and Hove Council at City Airport Shoreham appear to set some motorists up to fail ...Their signage at City Airport in Shoreham is set back with tiny print that is not legible and is not obvious to motorists driving into the carpark. The owner does not put the name of the company on signage and motorists are unaware that the woman who owns the company, charges people from the roadside entering and exiting .
One parking solution appear to show no respect or empathy according to reports, to genuine appeals. They send out generic threatening , intimidating letters and historically tripled their invoice( fine) in 30 days to £170. This company and other private companies are a stark contrast to the government run council carparks, that have clear signage with large print stating who they are. .I was fined £170 for a 21minute delay ,attending to a distressed 3 year old child who was choking and sick. One Parking Solution wrote that they empathised, but rejected the appeal. I sent the £60 postal order to them in Worthing, but they returned the payment and asked for £170 with no legal authority . Their only focus appears to be extorting large fines, by sending out their threatening letters ,with the apparent goal to try and intimidate people into paying up. They involve a second company to send letters (ZZPS.) persumably with the excuse this escalates the fine.!...this company confirmed that they do not take people to court .
Listening to bbc4 podcast on Private Car Parks 14.01.25...I heard that people feel percecuted by the private car parking companies...one was an 84 year old disabled man, that was harassed for a year for a genuine mistake with the ticket machine..despite having a valid ticket.
A CODE OF PRACTICE WITH A GOVERNMENT BACKED CODE IS URGENTLY NEEDED NATIONALLY,
TO REGULATE THE PRACTICE AND SIGNAGE OF THE PRIVATE CAR PARKING COMPANIES FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC.

I was surprised to read that
One Parking Solution allegedly was stripped of its contract on the coast road in Peacehaven, East Sussex by Greggs shop and other shops because of all the complaints in July 2019

We need a fairer system with clear signage and comparible fines in line with local councils.

Another company Forecourt Eye operating on the forecourt of Tesco .Brighton./Hove gave a customer a large fine when the cashier at Tesco accidentiaĺy failed to ring in the petrol £11 with the groceries. The manager was supportive ,but was unable to reason with the private car parking company..Forecourt Eye . It has a 20 minute waiting area on the forecourt. There is inadequate and unclear signage again, without the name of their company. People getting petrol and groceries, if delayed by the queue to pay, get a large fine as the 20minutes is not sufficient for people shopping at Tesco and getting petrol. This company threatened that they would put the car reg on a UK data Base for the unpaid fuel incident , this would make it impossible to draw fuel in the UK until their fine is paid. This unfair and unreasonable threat to the motorist was made due to the error of the cashier not ringing in the small amount of petrol .Motorists should always get a receipt for petrol to avoid this situation.
I respect that profit is important to these companies, but compromise is required so it is fail for all.

Worst parking firm I've ever dealt with

Parked and paid but failed to put in my registration number. Received penalty fine, contested this using their online form. Didn't hear anything back from them until they passed it onto a debt collector.
Now I guess I'm going to court.

SCAMMERS! This is my second review

This is my second review! This company is absolutely scrupulous and the worst kind of scammers that exist including ZZPS as the companies are linked. I paid for my parking session yet still received a notice in the post from "debt collectors". They don't send out PCN's as you cannot appeal without the PCN and then they state you ignored the notice and have lost any form of appeal. I have been in dispute with them for months now and have contacted them numerous times even agreeing to pay and admin fee of £30 just to avoid any further issues for both parties which has been rejected each time. This even after they have received proof my payment for the parking session they said had not been paid. I have contacted my local MP and have reported them to trading standards as they are acting illegally without any consequence with the everyday person suffering due to their actions. DO NOT USE THEIR PARKING FACILITIES!!

This is the second review for this…

This is the second review for this shocking robbing company, my story is I parked in Brighton City Airport Shoreham by sea to go into the restaurant I went to the parking machine and you have to put your registration number in the machine , I’ve done this roughly every two wks for years but this particular day I only got as far as putting the first letter in and it took me straight to the payment, I paid the £3 for three hours I did think it strange but put it down to maybe it’s a new system whereas you just put the first letter in.
Then two days ago I received a parking notice for £100, saying I hadn’t paid for parking!, I’ve appealed it sending all the relevant paperwork inc my payment details but just heard they’ve turned my appeal down!, I’m absolutely furious they’ve said I can just pay £20 at the reduced rate but why should I I’ve already paid £3, this company is shocking and shouldn’t be trading as others have said not one person has been successful with their appeal!, this is daylight robbery I am going to contact the nationals and the rip off Britain program, in this economy as it is people can’t afford to just throw they’re money away, stay away from parking anywhere that this company operates!!!

Criminals. Thieves. Disgraceful company

Should be zero star option. This company are unethical, modern day thieves with zero standards or morals. Yes you can appeal a charge, but guess what, the appeal is never considered and full charges apply! It is criminal this type of operation, but in the uk it is freely allowed this criminal activity !

I pulled over to make a phone call on…

I pulled over to make a phone call on to a driveway of a building site entrance witch was closed on an industrial area at crossways Boulevard Dartford at the side of Costa Coffee I was meant to be meeting with my carer she couldn’t make it so had no choice but to drive back home I’m registered disabled along with my disability scooter in the back of my adapted car , a parking ticket was issued for the short time it took to make a call I appealed as I never even got out of my car , they rejected it and said I can appeal to someone else now but the £60 fine would be removed and the £100 would now be in place if I was unsuccessful, I’ve only paid the £60 now because I have terminal cancer and really could do without the stress these people are just conning scum I can now see why the country is like it is with scum like these in it god help the younger generation. I have noticed other people have had a ticked in the area that I was in and all the negative feedback on trust pilot not one have had any replies from them that just shows you what absolute scum these people are !!!

THEFT AND FRAUD!!!!

Parked outside my local Coop to visit the Post Office, I clearly had a disabled badge displayed but received a parking charge notice stating I had parked without displaying the badge. The camera used to take the stills photos is too far away to show the badge on my dashboard, however if you zoom into the image you can see the blue edge of the badge and clock. The camera used to take images of the rear of the vehicle is much closer, therefore had I not reversed into the parking space the badge would show on their images!! My appeal stated that the badge was displayed and I sent images of the valid badge. Despite this, the appeal was of course rejected, however they offered to lower the charge to £20 which I have paid as I can't risk this being 5 times higher if POPLA disagree with my appeal. Absolutely APPALLING company who clearly get away with THEFT AND FRAUD!! I abided by the T&C's on the parking notice, however due to THEIR front camera being too far away from my vehicle to evidence I did display a valid badge I GET A PARKING CHARGE!!!! Reading the reviews on the company I don't know how they are still allowed to trade given the similar stories of constantly declining appeals and the bullying tactics used (i.e. not being able to speak to anyone about a charge) and stating that you can appeal but if you lose the charge will be five times the price we are offering you........despite complying with the T&C's. ABSOLUTE COWBOY COMPANY WHO SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY FOR THEFT AND FRAUD!!!! I WILL BE COMPLAINING TO MY LOCAL COUNCIL.

Terrible experience with One Parking Solution

I had a terrible experience with One Parking Solution. Despite paying for my parking and following all instructions, I was issued an unjust parking charge notice (PCN).

I parked at Vantage Point, Brighton, and paid £4 for a two-hour stay at 09:22. I left at 10:01, well within the paid timeframe, and have proof of payment on my bank statement. I even placed the ticket on my windshield as instructed.

Despite all this, I received a PCN claiming "No payment/ticket" without any evidence that my ticket was not displayed correctly. When I reached out to resolve this, I found their response dismissive and unhelpful. This experience has been frustrating and a waste of time.

I would caution others about using this company, as they seem to issue parking charges unfairly, even when customers follow the rules.

Avoid Carters Brighton/One Parking Solution

Shameful company and shame on business's that employ their service. Pulled over briefly with engine still running, for 1m 55sec outside CARTERS DOMESTIC APPLIANCES then received £100.00 fine. Of course I appealed and of course it was immediately rejected. Beware of stopping anywhere even for a moment if controlled by OPS and avoid business's who use them.
