frustrating!!
If you are looking for efficient service and good customer service, forget it!! A week later than the promised delivery date I spent 2 days trying to ring to find our where item was. The response was ALWAYS 'there are more than 5 people waiting to talk to an adviser' and this is not a free phone call. I then sent 3 emails, nothing! In the end I contacted The Telegraph as I ordered through them and surprise, surprise things then started to happen and the item has now been delivered. Fortunately I am very happy with the item but don't think it was worth all the hassle.
Deer Coat Arrived Today.
I emailed the Telegraph on 9th August as I had no response from my emails and telephone calls to Oneregentplace.
I received a call from Oneregent place on 10th August apologising for the poor service and stating that a new dispatch company was now in place.
I was advised that my order would be in stock on 15th August and would be dispatched immediately thereafter.
My order arrived this pm [18th August] well packaged and I am delighted with the coat hook.
Hopefully they have now got their house in order.
Beautiful mirror arrived, late but with good personal communications
I wish to update my review for this company. My complaint of non delivery was dealt with courteously and I was given good reasons for the non delivery. The beautiful mirror arrived within days, very carefully wrapped. I would now recommend this company!
Dreadful experience
Just like all other reviews which I wish I had read before ordering in June a garden mirror. My money was taken at order early June. Mirror has never arrived. Six weeks after order I got an email to say dispatched. Nothing further, no mirror, no tracking info. Numerous emails to customer service unanswered. Tried phoning but placed in endless queue, never progress above 4 in queue, after half an hour hanging on on two occasions. Finally phoned the main store number which is usually not answered but yesterday spoke to a real person and cancelled my order, although still not got my money back. Empty promises stretching back months of them wanting to listen to feedback and improve. They are clearly not trying at all
Terrible company to deal with - DO NOT USE
I ordered a mirror on 24th June. After 2 weeks no delivery so called Customer care and they said they had just taken on the supplier and would find out what the order status was and ring me back. No call back...Rang again after a week, they apologised for delay and said they had just taken this supplier on and would get back to me with a status report on deliver.....no call back. The mirror arrives yesterday after 5 weeks...smashed to pieces. The packaging was totally inadequate to transport a mirror - one piece of cardboard wrapped around one sheet of "bubble-wrap" with all the bubbles popped!!! Having read other reviews here I am not surprised and will take this up with the relevant authority as they clearly cannot run a mail-order business.
One Regent Place cowboys
I ordered two garden mirrors in June 2016 which arrived on 1st July .One was broken,as it had been poorly packed, so I emailed ORP with pictures and was advised that they would aim to respond within 24hrs.This did not happen so I had to ring ORP on their orderline number and be put through to 'Customer Care' as the contact number was out of order.I was then told that someone,|A Manager' would ring within 48 working hours.Nothing happened,so I rang today(again through the orderline) and was told they had no record of my order or complaint until the records were downloaded.I was then cut off-no apology or timeframe. The company are a complete shambles and I don't know how The Telegraph can justify carrying their adverts.
No item received
I saw the ad in the daily telegraph and ordered a mirror.
The item never arrived so I called them.
Was told that they would contact the warehouse as the mirror should have arrived and then told that they would call me back.
Three day's later no callback. So I called again and got nowhere just cut off the telephone.
I am now going to the trading standards as reading all of these reviews it's time someone did something to bring this business to heal.
goods not recieved
I placed an order for 3 items 2 of which arrived not quite the quality I hoped for but never mind. Money for all items was taken at point of order, and although item is showing as in stock I have not recieved it, have spent last four weeks emailing and phoning but no one knows anything, no reply to emails and no calls back. This order is now two months old and I have had to resort to paypal to try and get a refund.
I would advise people to not deal with this company
Garden mirror
Very poor experience. Came in late but only by a few days if you accept their 2/3 weeks are working days only.
Dreadful packaging and no packing around the top and bottom of the wooden frame.
This was a large mirror so not that surprised that on opening the box that the frame was broken as was the mirror. Called the customer services and that was a positive nice guy called Abdul who sorted things out. I had email before but not a great service in terms of fast response.
Told I could reorder but as the gift was a present and over due decline also would be another 2/3 weeks. Told my refund will take 7 days? And I have the pleasure of getting rid of the crap. The quality was also very poor.
For all this trouble apart from a full refund I can have free postage if I want to order from them again, nothing more. Why repeat this negative experience.
I would not ever recomend or buy from them again.
Speedy
was very impressed with such a quick delivery. Product was exactly what I was looking for
Appalling service
My review is simply supporting all the other reviewers, as I have just had a similar experience.
As one person said, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering anything from Oneregentplace. I ordered and paid for a bed having seen an advert in the Daily Telegraph in mid-February. A confirming e-mail arrived stating that the supplier would get in touch to arrange a delivery day and that this could take up to two weeks. This didn't happen and over two months later, and after several e-mails from Oneregentplace stating that the supplier TMF Logistics were imminently about to contact me and of course never did, I ran out of patience and cancelled the order at the end of April and asked for a full refund. Today 11th May my bank has credited my a/c with the full amount paid.
On the plus side I must say that the e-mail communications with Mr. Abdul Mutalib of Customer Care have been prompt, polite and helpful which is why my rating is one star. Had that been otherwise my rating would have been no star at all.
It seems to me that this organisation is totally incompetent rather than crooked (although I did suspect that they might be) and as one other reviewer mentioned, "would I use them again?" Not on your nelly!

Don't trust this company, we made a terrible mistake buying from them.
Terrible. Goods arrived broken. Wouldn't take them back without the original packaging which was damaged beyond recognition. Had to repackage at own cost. Courier didn't show on second appointment, which I had taken as holiday from work. Won't reorganise a courier outside working hours. Won't refund the cost without getting the goods back. They simply refuse to try to help.

Rip off.
Similar experience to other reviewers - you place the order (trusting wrongly that the Daily Telegraph might deal with reputable firms) - they take the money and then...... nothing. No response to emails or calls for ages, then promises of delivery, then ....... nothing, then an admittance that there is an issue with the supplier then ......... nothing.
Just an awful rip off.

Dodgy or just incompetent?
Ordered "Mans best bench" a resin garden bench in shape of a dachshund on 3rd March, paying £119.99 (allegedly half retail price) plus £9.99 delivery, via PayPal. Delivered on 23rd March so badly packaged and damaged (it was in several pieces) it was rejected and immediately returned by the delivery man. Emailed them on 24 & 26 March requesting advice re replacement/refund, got no response. Emailed again on 29th March and got reply on 31st stating item out of stock and full refund authorised which would take 3-5 working days to process. On 31st I received partial refund of £9.99. On 8th April I emailed again asking when I would receive the remaining £119.99 and received a reply on 9th April stating the money had been refunded to me on 31st March, quoting a reference number (completely different to the one for the £9.99) and advising I contact my bank. Having double checked with PayPal I emailed again on 10th April pointing out all the above and received a reply on 11th April apologising and informing me the matter had been raised with their Accounts team and to please allow a few working days for them to resolve the matter. When I had not received the money by 16th April and now really at the end of my tether, I again emailed them giving them 48 hours to refund the money or I would instigate County Court action to recover it plus costs and interest. On 17th April they replied that now Head Office would look into this and would contact me "tomorrow". Needless to say I heard nothing from "Head Office", and my 48 hour deadline passed. However on 19th April the £119.99 was refunded to my PayPal account.
They had held my money for over 6 weeks in total and almost 4 weeks since I returned the goods using delaying tactics over and over
Would I buy from this company again?
Not on your life!
Like another reviewer I saw their advert in the Daily Telegraph to which I have subscribed for many years, this gave me some confidence in the company, I will be letting the Telegraph know of my displeasure.

Fern planter marketed at £79.99 rrp on sale for 21.99.
If I had paid the rrp price for this product I would be enraged at the quality. The item is supposed to be rustic iron but looks like plastic. A friend told me it is probably powder coated steel. It is very flimsy and light. It took a month to deliver. This item was recommended by the Telegraph newspaper who I shall also be complaining to.

What a bad experience
I placed an order on 26.1.16 and have heard nothing except they took my money when I placed the order. Emailed them and the response email points you to their web page entitled despatches. When you click on the link it tell you that you have accessed their old web page Grrrrrrr. Eventually I managed to speak with a bored sounding, unhelpful operator who said he could not find my order. I tried to cancel and like others was told this would take 3-5 working days. I spoke with a supervisor who was unhelpful and sounded like he was reading from a script. How can they take money from a customer instantly but fail to refund instantly. Do not shop with this company. I too wish I had read these reviews before I placed an order
Never again! Buyer beware!
I wish I had sent some of these reviews before placing an order with this joke of a company! I ordered in good faith through the Daily Telegraph. I ordered an item costing around £150 which arrived with no problems.
However on receiving my credit card statement, I noticed to my horror that One Regent Place had taken the payment from my account twice! I called them and was asked to send a screenshot of my statement showing the extra payment, which I immediately did. Since then any email query i have sent requesting updates, has been responded to with an automated response. I rang again today and was told by an overly cheerful customer care advisor (sic), that the good news was (his actual words), they have released my refund! It would however take 3 - 5 days to reach my account. Not a hint of an apology at any stage.
I strongly advise people to shop elsewhere - I wouldn't do business with this company again if my life depended on it!
Never felt as cheated
Bought an outside statuette ....took payment immediately....took over a month to deliver. Business midel seems to be get enough orders/payments then place their order with (presumably chinese) supplier.
Item turned out as far as we are concerned to be a piiece of cheap tat..not even size advertised...even poorly packaged.
Naturally no response from company...says it all about whether they can be trusted
Looks like things havn't improved since August reviews
I ordered an outside mirror for next year and they took the money twice from my card account. I noticed this quickly and emailed them pointing it out. They ignored this so I called and got their telephone service team. They said they didn't have authority to refund but I should send proof to their 'help' email address. I needed to provide proof they took the money twice!! Dosn't their accounting system show individual transactions!!! Anyway under protest I scanned my card statement and emailed this to them. One week later still no refund so another call and email. 10 days later the money is back but their promised notification didn't materialise. What an awful service experience. I'vw most track of my order with this going on so if it arrives at all I'll be well surprised.
