Irresponsible technicians who left before the setup completed
The technicians left before the setup completed. They didn’t make sure that the extender / booster works. At the end we found the download speed and upload speed are much lower the plan we would like to pay for. Without any accessible assistance we have no choice but seek to cancel the order.

Cannot fault the installation process
Cannot fault the installation process. I was kept informed in advance and the installer called me on the appointed day with his eta, turned up, did the job properly, neatly and cleanly, and politely answered my “old man” questions.
He was a lovely bloke, originally from Brazil, with a name something like Cusian, which I cannot recall. Sorry!

Not impressed
When engineer came in he asked me what he’s was here for! That didn’t make me feel confident.I would’ve expected the engineer to have a work list, so I would’ve expected them to know what they needed to do.
I had to take my dad to hospital and before I left him with my daughter who was over 18 I told the engineer where I wanted the router. The engineer didn’t seem very confident.
As I left I was apprehensive about what I’d come back to.
When I got home he’d only Placed cable clips in an awkward position. As I have a cover that goes over the plugs as a result I can’t put the cover over. And i’m still expecting him to come back this morning to rectify the issue.

I understand why you felt apprehensive about leaving, particularly as you needed to take your father to hospital and had already explained where you wanted the equipment positioned. I’m also sorry that the cable clips were fitted in a way that now prevents you from replacing the cover over the plugs. I hope the return visit goes ahead as expected and the positioning is corrected. If the engineer does not attend or the issue remains unresolved, please contact your service provider and ask them to raise the installation with Openreach so the workmanship can be reviewed and remedial work arranged. I had a 13:00-18:00 appointment with…
I had a 13:00-18:00 appointment with Openreach engineer who attended before 2pm. Since there was already an open reach box inside the flat the activation happened within a few minutes.
Reached almost the maximum of my connection speed over 700Mbps for my 900Mbps connection.
