Great service, but product descriptions need improvement
Overall, I had a good experience with Optica Bassol. The ordering process was smooth, the price was very competitive, and the delivery was fast. The sunglasses arrived well packaged and are genuine Serengeti products.
My only suggestion for improvement is the product descriptions on the website.
For example, the description of the Serengeti Navigator Large SS867004 was not completely accurate or detailed enough. The website listed the temple length as 145 mm, while the sunglasses I received are marked 150 mm. More importantly, the description did not clearly specify the exact lens type. It mentioned polarized mineral lenses, but it was not clear whether they were Drivers, 555nm, or another Serengeti lens. Since the lens technology is one of the main reasons people choose Serengeti, I believe this information should be clearly stated.
I also contacted customer support before ordering. Unfortunately, it appears that my question was answered by an AI assistant, which simply referred me back to the product page instead of providing the information I was looking for.
My suggestion would be to make the product descriptions more informative by listing all key specifications, such as:
exact Serengeti lens type (Drivers, 555nm, Onyx, etc.),
temple length,
lens material,
and the intended use (for example, optimized for driving).
Apart from that, I am satisfied with my purchase and would buy from Optica Bassol again.

I ordered online because they had a competitive price. They shipped quickly from Spain to USA. I only gave 4 stars because at this time I have received the glasses and my wife says that they have some kind of a strange iridescent glare in the corners so I’m in the process of going through the return process that they’ve set up on their site and I wanna see what’s going to happen going forward it’s fairly stringent, but I followed it and emailed them and copied AMEX so I’ll find out HOW SMOOTHLY AND EASILY IT IS FOR ME TO GET THESE RETURN TO THEM AND THEN I’LL SEND MORE DATA.

I waited for my order for over a month
I waited for my order for over a month. I contacted support and every email listed on the Bassol Optics page. Every email bounced back. There's no customer service at all. There's no one to ask about my order. The service is incredibly poor. I was starting to think it was a scam and I'd lost my money on my glasses. The glasses themselves are excellent, Barton Perreira, and excellent.

I had issues with delivery
I had issues with delivery, my package was supposed to be delivered at home. But after 4 days of waiting for the carrier (which didn’t show up), I had to ask for delivery at a pick up point, nearest 13km away from home. My package was clearly had a ruff time, the package outer packaging was damaged.
