Out of office means no one is in the office to provide assistance, even when they have you flying into a city-wide strike that was preplanned and airport closed. They ask for your travel insurance policy numbers, but becomes your job to file when fail on their 24/7 trip monitoring. I received a bar menu!

Bespoke, fabulous, and a joy to work with! Millicent did an excellent job curating the perfect luxury trip for us to Iceland. Every time we chatted I felt like we were in the best hands!

Working with Wolf O’Neil from Out Of Office was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first conversation, we felt completely understood — and what he ultimately created for us was the anniversary journey of a lifetime.

Our celebration began in Singapore, where modern elegance meets deep cultural heritage. We wandered through a serene Buddhist temple and explored the breathtaking National Orchid Garden, surrounded by extraordinary blooms that felt almost surreal. It was the most refined and meaningful introduction to our trip — peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly curated.

From there, we were whisked away to Thailand for ten days of pure indulgence. Our first retreat was SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort, where we stayed in an exquisite private pool villa in northern Phuket. The privacy, design, and atmosphere were absolute perfection — intimate, tranquil, and effortlessly luxurious. During our stay, we experienced the magic of visiting an ethical elephant sanctuary and sailed across crystal-clear waters to the iconic Maya Bay, famously featured in The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Seeing it in person was surreal — even more breathtaking than on screen.

Our journey continued at The Shore at Katathani, where we stayed in a stunning suite with a heated infinity private pool overlooking the Andaman Sea. Waking up to those endless views felt like living inside a dream. For adventure, we soared through the jungle on a zip-line and rode ATVs up to the majestic Big Buddha Phuket, taking in panoramic views that we will never forget.

Every transfer, every check-in, every experience unfolded seamlessly. We never once had to think about logistics — only about enjoying each other and celebrating this special milestone. That level of thoughtful precision is rare, and Wolf delivered it flawlessly.

This was not just a vacation. It was a beautifully choreographed celebration of love, luxury, and unforgettable moments. We are beyond grateful for the care, taste, and expertise that went into every detail.

Late last summer (2025) I reached out to outofoffice to prepare a trip that would celebrate our recent retirement. We were so fortunate to work with Maria who made the entire experience so outstanding. We went to Vietnam and Cambodia and found the destination most enjoyable. The extra touches including the fast track immigration services, the private tour guides, the five star accommodations, the food events were well selected and just amazing. Everything that you could possibly ask for was done.

Wolf O’Neill and Out of Office were fine making our reservations, but after our final payment, 2 months before the trip, Wolf disappeared. His email response was that he was owed vacation time, and was out of the office.
1 week before the trip we had 5 minutes phone call with him wishing us a good trip. We asked him to change the date of a tour, which he ignored.
5 days into the trip Wolf emailed asking how the trip was going. We told him we were very disappointed because the tour guide, who we spent 2 full days with spoke very little English, gave us no information and couldn’t understand any of our questions. In addition he didn’t take us to many places listed in our itinerary. Wolf said he was shocked and we’d discuss it after we returned. He never offered another tour with a real tour guide, even if abbreviated. In typical fashion we never heard back from Wolf or the agency.
Out of Office is not a boutique luxury travel agency. It is a well advertised, second rate, sign you up organization that disappears after your final payment. We strongly recommend you find an agency that will support you from beginning to end.

Maria was absolutely outstanding and supported me every step of the way throughout the entire process. Despite various glitches and personal challenges on my end, she remained patient, understanding, and fully committed to working with me to make this incredible trip to Fiji possible. I felt genuinely cared for from beginning to end. It was truly a pleasure working with Maria, and her sincere concern and dedication were evident throughout. This was our first Out of Office trip and it could not have been better arranged or more thoughtfully planned. Maria helped us with options and our experience with Panama in country arrangements was excellent. We will be traveling with Out of Office--and Maria--again this year!

OOO Tailor-Made Tour for three to Rio-Iguazu Falls-Sao Paolo-Buenos Aires met our goal of blending guided experiences with independent time. Samantha McCormack was willing to help make anything we wanted to do happen, while also comfortable and tolerant of blending with activities we planned. We managed major sights in Rio and Buenos Aires this way on our own relaxed timeline and had specially curated experiences from OOO. OOO's South American connections made this come together beautifully!

Tour excelled at making our desire to have authentic dance experiences in both Rio and Buenos Aires a reality! Not tango or samba shows, but highly skilled dance performers/escorts with carnival or regional dance competition winners who accompanied us to the Rio Scenarium and a milonga in Buenos Aires/San Telma following private instruction. Special applause for our RIO guide, Rachel Cerkes - she stood out for above expectation support.

Don't miss the luxury and unique after park hours access to Iguazu Falls made possible by a stay at Hotel Das Cataratas! And the small, private yacht sunset cruise in Guanabara Bay was a lovely experience. Special attention to our interest in public street murals was blended in well throughout the trip. All activities were private - just us.

We dined, drank and danced our way through Porto and Lisbon to ring in the New Year. Maria gave us excellent, personalized guidance and arranged several amazing experiences — including day tours to Sintra and wine country. It was an unforgettable trip — the second trip we’ve booked with Out of Office, and it didn’t disappoint!! Thanks Maria!

I was planning a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia and decided, after extensive online searching and reviews, to reach out to the team at Out of Office travel. Was connected with Millicent who has extensive experience in those countries and who ended up putting together a tremendous itinerary for us. Millicent was great to work with including excellent communication as well as feedback and adjustments to the itinerary to design the perfect trip.

We worked with Maria to plan our trip of a lifetime to Japan in November, and we had an unforgettable experience. Maria choreographed a perfect itinerary based on our interests and timeline. We especially loved the Ryokan in Takayama that she and her partners chose, and also the room in our night in a Buddhist monastery, which was a work of art and offered the best sleep we had on the trip. She also encouraged us to add in Naoshima art island, and that experience was transcendent! Our guides were wonderful, too. As a couple in our 70s, we particularly appreciated the ease of our travel during the whole trip. We love to walk, and were happy to explore places on foot, but to have the drudgery parts of travel disappear was fantastic. Maria went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Thank you, Maria. I submitted an inquiry just on a whim and received a call back from Out of Office maybe 30 min later. Normally I wouldn’t answer but I said what the heck, let’s see what these people are about. I am SO happy I picked up the phone. I started coordinating with Millicent about my dream GOT vacation and she came back to me with everything I wanted and more! I couldn’t be more thankful to her for making this process as smooth as possible. Looking forward to my trip in 2027!!

We've just booked our trip to Malaysia and Indonesia with the amazing Millicent! It has been a dream of mine to go and see the wildlife, especially pygmy elephants, there for many year. Millicent has been wonderful; kind and thoughtful, and extremely organised. We gave her a very short time scale to sort this all out and she's done a brilliant job. We booked our honeymoon via OOO 10 years ago and had an amazing time, so we are super excited for this trip. Thanks Millicent and OOO for all your help!
