Amazing

Booked our break the day before we went hadn't used park holidays before
Wow!! The park itself was amazing so clean, tidy & quiet
The caravan was lovely (gold) I liked how the caravans weren't rammed together like other places you also had enough space for chairs etc without being disturbed
I would say you need transport as site is pretty much away from everything but if you want peace & quiet after exploring all day then this place is for you
Staff very friendly & professional
The only thing I will say is make sure you have everything you need as there is no shop on site
5* from me would definitely recommend

Has its faults, good value for money but could do better.

We stayed at Coghurt Hall,a really good spot just off the A 21.The staff were helpful and attentive. The van was clean and cool. It was shaded by one of the lovely trees that cover the site.
However, the site is very full,it could do with losing some of the caravans. At the moment it looks a bit out of control.
The WiFi does not work, the last time we stayed we brought the WiFi it did not work. This time we topped up our data but it still didn't work. The TV had poor sound quality and no subtitles.
The swimming pool is odd and can't really cope. This area would make a great spar.
We chose the site because it's close to Hastings and the National Trust sites off of the A21.It has its faults and it could be so much better.

Had a great time

Booked a 4 night break to Pevensey Bay in a lodge. It was brilliant, very clean, modern and equipped with everything needed. The site was well laid out and looked after, and quiet at night. Reception was helpful, and the swimming pool wasn’t crowded due to a booking system. There is a very small shop selling basics.
We really enjoyed our break and would return

3 bed caravan nice & spacious

Stayed in a 3 bed caravan which was very nice. Clean & a good size . Plenty of essentials.
Unfortunately behind us on the Friday night a party with very loud music, singing etc went on until the early hours of morning couldn't close window as it was too hot!! Toddler kept waking up with noise.
Saturday night same area behind caravan was a so called comedian telling joke until gone midnight with the women very loudly laughing. Also teenagers outside the bedroom window loudly talking & drinking so once again toddler didn't sleep well!
The pool nice however you have to book time & only 45 mins. Staff were polite
Kids club very good! They did end up doing the show around the age group that was there! The entertainers were brilliant with the kids.

Really lovely site

Really lovely site, very peaceful generally, just the sounds of the birds and cows. Upgraded to a premium caravan, main bedroom had an ensuite with bath.
Well equipped caravan and comfortable, the carpet in the living room had a number of stains (reported to reception).
Having the decking was lovely, although bit too hot to sit out very much.
Shop is very small, didn’t really use it as a number of big supermarkets in Bude.

We had a lovely stay at Bowland Fells in Yorkshire. The caravan was a dog friendly one and clean. Swimming pool was excellent. Pub on site had exceptional food and very friendly especially Georgia on her first shift when we went in and Matt who was our waiter. We enjoyed the area.

Disappointing stay

Stowford Farm Meadows

Disappointing stay. It’s unfortunately gone down hill since Park Holidays have taken over.

-Dirty/mouldy sinks, showers, floors in toilet blocks. No tissue available.

-Absolutely filthy bar/restaurant area. ‘Dust me’ written in lamps. Broken pool tables. Generally disgusting. Not a place to eat, which is clear as it was empty. It use to be full all year round.

-Out of order parts on the crazy golf, but still charged at full price.

-Chip shop closed.

-Shop full of tatty toys rather than food items most guests would require.

When bringing these points up with management via email, they called me to say they are doing the site up over the next few year. So for now, I was told ‘You can’t put snow on snow and call it Snow White’.

The fact that they know the site isn’t currently up to scratch is even more disappointing, maybe guests should be made aware of this before they decide to book. Especially from a cleanliness perspective.

Chichester, Lakeside - AMAZING 🙂

We have been to Chichester, Lakeside for the last 4 years & always had a fabulous time. This year the Gold 3 Bedroom Dog Friendly was extremely clean. The 2 receptionists we have dealt with were extremely professional & their customer service was exemplary. The entertainment’s team - Liam, Emma, Grace & Ella are amazing they work so hard everyday to ensure everyone has a great time. Their singing every night has been outstanding & the choreography amazing.
We have had such a lovely time again this year we have booked again for next year.

We had a lovely time

We had a lovely time, my grandchildren enjoyed themselves, they loved to go swimming every day, staff were very friendly and helpful, Park was clean and well kept, WiFi went down but was dealt with quickly, we stayed in a Gold Plus Caravan ( now Platingham) it looked cleanish, I was looking for food waste bin it was hidden under kitchen sink pushed to the back where I found the bowls n dish rack, the food waste bin still had mouldy food in it I left it for cleaners to deal with, I left a polite note on bin.
Main bedroom ensuite toilet was stained brown at bottom of toilet I bleached it, it came off in no time, I noticed brown marks on toilet seat around the edge as I lifted lid up n small brown marks on the floor, there was a used tissue on the floor behind the sink too, going back to the kitchen I noticed the cups were stained, we didn't have a spatula for the frying pan lol, silly but it's just a simple thing that you need when frying plenty of large plastic spoons though, my grandson noticed a milky way chocolate bar between the counter and the sofa don't know how long that has been there, stains on sofa and stalls I cleaned the stalls it looked like bits of dried food, the oven didn't have an oven tray to use we used the grill tray but just a bit too small for a family, the gas hob was cleaned but very smeary, on packing to go home I stripped my bed for cleaners left it in a bundle on the bed, I noticed small stains on pillows looked like old blood stains same on mattress at foot of bed, I was very surprised to notice none of our pillows or mattress had protection covers on them surely this is a necessity as many people use these caravans.

First impressions Dirty nappy and dog ends outside caravan !

First impressions, given wrong directions at reception told right when it should of been left. Arrived at caravan a dirty nappy left near steps, dog ends, broken plastic toys and ice cream sticks at bottom of steps. The caravan was OK and every thing worked. Walked down to the Barn bar/restaurant and asked for a bitter/ale ,do not sell it!!! We would of probably eaten their every night, as it looked clean and nice.so we had to go off site to eat every night. which is where my wife and grand daughter got food poisoning , spoiling our holiday and missing our pre booked day at West Midland safari park. Queens Head Bromyard avoid. also on the journey home we realised we had left our fan behind for good measure. Journey home two family members ill. It looks a nice park, a bit more attention to detail and it might of been a nice holiday with our grand children.

We had a wonderful week at new beach in…

We had a wonderful week at new beach in Dymchurch kent. My little 2yr old grandson had a fab time with lots of play time in the park, swimming and the entertainment, the 10 adults had a great time to plenty of places to visit and great evening's in the club. We had a problem with ant's on the first night but 1 phone call at around 10pm and someone came straight round and sorted it no more ant's for the rest of the week.

The park was quite easy to find

The park was quite easy to find, we arrived early and we were lucky enough to find our caravan was ready. The caravan was very clean, comfortable and contained everything we expected. It was good that dogs had good access to most places. The entertainment was a bit patchy but I suppose it wasn’t the peak period. The reception was OK but the people on reception could have been a bit more friendly. Overall the holiday was very good and the only gripe I would have was the signage in the park was not very good and it was easy to get lost.

Lovely family time

From the moment we got there it felt safe for the Grandchildren. A lovely big entrance and well signed posted.
Our caravan was nice and spacious, club house was brilliant. Food a little over priced but what we did eat was nice. Loved that our van was close to everything, not much noise after dark but can imagine in the height of summer it could be very noisy.
