"Give money and get lost" is their slogan

Ordered Metal bookcase from them. After 2 weeks passed and it was not delivered I asked the customer support about the status of my order through the form on their website. I got a reply email that my case was assigned a ticket in their support system and it's being looked into. I never got a response to my request. I waited more and after another 9 days my order was finally delivered to me. It took them 23 days in total! After I received it and opened the package to check that all the parts are present, I found out that the plastic feet were missing. Wrote another request to their customer support about it, which was assigned a ticket in the support system, and again I never heard back from them. To sum it up, after you give them your money, you're on your own, and you are really lucky if you get what you payed for.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with מחסני חשמל.

We placed and paid for an order 10 days in advance, selected a specific delivery date, and reasonably assumed that once you pay for an item, it’s actually reserved for you. Apparently, that’s not how this company works.

One day before the scheduled delivery, we received a call saying the product was suddenly no longer in stock. Not when we ordered. Not days earlier. One day before delivery. This means they take your money, let you wait, and only then “check” whether the item actually exists. If it doesn’t, that’s your problem.

At no point were we told that paid items aren’t secured or held. No warning, no transparency, no proactive communication. Just a last-minute call that completely ruins plans, especially when the item was meant as a gift.

Customer service was just as bad. Instead of taking responsibility, they gave contradictory explanations, avoided clear answers, and made it sound like this is somehow normal. Canceling the order required approvals and additional waiting, even though they failed to deliver a product that never existed in stock.

If paying in advance doesn’t guarantee availability, that should be stated clearly. As it stands, this feels misleading and careless toward customers’ time and money.

Zero accountability, zero respect for customers, and a complete waste of time. I would strongly advise against ordering anything from them if timing matters at all.

Can't recommend

Ordered a washing machine that said next day delivery... that was 3 weeks ago. Have reached out to customer support I was told 4 separate times that they've reached out to their delivery service to expedite it, but still haven't heard back from anybody.

Disastrous experience !!

Disastrous experience.

I ordered a refrigerator more than 10 days ago.

On the website: “on its way to you”.

I tried to contact customer service via WhatsApp: always the same replies — “we're checking”, or “we’re transferring you to the right department”.

Of course, not any follow-up. NEVER

I also tried calling them several times. When the call doesn’t get cut off after more than an hour on hold, I get extremely rude representatives telling me: “we have your phone number, we’ll get back to you shortly”.

They are openly mocking us, and we have NO recourse!

Absolutely terrible service — avoid at all costs!!

Avoid

Avoid – zero customer support, unfulfilled paid express order

Review:
I ordered several products from Shekem Electric (through Machsaney Hashmal) on April 2nd, 2025, for a total of ₪3,397.
The main product – a Thrustmaster T248X racing wheel – was never delivered, despite being promised in 4 business days via express delivery.
The rest of the order was delivered, but the main item was not.

Since then:
– Phone calls are disconnected after a few seconds.
– WhatsApp messages go unanswered.
– The few times I reached a human, they claimed to be from a “message intake department” with no power to help and never followed up.
– I was left without the product, without a refund, and without any way to contact real support.

This is a deliberate pattern of evasive tactics, misleading advertising, and a serious violation of consumer protection law.
I have opened formal complaints with both the Israeli Consumer Protection Authority and the Israel Consumer Council.
If you value your time and money – stay away.
