Streaming with very good Wifi is an issue

Streaming with very good WiFi seems to be the biggest issue I have with this streaming service & the fact that I am an English speaking in America household I don’t need Spanish commercials! Streaming is horrible it lags hugely. None of my other streaming services are like this.

If I could give anything less than one…

If I could give anything less than one star I would. The app is completely useless. Even with a premium subscription there are still ads and after an ad plays it locks up and never goes back to the video. Totally worthless. How can they get away with this.

Way to many ads

Way to many ads. This is not a free streaming service but it feels like one when i have 90 seconds of ads every single time i fast forward while watching super cross. Very annoying.

So tired of watching HIV commercials…

So tired of watching HIV commercials over and over. Sitting here watching supercross races with my kids and get to hear about sex partners and HIV every 20 min. Ridiculous. Do better.
Also tired of hearing commercials in Spanish.

Double charged me and refuse to refund

3/5/2026
To: Apple card Goldman Sachs dispute department, Peacock Streaming Services
On 6/15/2025, I attempted to renew my annual Peacock subscription using my Apple
account. As I navigated though the Peacock payment portal selecting Apple as my payment
preference, I completed the transaction. Soon after completing this process, I noticed a
payment notification for $139.00 charge on my Apple credit card. This was not my intent. I
followed the prompts to renew my membership though Apple subscription services not my
Apple card.
I immediately went to my Peacock account to remedy the unintentional charge on my
Apple credit card by contacting Peacock through the process oLered though the chat
platform. I was informed via the chat with the Peacock representative to cancel the plan
and to renew the subscription using a preferred form of payment. I followed the
instructions I received via Peacock’s chat and canceled the same day. The representative
explained that the process may take a few days to complete I was instructed to wait until I
received the cancelation notification before renewing the subscription.
On 6/18/2025 I received a notification from Peacock informing me that the account had
been cancelled. Since my annual subscription did not expire until 7/14/2025 I was
instructed to wait until that date to renew my subscription. It was on that date that I
renewed my subscription using a Preferred payment method.
It wasn’t until the following month when I received my Apple card statement is when I
notice that the $139.00 charge from Peacock had not been credited back to my account.
This being the case I disputed the Apple card charge from peacock noting the cancellation
of the subscription.
It has been several months and calls and challenges that brings me to this point in time still
looking for this matter to be resolved by Apple card or Peacock. Please review the attached
documents to verify the subsequent transactions and statements that support this matter.
In closing, I would like to receive a refund for the charges submitted to Apple Card or a
resolution of the dispute for the removal of the charges of $139.99 of the canceled Peacock…

In my opinion you deserve a zero star.

In my opinion you deserve a zero star. This service has great shows but you can't update your payment because they won't except it and make up lies. We tried to update payment and you're service kept insisting that 11/28 date on a card is not acceptable when it's not expired. It's effin 2026. Ridiculous as well that peacock refuses to stop being in sync with roku when I've tried to cancel from Roku but the peacock app says I have to cancel through peacock app yet the app tells me to cancel through Roku. What greedy people. The only way is to cancel my card. Even though that they won't let me do the exact year that this has being going on I'm happy to know one day peacock will fail from lack of consumers who will not be willing to put up with this B's cuz I can get my fav shows elsewhere and be willing to pay more due to less inconvenience. Good luck

Slow with distorted audio and too many ads

My speed is 478mbps. Only using one device. Peacock still can't keep up. It's slow and jerky with distorted audio. Only happens on the Peacock app and nothing else. plus there are WAY too many commercials. More than watching OTA. Worthless.

Predatory Billing Ethics—A Pure Cash-Grab "Gotcha" Service

Peacock TV’s renewal practices are nothing short of predatory and deceptive. I subscribed specifically for the Olympics, and the moment the games ended, they hit me with an unannounced $19.99 renewal charge. They provide zero advanced warning and no courtesy reminder that your card is about to be hit. It is clearly a calculated "gotcha" tactic designed to trap customers into paying for services they no longer intend to use.
What makes it even more disgusting is their total lack of accountability. I contacted them within hours of the charge, and they refused to budge, hiding behind rigid "policies" to keep money they didn't earn. It is a nasty, low-integrity way to run a business. If a company has to rely on tricking people into renewals because their content isn't enough to keep them, they shouldn't be in business.
I am warning everyone: do not give this company your credit card information. They are more interested in stealing twenty dollars through fine-print traps than they are in basic customer service or transparency. Absolute bottom-tier ethics. Stay far away.

BTW. Look at their Trustpilot rating,

Absolutely trash

Absolutely trash! Ads when you pay a ton of money and I just went to download something for a road trip and guess what…they want more money for that. Never again will I subscribe. It is the worst streaming network there is.

Peacock is absolutely ridiculous

Peacock is absolutely ridiculous. Including ads on every single subscription. Calling something premium and putting 6 adds plus adds at the beginning? There is NO WAY I will pay for a second month of any of their subscriptions. Terrible service. Terrible company. If they don’t match their competition, they will have a rude awakening

I hit No Thanks for the annual option…

I hit No Thanks for the annual option costing 169.99 via my Amazon Prime phone app. I never subscribed to the annual Peacock subscription yet they subscribed me and immediately charged my account. Peacock wouldn’t refund me as I couldn’t find evidence that the charge was for Peacock. I received an email showing Peacock and the charge yet that email disappeared from my email account. Peacock refused to refund me. I had to call Amazon. Criminal activity. I was told it may have been a glitch or I hit the wrong button. I did not. I distinctly remember hitting No Thanks. Do not do business with Peacock.
