What is it with the words

What is it with the words? It's not CC or the hearing anything. On any new broadcast that isn't live there are these annoying words on my screen. Why? I didn't ask for it, don't want it, and you can't turn it off. I bet it's some AI CRAP. GET IT OFF MY SCREEN.

I know this isn't CC because I've turned it off. Plus, its on for like fifteen minutes. Annoying. I know it's not my TV because it only happens on Peacock broadcasts. This has to be some AI crap. At least allow me to turn it off.

I upgraded to avoid being deluged with ads. Ads every 11 minutes. There are just too many good platforms to stay with Peacock and tolerate this crap. I've read the other reviews and I see that I'm not alone. I've canceled them but will be watching for additional charges for nonexistent services as this seems to be an issue as well.

Disappointing sports coverage

Camera quality is lacking, especiallybthe court view! Close-ups are okay but long views are not high quality. John Fanta does not have the voice of an announcer, and we often watch games the next day and they screw us out of the early minutes! We are disappointed in their sports coverage overall.

Sadly

Sadly, there is no way to provide a Zero, which would be an accurate score. EXAMPLE: when watching Olympics Tues 17 FEB 2026, the Lady's Figure Skating was advertised by Peacocktv to run at 7PM CT. instead, they showed 17 minutes of Lady's Short Program, OVER one hour of curling. when you leave, you get a bunch of ads to log back on. TOTAL SCAM

Upgrade and closed captioning issues

Many of the shows I watched and enjoyed on peacock for example poker face now required me to upgrade to watch. With the subscription I've had for two years. I have had issues with closed captioning my husband is extremely hard of hearing. Technical support Pennsylvania many things to try none which have worked It is something they are working on their end for 2 years. But still we cut the streaming service because there were many shows I enjoyed. We will not be renewing

I don't usually write reviews but this…

I don't usually write reviews but this is the OLYMPICS. Not sure whose fault it is but this is the worst olympic coverage I've ever watched. Trying to watch both women's and men's hockey is a Chore. Sports casters leaving microphones on during intermission, very little play by play during many games, audio crackling (but the commercials are fine), I paid for no commercials but have many, seems like no high speed cameras as picture blurs when it swings across the ice. If these issues are caused by host country techs, customers could at least be warned. There are other difficulties as well but this is getting long enough. Bottom line.... I'm going to ask for a refund. Try to find another carrier.

Peacocks coverage of the Olympics is…absolutely horrible!

Peacocks coverage of the Olympics is horrible. The interface shows multiple events “live” but when you open them, besides being bombared with commercial after commercial you find a static page saying event will start soon! Well that’s not LIVE! So you back out try and other live event, you get subjected to more commercials and only to find the same atupid static image of event to start soon. How ma y times can someone be expected to open every single image that says live before you actually find something live! hORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

Peacock coverage of the Olympics is terrible…

Peacock coverage of the Olympics has been terrible. Every time time you open a program, there is a 15 second commercial. . I did not sign up for commercials. Then when you choose a sport that is supposed to be live, it's over or coming up. And the amount of pharmaceutical ads is unreal. nbc media and those who make the decisions are absolutely the worst. Obviously this is more about their bottom line than it is about the viewer. Typical

Olympics Coverage is Subpar

The Olympic programming on Peacock has been less than stellar. They constantly cut to commercial in the middle of a live event without warning. Many of the channels that show "live" actually show still screens with "event completed" or "this event will begin shortly" . We bought Peacock specifically for the Olympics but find ourselves watching either USA or NBC on YouTube tv because so we dont have to hunt for an actual live event on Peacock. We will be canceling Peacock once the Olymlics are over. Dont see the value in the monthly subscription fee.

Superb drugs ads...Best ever!!!

What I really want to do is watch drugs ads for medical conditions, that I don't have, instead of watching the once in four year experience of the winter Olympics. It really makes me feel valued as a customer every time you interrupt my viewing for these really relevant ads time after time. It really helps too, that the sound of the Olympics is disrupted when the ads are finished. Such a wonderful viewing experience...thanks so vety much!

I will cancel after the Olympics

I signed up to watch the Olympics. Specifically men's ice hockey. Because of the time difference I was usually at work or asleep when games were live and replays take way too long to post. Additionally, I caught the last few seconds of a game live and was able to go back to start the game over but then got kicked out back to the home screen which displayed "Replay available soon". WTF I was watching it. Why do I have to now wait hours until the replay is available? I will be canceling as soon as the gold medal game is over. Peacock also seems to have ads for everything even older shows like Psych. What is the point of paying for a service to watch commercials?

Bad Platform

The Peacock streaming service looks good, but it has narrow selections, I can’t find when a series was released, and if I watch a show to see its era, it stays on my “continue watching” forever because it doesn’t allow me to remove it. Bad platform.

Peacock is such a scam

Peacock is such a scam. I hate commercials and even though you pat premium plus, one still gets ads. This company must be owned by Marxists that deceive like Democrats.

I never authorized a Peacock…

I never authorized a Peacock subscription. Or a BET subscription OR a Paramount subscription. Every month it's a new SUBscription. I don't want to have to keep canceling things, that I never authorized in the first place. CUSTOMER SERVICE is not available -- I'm sick and tired of any thing PRIME right now.

I pay for ad-free premium

I pay for ad-free premium, but at the beginning of any show that I click on to they put a 15 second ad on. I find this very sneaky and dishonest. I realized that during games there are just naturally ads on. But I shouldn't have to watch an ad at the beginning of a show that I'm clicking on to if I pay for ad-free.

Peacock's coverage sucked sucked…

Peacock's coverage sucked sucked sucked! Why did we not see more of bi-athlete Campbell Wright? Why did we not see more of the US biathlon team? We barely saw any of them. And there was stupid ridiculous coverage of the zero-smart Jesse Diggins who apparently has no brain. If she was so in pain why was she jumping around after her bronze medal win? Just pretending. What a complete dork.

Absolutely ruined Peacock

Absolutely ruined Peacock. Use to be one of my favorite streaming sites as it was very affordable. My card expired so I had to update my stuff. I was paying $10.99 for everything with no commercials. Well that plan no longer exist. Still get everything for that price but now have commercials. Now they have a premium plus plan for $16.99. Like 10.99 isnt enough from 10s of 1000s customers they have. Everyone should cancel just use rabbit ears to watch NBC for free. Total bs
