While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Access 180 scam!

I have had two separate scam calls in the last week that are linked to Pivotel. Kate from Access 180 calling to get a survey on Health Insurance.
I have my iPhone set to screen my calls now on iOS 26, so I don't have to worry, but they left a voicemail. I then blocked and reported the numbers.
I believe there will be more calls to come in the near future. They're just a nuisance to everyone!

I was the same as above.

Definitely scammers
Went onto RSVP in the vane hope of meeting someone, but when they write back and ask you to move off RSVP to chat, red flag!
So I reverse checked numbers, and bingo PIVOTEL.
Think. Why would someone supposedly residing in the centre of Melbourne require a satellite number?
...and immediately remove their Profile from RSVP once they have asked you to meet them on WhatsApp. Hmmm?

Pivotel provide support to scammers

Pivotel provide entire blocks of numbers to spammers and scammers, this is why you are getting inundated with calls from mobile numbers. If you look up the numbers, odds are it is owned by Pivotel. They seem to be looking the other way to get the revenue.

Two Pivotel registered scam or robo…

Two Pivotel registered scam or robo phone calls from 2 consecutive mobile numbers today 0485993602 and 0485993603 of which when you ring back as private using the 1831 prefix neither of the numbers are connected. Even copilot confirms their numbers are being used in scams, bought in blocks and could have something to do with lost income from customers through actual satellite services they do not offer anymore, at least here in Australia. Otherwise pivotel satellite services used to work fine.

Sells numbers to scammers

This company is selling numbers to spam-callers and scammers. I used the govt's 'Numbering System' on many scam callers and a worrying amount of these traced back to 'PIVOTEL SATELLITE PTY LIMITED'.

Pivotel's lax standards are one of the reasons why you are getting blasted with spam/scam calls.
