Avoid

Unfortunately, 0 is not an option. Both of these lounges at Istanbul SAW are extremely busy! Get ready for it!

The lounge at LHR T5 is way too small…

The lounge at LHR T5 is way too small for the number of people they take in.
Tables are crammed in, it's not comfortable at all.
A poor selection of low-quality food items available for breakfast.
Inattentive staff not replenishing breakfast items as they ran out.
Hot breakfast items served luke warm.
Toilets that are way too small, and in an appalling state. Dirty and of course one wash basin posted out of order.
Definitely a place to avoid in terms of comfort, service, and quality.

Avoid Heathrow Terminal 2 lounge

Avoid Heathrow Terminal 2 lounge. The food is poor. On both occasions it has been white rice and some gloopy chicken sauce that made me unwell afterwards. I dont have many food intolerances but this is one lounge where I eat and get sick after. Im not sure they use the highest quality ingredients. The place is overcrowded, does not have a lounge feel, it is really an unpleasant experience.
The staff are quite rude. I was washing my hands to leave the bathroom and one of them rudely said "Maam we close at 9.30pm". It was 9.32pm and I was on my way out. I just couldn't believe how unnecessary the interaction was. I access this lounge with my loungepass but if you have to pay, dont waste your money. You are better off eating at a restaurant in the terminal.

I wish WestJet would get their own…

I wish WestJet would get their own lounge. This place is a joke. I have gluten intolerance and there is never anything to eat besides white rice and frozen vegetables. Even their soup has gluten. Couldn’t they have a price of chicken available. The staff are awful in Edmonton. They need an education on food intolerances.

Priority Pass almost never works

Some lounges better than others. London Heathrow lounges desperately need renovation.

Edinburgh lounge is fairly new and looks nice but getting access via Priority Pass is very difficult. Reservations and space quotas for airline business class users take priority. Do not be surprised if you are denied entry even if the place looks only half full.

Really lovely customer service

Really lovely customer service. Friendly bar staff despite the lounge being so busy due to issues at Gatwick causing delays. Very limited gluten free food and lots of contamination risk, but the chef happily heated me some bread rolls and chocolate brownie.

Never Been So Disappointed

This is Plaza Premium Lounge in Edmonton. The food was worst than inflation 😭 Hoping to enjoy four main course they served. Eggs, pancake and sausage and beans. I applied butter in the pancake it won't melt. The pancake was just so bad. Tried the eggs wherein the egg yolk were very very raw on top. So I picked the overcooked easy over. Tried their fruit cocktail from can. There was some foul taste. Tasted like it got recycled from left over. There was the yogurt with raspberry. The raspberries were faded ..almost pale. The person in charge that day didn't seem to know how to welcome guests. What's wrong? What's going on? I could go on and on but maybe will eat fastfoods instead. Not worth it for credit card benefit.

Don’t bother pre-booking, focus will be on profit, not fair and appropriate customer service.

We booked a lounge through Holiday Extras at T5, Heathrow, and due to BA cancelling our flight, after check in had begun, we were re-routed via Amsterdam - to Canada.
On return from our trip, we visited the lounge in T5, to enquire if we could use the lounge on our return, as we hadn’t used it on the outward journey.
The lounge was packed, with a line of customers seeking to get in, yet still taking ad-hoc walk ins. A hand written note said “the coffee machine is not working, sorry for inconvenience’ and as customers exiting said there were “no seats” in the lounge.
The attendant, did not entertain our request, and said we booked through a 3rd party and told to go and see them.
We said the lounge was a treat for our 40th wedding anniversary, and my wife doesn’t drink, so we would have had little impact on the daily supply situation.
Totally uncompromising situation, which I will never use again.
No customer oriented attitude or care.
We now know we would have got better value by having a 2 hour meal at Gordon Ramseys restaurant.
Will never book another lounge through Holiday Extras, or book direct with Plaza Premium, as they too couldn’t be bothered to provide any support, compensation or fair solution.

Over priced

Over priced. Limited drinks, the only beer is lager and pink gin is classed as premium. This will cost you an extra £5! Food is limited and not to everyone’s taste. This company could learn a lot from Aspire Lounges. When flying out of Gatwick North again I will not be using this lounge

Filthy and disgusting

Takes forever to find an empty seat, they overcrowd it and they keep letting people in without any safety regulations. Dirty inside and very noisy. Staying any where in the airport is much better. Totally a disaster and not worth a penny!!! SAW lounge 🤮🤮

Bought 2 entry pass

Bought 2 entry pass, followed the booking instructions for Brisbane International, all good until you go to apply the voucher. Then it won't accept the pre paid voucher code. I have email proof of the code. I am wondering if this site is a scam? It is extremely difficult to book online despite following complex processes, exactly. Am really disappointed. Will see if my request for help gets answered. I hope so.

Terrible Customer Service

I booked today and made an error on the date. The website says "free cancellation up to 24 hours before booking", so I called to sort out.

Regardless of which number you call, you get put through to a chinese call centre, with a terrible connection. I was told I couldn't cancel (despite what the website says) all I could do was pay $10 per person to amend the booking. I tried to reason with the lady, but waas told that I could 'take it or leave it'

I just wish I'd read these reviews before booking!

Tired and shabby

Looks tired and shabby, with a very small selection of unappealing refreshments and food. Fortunately we got free passes I would have been sad if I had paid. I think you would get a better experience in any of the outlets in the main terminal.

Poor quality & unpleasant

Very disappointed with the quality of this lounge. Only 2 meal options, both unhealthy. The lounge was at maximum capacity and almost all of the seats are worn or ripped! The quality of the lounge is shockingly bad for £45, especially when compared to the BA lounges. It was not a pleasant experience at all.

Like most things at Heathrow

Like most things at Heathrow, the plaza premium at terminal 5 is a total ripoff. It’s expensive with very limited seating and an awful selection of complimentary drinks. The food is also nigh on disgusting. Save yourselves a fortune and don’t bother!!!!

Highly NOT recommened

Frankly, I dont think you are worth to pay for this lounge. Reasons are three:
1. Not good variety of foods for choosing;
2. Shower service is needed to pay extra;
3. No smiles for staff

Highly not recommened

This place is the biggest joke on…

This place is the biggest joke on earth. Take the time to label everything that has gluten and then only offer Greek salad to those who are celiac or gluten intolerant. Get an education. Chips and breads but no fruit. Don’t even bother to go. Shame on you.

The use of the word premium is a joke

The use of the word premium is a joke! They ran out of the only premium draft beer - Poretti and decided that bottles of carlsberg were a fair substitute - Javier the duty manager rightly refused to described carlsberg as a premium beer but wouldn’t offer anything else from the fridge as a substitute and blamed his director. The chicken curry would have been amazing except everyone had sifted the chicken out - nice soup. Save your money and go to the Tahoe and pay for good food and great beer - cheaper overall!
