Unsatisfactory experience – Definitely not worth the money I visited the Plaza Premium Lounge while waiting for my flight at Gatwick airport, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience.... See more

On arrival to the lounge, we were greeting by staff and taken to our table. That is about as good as it gets. The lounge was far too crowded, queues for sub-par food and only one coffee m... See more

Really lovely customer service. Friendly bar staff despite the lounge being so busy due to issues at Gatwick causing delays. Very limited gluten free food and lots of contamination risk, but the chef... See more

Too small, zero privacy and bad food imo
On entry the house was full but a section of free seats sectioned off. I asked could I sit there and was told no in a strong Indian accent. She found a single seat amongst a group of ppl travelling together and said there is a seat. They didn't want me to sit there, and I didn't want to sit there. And so began an uncomfortable experience for all. If I wanted a different seat she said stand and wait roots up to you. I didn't have much time so I sat.
The 1 place where food is available is absurdly cramped and people tripping over each other. The hot drinks are in a place that makes no sense. They should be where the cutlery are and vice versa. Also plates should be there too.
The whole setup is wrong and needs a rethink.
Food - basic, to say the least, very poor quality and some of it feels like it has been sitting out for days. I think I cracked a tooth on a croissant - seriously.
Honestly this place is a disgrace and I don't understand how @priortitypass and @americanexpress associate with it.
If you are going to pay. Try somewhere else. Anywhere else. Mc Donald's is better believe me.
Plaza premium lounge is awful at Heathrow T5
This is the second time I have visited this lounge. Admittedly I have a ‘free’ pass via the Barclays Travel Plus pack (which I pay £18pm for). Anyways, this is the most grotty and overcrowded lounge I have ever come across in the uk. The fake leather covered furniture is crumbling. They put ‘reserved’ on some of the seats for some reason. On the plus side you can get a drink and something to eat at least. But it’s not worth paying for here at Heathrow T5.
Great place for layover
I would like to commend on Your Manager Josephine for being so helpful and understanding when i went to the lounge last 18th of September. I was having a trouble to access the lounge using my membership number that time. Hence, she found a way for me to enter the lounge smoothly. I had a relaxing stay before i left hongkong going to Taiwan. She and her entire team from the check in counter to the lounge service was fab! Everyone was very helpful and warm. How i wish all lounges take care of thier passengers with a heart. This isnthe first time i experience this treaemt in Hong kong. Its worth the visit!
I am currently sitting at the Plaza…
I am currently sitting at the Plaza 'Premium' Lounge Terminal 2. All of the poor reviews are 100% correct. The staff are incredibly rude - almost on purpose. They are unhelpful and are more interested in eating the food themselves than serving customers. The lady at reception could not speak nor apparently understand English (at an airport in the UK!). The food was tasteless and the seating area dirty - when i asked for some wipes to clean the table and seat (which was covered in food), the 'waiter' took 10 minutes and returned with a dirty cloth. Never again! £45 for 2 hours you'd be better off going into one of the restaurants at the terminal
Read the reviews do not bother...
we were travelling with Air Mauritius Business Class which provided free access to the Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow T4. The experience was awful.
It had a diabolically poor choice of food, staff were rude, inept, failed to do their job properly and some of the male staff were clearly trying to hit on the pretty females who were looking for available seats, which were also in very short supply. The layout meant very poor seating for couples. The Air France bit was clearly used by pretty girls who were non-Air France. It was just a horrid place.
Orange juice should have been called orange coloured water, food should have been called non-descript almost edible rubbish and staff & management should be ashamed. I will complain to Air Mauritius too. Of all the lounges I have ever used this is THE worst one.
Plaza premium lounge.com
Pre Booked Plaza premium lounge Terminal 5 Sat 9th Sept through Dragon pass for 2 hrs. Arrived to see a long snaking queue for “pay on the day” customers. Got to front of the queue as I had a pre booking between 10.30-12.30. This was confirmed by the receptionist who then told me the lounge was very busy! Having prebooked I wasn’t worried as they usually preallocate a table with your name on it! Only this time they hadn’t, so my wife and I had nowhere to sit! Went back to receptionist who again confirmed my booking but said they didn’t have our names as DragonPass doesn’t supply them so hadn’t reserved a table. Moral of the story, don’t go through Dragon pass but if you do ring ahead with your names to ensure you have a seat, alternatively book directly with Plaza premium lounge. £47 to eat standing up is very poor value for money
Very rude staff…
Overpriced and intentionally overcomplicated.
Totally useless and overpriced. Booked GRU lounge, my flight changed, tried to modify booking, got charged to modify the booking and new confirmation had old booking details on it. Cancelled. Absolute con artists. Not recommended.
