Ordered a dryer from these 11th feb. Waited the 14 working days for my delivery and nothing. Tried to ring them no answer. Emailed them 3 times still nothing back. The 4th email I asked for my money back. Still no reply. So out of curiosity I thought I wud google them to find all these SCAM reviews. Rang my bank this morn and within minutes I had a he money back and the fraud team are on to them now. I’ve also reported them to bbc ripped off. These people need stopping. DO NOT USE THEM

Ordered a washer dryer for my mother as she had a big cancer op, and wanted to make her life a little easier, thanx power direct, no machine or contact.. the net will close, you wont get away with this..robbing cu##s !!!!!

Terrible. Like others no response to emails and phone calls other than automated. After order confirmation, no contact whatsoever from them. Top tip for debit card users - check whether your bank applies the 'Chargeback' scheme. Mine does and after explaining the situation and supplying some details about what I had ordered and how I'd attempted to get in touch with the company, the money was back with me before I'd finished the call.

In addition to my previous posts on here if you have purchased through this company then please cancel your credit or debit card and have one reissued. I have had 3 transactions on my card over the past two days and an attempted 4th today which triggered a fraud alert. The most likely place I feel to have passed on my details is from this company.

I purchased a cooker from Powerdirect on 27th January 2021 and they took £400 off my credit card but I had no communication from them. I tried calling and emailing numerous times but no response. I sent an email cancelling my order and still nothing from them. I contacted citizens advice and I was advised to submit a S75 with credit card company and I am hoping I can get my £400 refunded. I have seen that their site has finally been suspended. I really wish I had read these reviews beforehand and hope this company can no longer rip people off.

Bought a induction hob from power direct on the 20th of February. As you can guess , nothing was delivered. Have emailed them numerous times but to no avail. Have to wait 30 days before I can claim my money back on my credit card. New website coming soon apparently, done a bit of research on the company and director, it makes for interesting reading. Like everyone else I would like to leave no stars but that’s not an option. Do yourself a favour and AVOID power direct at all costs.

They wont answer emails or telephone calls. Ordered Jan 24th, expecting delays because of covid, but once the website closed and saw whats happening had to try to reclaim the money from my credit card company today.

Avoid ordered a tumble dryer from them 1st February got an invoice stating delivery in 5/7 days heard absolutely nothing from them.

. Now in middle of charge back with my bank! Only ordered from them as couldn't get delivery to my postcode from Curry's or Argos because of covid.

Ordered. Paid nearly £550 and heard nothing and received nothing. Hiding behind COVID saying nobody can answer the phone and to send an email or go online. Website is now 'under refurbishment' and emails just get a standard response. I don't believe any of the 5 star ratings on here - clearly a scam. Claimed from my credit card company - they'll refund me and I hope prosecute the Directors of this company.

Ordered a tumble dryer on 26th January 2021. Emailed on 14th February as hadn't heard anything but had no reply. Emailed again on 11th March but still no reply. And I can't even speak with someone due to covid!

Absolutely Scam artist. Went for the cheap option. Took my money and disappeared. No goods no refund. No people answering the phone or email.

Pay the extra and go elsewhere.

I stupidly ordered a dryer from this company for the sake of saving 30.00!!! Biggest mistake I’ve made! Go to a reputable company!

Ordered cooker 31 Jan 2021. Had order confirmation and since then absolutely nothing. I'm not even sure if this company is still trading as the website no longer opens, they don't respond to emails and you can't ring them as apparently their call centres are closed due to Covid although other companies seem to be working from home. Need to get my money back so will have to go to my credit card company

Total SCAM you don’t get your goods and they don’t respond to any forms of communication! The credit card companies need to refuse them! Also they need to have the Police involved as this is FRAUD!

This is by far the worst company i have ever dealt with online. Placed my order and paid for it. Received my confirmation but never received my order or refund and now have to go through my bank to get it sorted. Please do not use this company it just isn't worth the hassle.

Ordered a dishwasher on 9th Feb and a washing machine on 20th Feb. The only comms I had was a confirmation of these two orders. Weeks passed, no goods, no response to my emails and call centre closed. Eventually had one email on 2nd March stating that someone will contact me within 48 hrs. Of course nothing. Raised chargebacks via my credit card company. Avoid like a plague!

PowerDirect.co.uk are clearly SCAMMERS.
Like many others I paid for an appliance for £500. Guess what - a month has passed and nothing has arrived.
I have tried many times to contact them by email and phone but I am unable to get any specific response from this company.
Luckily I will get my money refunded by Nat West.

And next time I will do some due diligence before I spend with an unknown company!
