In January 2021 I paid £300.00 for a dryer, waited 7 then 10 days ...an a few more !, so I tried to phone them on the two numbers on their site when nothing came and no one answered either numbers so I tried to contact them directly by logging into my account I had set up before paying for the item ,so via their website I and on it I sent requests as to my item and no reply only two and they are automated !, and phone calls and messages later and now the site is down an after stumbling across this site I am feeling gutted as it looks like others have been scammed as well as me.

Ordered a tumble dryer 24th January and received the order confirmation, payment was taken on the same day. Since then I have heard nothing from them except the automated emails they send out. Phone number is premium rate so don't bother calling unless you like big bills, if you do call you'll be met with an automated response which informs you all the staff are furloughed and working from home, god knows what they're doing because they certainly are not answering calls. Web site went down but now it looks like they are trying to make a come back with a new site. Don't think I'll be convinced to take a look at it. Scammed once, won't be scammed twice by the same conmen.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. As everyone else, I got duped by them. It all looked legit, ordered two large appliances, got a confirmation email. Waited a 7-10 days for deliver and then nothing. Emailed, tried to call, but nothing. Then a bit late, did my research and came across all the reviews - wish I saw them before hand. Sinking feeling that I had been part of a scam and my money was gone. Contacted bank, who were brilliant and understanding. I am now nervous before ordering. I hope they are caught and prosecuted.

Absolute joke of a company ordered washer and dryer beginning of feb no communication at all tried ringing and sending emails no reply at all next steps today contacted bank, police,action fraud and trading standards DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!! Don't even deserve 1 star

Do not order from this company. They take payment and you never receive the goods. SCAM company. Report to ripofbritain @bbc.co.uk and speak to your bank about getting the money back.

After many attempts to contact them about my very late order, I managed to get a reply from their only director, Chris Dyson. He tried to assure me that the appliances were coming but THEY STILL HAVEN'T ARRIVED.

I've reported this company to Police Fraud Division. Ordered & paid for a drawer fridge on January 31st..No fridge..no reply from numerous emails. Disgusting how they are still allowed to trade.

I bought a fridge freezer from these guys expecting it to be ready for delivery at the end of February but I have emailed and tried phoning them and I had had no response.... I did phone before ordering and spoke to a women which reassure me to go ahead with the purchase. 😠💩💩💩

Do not buy from these Scammers!! Ordered a Cooker 3 weeks ago. No contact from them sent 4 emails. Tried phoning but recorded message saying all staff working from home with no phone access and to send them an email!!! Website now taken down.

Well where do i start... I ordered a new tumble drier back in January after my old one packed up and after shopping around i found this comany (Powerdirect.co.uk) and the price of the appliance was in my budget, i thought brilliant and placed the order, how wrong was i to do so. when i logged into my account to check the order status it said processing so i left it and then checked 14 days later and it was still processing, i emailed their sales email address 3 times to find out what was happening and i got no reply apart from an automated email.

2 months has gone and not heard or seen anything after 30 days so i took up the issue with my bank who were brilliant through-out the process the bank are following it up and the money has been put back into my account.

To sum it up DONT waste your money and very poor service, i will not use again

I paid for a dishwasher back in early Feb and have no email confirmation or communication from the company which I thought was odd, and now I have seen this. Can anyone shed light on the action that they have taken or will take against this company?

Same as all the other reviews - i paid for a washing machine back in January, have heard nothing since. the website appears to be down now... finally. at least more people won't be getting ripped off.
i paid by debit card - gonna look into the Chargeback scheme
