PowerDirect is nothing but a scam company and I only wish I read Independent reviews about them prior to ordering. Lesson learned. They took payment from my bank account but when I tried calling to chase for progress no answer but message to email them instead because the pandemic!. When I emailed them numerous times I only get generic replies that does not help at all and I started worrying so decided to read reviews then I realised I fell for scam. Thanks for the protection one use Visa to purchase good!. I called my bank and they did refunded me in full. Powerdirect have a cheek to send me an invite to write a review about purchasing goods from them!. Nearly 6 weeks now and still the only email I got from them invite to write a review!!.

Absolute disgrace. Fraud on massive scale. No goods received, no communication. Trading standards should be taking action.

This company is beyond belief. Ordered a fire at beginning of Feb. No delivery, no reply to emails. Phone line claiming not in usr due to Covid. Whoever is doing this needs some serious jail time.

Despite numerous emails we haven't received any information about our order.

We have been unable to speak to anyone in regards to when our cooker will be delivered as they are not currently answering phones.

The generic email reply has been bounced back saying our query will be passed onto customer services but they haven't upheld this promise.

Our order was placed well over a month ago!

The money was taken but we have no cooker.

Not delivered after 5weeks not replying to emails and not answering the phone looks as if they have ceased trading.
Credit card company looking into it

This company is a complete FRAUD. DO NOT purchase anything from them. They took my money on 2nd Feb for a cooker hood, and I have neither had the goods nor the refund or any communication from them other than automated emails.
This company is using COVID as cover to defraud people of their money. Shame on them.
Why isn't someone calling them out over this and shutting them down?

same as all the other reviews! ordered a dryer back in January and they missed the delivery date and other than automated messages could not contact them at all. had to geta refund through my bank.

Item ordered has never been delivered and although I have tried to make contact on three occasions, we have never heard back.

Scammer! Beware! Paid but didn't ship my washing machine, sent them email but no reply, telephone ring but no answer, called police already!!

Ordered a tumble dryer, only received order confirmation, they took the money out of my accoint but i never got any delivery date or any order update despite emailing and phoning. Phone number says not in use due to covid.

I have to get the money back from my bank. Have now found many reviews with the same issues... Stay away!

Ordered over a month ago and have heard nothing from them. No response to numerous emails and they do not accept phone calls.
No idea when delivery will arrive.
Now going to start refund process and will have to order else where!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES.
I paid nearly £400 for a washer dryer in December and have recieved nothing 3 months later. You can't speak to anyone, you get vague automated emails, but definitely no goods. I cancelled my order, but no refund was forthcoming.
Fortunately, my bank are dealing with the refund. Interestingly, they had processed numerous claims against Powerdirect.co.uk, which begs the question as to why they are still trading.
I suspect that the positive reviews on here are fake.

If I could put lower than 1 star I would... they take order and payment and send a confirmation email and then you will never hear from them again despite how many attempts you make to contact them on email, Twitter and phone all will be ignored...

AVOID THIS BUSINESS.....

Item has not arrived. No way to talk to anyone as pandemic has made phones unavailable. Very angry. Now to get my money back!!!

Ordered a tv and advised delivery end of February. No further contact received abnormal TV recieved. Such a scam

Be very aware people they take your money and don't deliver they only reply with an automated email to tell you that someone will call you back 24 to 48 hours two months later and I'm still waiting for the call to happen two months laterI was lucky I had paid on credit card and was able to recover my payment. Think long and hard before using this company . I wouldn't say they're a scam but they are very very close.
