Placed an order and it took months to arrive after several emails, when it did arrive I questioned whether they had sent the correct part, they haven't bothered to contact us, will never use again

Good website, easy to use, really like the exploded diagrams so one knows exactly what to order and what will come. Delivered the next day for the normal delivery price, so excellent service. Invoice included in packet and by email. Item as selected, a part to a Bosch sander. So all perfect

Logical, easy to use webpage and found the spares for the 35+ year old B&D Workmate I have out here in Oz.
Only 8-10 days delivery time so very happy with the service.
All the spares fitted perfectly and I now have a workmate that doesn't have an old bungey cord holding the legs up for the first time in 30 years..!! :)

Take your money even when they don't have stock
The website implies items are in stock when they are not.
The only mention potential stock issues once you have ordered
When you try to cancel an order they dont respond to emails

You could wait, but expect it.
Add up all the makes and models of tools then x by the individual parts for each. Fancy stocking that lot? No nor me. It’s either stocked or not. Ok the website could be better and clearer concerning stock and delivery. I had a seven week wait! But I emailed around 10 days after ordering and was told when each part was due into the country.
Sure enough parts arrived.
Other than the wait everything else was fine. If you want a part instantly call or email them first to get an update on availability. They are a small family business and don’t have Amazon size warehouses. Parts are 100% genuine and well packaged for delivery.

Ordered a fuel hose from them. After a week no update so emailed them twice asking for despatch details no reply. Telephoned only be told they had to order it as it was not in stock. Its 2022 either email customer with this detail or link your stock to your website. Refunded and ordered elsewhere

I had previously ordered an item, shown as In Stock, which arrived in about 4 days. Not fast, but acceptable.

I then ordered a replacement part for a hedge trimmer on 8 June. This was shown as Expected Dispatch by 16 June. The money was taken immediately, but dispatch did not happen. I received no email or phone call by way of explanation.

After 2 weeks I telephoned and spoke to a woman who said she would look into it and contact me. I had an email from her the following day to say the part was not available anywhere in the UK, but stocks were expected by 27 June, with distribution and dispatch taking further time. The obvious question is why payment was taken immediately, when stock situation was so uncertain.

Early July, still with no updates, I emailed the woman at Powertool Spares who had sent me the previous email. My email was ignored. Two days later I sent a Contact Us message on their website. This was ignored. A few days later I sent another message. Again, no response.

On 18 July I telephoned them. There was only an answerphone recording, a woman saying "I'm not here. Leave a message". This was concerning. The business claims to be an established family business, with a number of employees.

Later that day I did make phone contact, and it was the same woman. Once again, she said she would look into it and contact me. She even confirmed my phone number. She has not contacted me.

Their website still shows the relevant part, but every day the expected dispatch date goes back one day, always showing one week ahead of current date. This is obviously false advertising.

Unfortunately, my experience of Powertoolspares appears similar to numerous other reviews. I could not recommend them.

Order parts of my Bosch PFS 5000 spray gun on the 24th of May. initially when i bought the shipping status had said it would be delivered within 48hrs. when i checked the following day the order status had changed to 'awaiting for stock'. why put something on your site which you do not stock.
It even gets better. 2 months down the line and it is still showing 'awaiting for stock'

£8.00 for 1 tiny screw when I needed 2 to fix part!
What a rip off.
My advice shop around as I got other screw locally for 40p.Most screws and bolts on website are available elsewhere for pennies. Called and complained. Not interested!!!!!!!

I ordered a pair of handle clamp levers for my Bosch lawnmower and arrived within 24hrs. Am very impressed with speed of ordering and delivery. Would order from this company again.
