The providers were responsive

The providers were responsive, knowledgeable, and spoke in terms a layperson easily understands. They make you feel comfortable regardless of what you have going on in your life.

Easy from start to finish

From start to finish prosper couldn’t have made this experience of getting an assessment any easier. Dr Van Sickle was very kind and warm during the entire set of interviews and the assessment appointment. I appreciated her patience and kindness during the process. I fully recommend prosper health for anyone looking for a caring personal experience in getting assessed for autism.

Harmful and Unacceptable

My daughter recently attempted to work with Prosper Health to get tested. She was scheduled to meet with a Dr.Kathryn Eklund for this assessment, but this “doctor” never showed up for the Zoom calls. This happened THREE times without any communication. Three times my daughter logged into the call, waited 40+ minutes and each time this doctor was a no-show. My daughter was beside herself, crying and very anxious after these missed appointments. Unacceptable. Originally, Bridget was told the doctor had an emergency appendectomy, but this is hard to believe because it happened two more times. My daughter attempted to message the doctor each time she didn't show, but got no response.

I’m not sure what kind of psychologist fails to keep appointments (with no communication) for people who don't do well with change, have increased anxiety and can easily spiral into depression. Deciding to get tested is not an easy decision, and it comes with a great deal of emotion. This doctor's lack of follow-through has made my daughter's already fragile mental state worse.

Looking now at the reviews, I see this is a pattern. I wish we would have done our research first.

Prosper did reach out to apologize for this experience, but I hope they will move beyond an apology by better vetting their psychologists and making some changes to their current roster.

Reply from Prosper Health

We’re truly sorry for the experience you and your daughter had with Prosper Health. Missing an appointment once is disappointing; having it happen repeatedly without clear communication is unacceptable, and we understand how upsetting and frustrating that must have been for both of you.

We especially recognize that taking the step to pursue an autism assessment can take a great deal of courage, and the experience you described is not the level of care, communication, or reliability we want anyone to receive from us.

Our team has reached out to apologize, and we also appreciate your feedback that an apology alone isn’t enough. We take concerns like this seriously and are continually working to improve our clinical operations, communication, and scheduling processes so that clients can feel supported throughout their assessment.

Because we want to protect your daughter’s privacy, we can’t discuss the specifics of her care or appointments publicly. We would, however, welcome the opportunity to continue addressing your concerns directly and work toward making this right.

Streamlined and affirming

Dr. Mustapha was fantastic--affirming, knowledgeable, and personable. She made the whole process feel easy and comfortable! Prosper itself made scheduling appointments and communicating with the doctor conveniently simple. I'd highly recommend their services!

Great Experience!

Scheduling an appointment was easy as was choosing a psychologist. The psychologist I saw was a good listener, compassionate, and understanding.

I had a very good and easy experience

I had a very good and easy experience. Dr Zeid who did my assessment was very knowledgeable and everything was very straightforward. Her personality was very warm, kind, and compassionate and she listened well. While I can’t speak for the other psychologists on there I myself had a great experience. All questions were answered promptly and there was no surprise bills. I appreciated it being all online.
