Not for the first time feeling ripped…
Not for the first time feeling ripped off.
Failed MOT for fault they found and offered to fix. Took to two independent mechanics who stated there was no issue. Took back for retest with no work to rectify the original issue they found and it passed.
It appears they either regularly make genuine mistakes or are trying to up sell repairs.
Avoid at all costs in my opinion.

MOT took 3 hours and other things
Car taken for pre MOT check then three days later taken for 8am MOT and service. I was called at 11:30am to say the car had failed on 2 things that should have been picked up on pre MOT check (wiper blades and headlight). I was then told it would be 3pm before it could be fixed - I needed the car for 2pm. Not too much to expect from an 8am MOT.
I asked for them yo do the essentials in order to get through MOT. When I came to pick up the car they had charged me £48 for 2 wiper blades when I only needed 1 and could have got this from Halfords for £10.
I requested that the manager call me the next day to discuss the above and more).
I never got a call.
