I’ve had a great experience with PureGym. I first started working out in 2023, and since then I’ve been regularly using the Newbury gym. I also sometimes train at the Hayes gym in London, so I have experience with both locations.

Overall, I’m very happy with PureGym. The gyms are clean, tidy, the equipment is excellent, and the facilities are very convenient. I especially enjoy being able to train at different locations, depending on where I am.

One small area that could be improved is the atmosphere and communication from some of the staff I’ve found the atmosphere a little more welcoming and positive, with staff being more friendly and approachable. Even a simple “Hi” or “Hello” can make a big difference and make members feel more welcome.

Apart from that, I have no complaints. I really enjoy training at PureGym and will continue coming again and again. Excellent facilities and a great overall experience. Highly recommended!

Great experience. Good service, equipment great and good people. All around a great gym for building yourself up and getting stronger whatever your goals may be. Definetly recommend.

The gym is great but I dislike organisations setting targets around clients completing reviews and asking for my personal details

Excellent!!! I’ve been a member for over 6 years and the management team of Ken and Andy have been such a great influence on the staff and the gym has gone from strength to strength. The equipment has been studiously maintained and all previous issues have been resolved quickly with great communication. Ken and Andy are the key to this gyms growth and success.

Fantastic gym and the staff are lovely, I wouldn’t want to go to a different gym I’m so comfortable at pure gym in Haverhill would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to feel comfortable and confident.

I love going gym, not just for the workouts itself but I feel better there, also its always clean and tidy compared to other gyms and the equipment they have are exceptional. Almost like people are supporting me without actually doing anything. Just going gym and seeing people work out and do their stuff even if its a struggle for them makes me more motivated and disciplined to become a better person. I feel as though this feeling I get is something I can't get anywhere else and I'd 100% recommend the gym to my friends and family.

Reliable equipment but the air con has been broken for months, it's super warm, sweaty and stinky. We pay so much in subscription that it's disgraceful it's not been fixed. For a multi million pound company you should be ashamed.

Very efficient in rectifying a membership issue, very responsive through the Messenger APP, email not so good not, but that might be they seen both not sure but overall very good 👍🏻

I never gave a 10 because some of the equipment is looking a bit worse for wear, also treadmill upstairs not calibrated properly

I was looking for a gym that has a private ladies-only space. I found exactly what I was looking for at PureGym—it’s amazing! I’m really happy to have found it.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience at PureGym Holloway Road over the last year. In my experience, the atmosphere has become increasingly unpleasant, with both the PTs and management contributing to this.
Both my cousin and I have also repeatedly found the changing rooms and toilets to be dirty and poorly maintained. We have raised these concerns, along with other complaints, directly with management, but it feels like everything you report simply goes unheard. Despite multiple complaints over the past year, there has been no meaningful improvement.
After giving the branch plenty of opportunities to address these issues, I’ve now decided to leave and use another gym instead. It’s frustrating to feel that member feedback isn’t being listened to or acted upon.
There are better options nearby, and based on our experience at this branch, I would not recommend it.

Nice, well-equipped gym with good lighting and music. The gym was clean, spacious and had a good variety of equipment. I also really liked the hydration machine and the selection of free drinks. The overall atmosphere was very good. One improvement would be to have more mirrors, especially around the workout areas.
