RA Fischer Co. is a family-owned medical device company with more than 75 years of history helping patients and caregivers access practical, non-invasive treatment solutions. Our focus is simple: provide trusted products, clear guidance, and real support for conditions that can deeply affect comfort, confidence, and quality of life. Our core products include The Fischer, an FDA-cleared iontophoresis device for treating hyperhidrosis, and The PureWick™ System, a non-invasive at-home solution for managing female urinary incontinence. The Fischer helps treat excessive sweating of the hands, feet, and underarms using tap water and a mild electrical current to temporarily reduce sweat production. Designed for at-home use, The Fischer features non-metal silicon-graphite electrodes, customizable Direct and Pulsed Current settings, an intuitive interface, and configurations for hands, feet, underarms, or all three. RA Fischer Co. also helps patients navigate insurance coverage for The Fischer. Coverage depends on the patient's provider and plan, but our team assists with prescription collection, documentation, benefit verification, and claims support to make the process easier. For urinary incontinence, RA Fischer Co. supports patients using the PureWick™ System, which uses a soft external wick and gentle suction to draw urine away from the body into a sealed canister. For eligible patients, Medicare Part B may cover monthly PureWick™ wick refills, and our team helps with eligibility verification, documentation, and refill coordination. From treatment education to insurance guidance and ongoing product support, RA Fischer Co. is committed to helping patients feel more comfortable, confident, and in control at home.

I have been battling palmar and plantar…
I have been battling palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis for as long as I can remember (now age 25). I tried Drysol, anticholingergics, Qbrexza, and Carpe lotion. They either dried out my hands too much to the point where they were cracking, caused too many adverse side effects that I didn't think were worth it, or just didn't control my sweating enough. I've even been hit with the, "You should practice mediating and stress relieving exercises which is probably why you're sweating so much." I understand the idea behind stress and anxiety causing excessive sweating, but you really know when its a problem when you're as relaxed as can be and randomly start sweating with no triggers. When I started to do my own online, amateur research on possible remedies, I came across RA Fischer's website and asked my dermatologist about iontophoresis. Surprisingly, they stated they had never heard of iontophoresis as a treatment method, and suggested the anticholinergics, botox injections, Qbrexza, etc. which they normally used as treatments. I tried those, and wasn't satisfied. So I reached out to RA Fischer online, and they were kind enough to answer all my questions in a timely manner, got in touch with my dermatologist, and checked if my insurance would cover the machine. After a couple months of paperwork to get a prescription for insurance to cover it, I received the machine. I'm only on my 6th session for my feet and am already noticing results. Something as simple as wearing sandals or a foot massage I would never even bother trying before because the sweat was embarrassing and demoralizing. Now, my boyfriend can massage my feet without a drop of sweat which is something really small to some, but an amazing achievement for me! I'd like to directly thank Jessica Batchelor for helping me get this product quickly so now I can pursue my career without being self-conscious about my condition. Thank you so much, Jessica, and thank you RA Fischer for helping people like me with hyperhidrosis :)

Iontophoresis Device
HI!
Before discovering RA Fischer, I've been struggling with hyperhidrosis ever since high school. Ever since I discovered I had hyperhidrosis, I became very socially shy. I was too embarrassed from the excessive sweating on my hands and underarms, specially when I had to shake people's hands. The situation got even worse when I'm playing basketball games and during job interviews. Over the years, my doctor did prescribed with medicine like Drysol and I've been tried natural remedies to ease my hyperhidrosis. But sadly, none of them worked. I recently just found about RA Fischer and their Iontophoresis device a couple of months ago. I was very skeptical at first, but I finally decided to get it and the results were fantastic. I've been using the MD-1 Iontophoresis Device for like 2 weeks straight and my hands were dry. Honestly, I was really shocked! I was very happy with the results and ever since, I've been feeling very confident in myself.
I just want to give a shout-out to one of the treatment specialist, Jessica, at RA Fischer Co. Thanks for the wonderful communication and feedback! :)

This iontophoresis unit has changed my…
This iontophoresis unit has changed my life! I wish I have known about it sooner. Throughout my life I always had a problem with excessive sweating. I remember leaving my papers wet after writing, not wanting to shake hands, and not being able to wear flip flops.
My iontophoresis arrived in the mail fairly quickly. The machine looked pretty intimidating but there were two sets of instructions. There was a instruction manual for the unit that was very detailed and informative and there was also a quick guide.
Setting up the unit is really simple! The first time I used the lowest setting and for 10 minutes. And I didn’t feel any discomfort what so ever. I instantly noticed a difference which carried on the next day. The second time I used it I noticed a little discomfort but no big deal. I continued to noticed I was having dry hands and feet! :) After a couple of more uses with less sweaty palms and feet, I began to have discomfort (static feeling) with my hands but again totally worth it. The discomfort only started happening after the fact my hands no longer had excessive sweating. I started using it 2-3 times a week for 3 weeks and now I only use it about once a month.
I struggled with hyperhidrosis my whole life and tried other methods that didn’t work. I highly suggest to give iontophoresis a try! I’m extremely thankful that my dermatologist mentioned this to me! :)

RA Fischer Co. was amazing to work with. Their customer service representative was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond contacting my doctor and my insurance company to ensure that I received my needed iontophoresis machine at no cost to me. I could not be more grateful. I have been trying to find a way to manage my sweating for nearly 20 years. I am so lucky to have finally found a way to combat my sweating and gain more confidence.

I have just received my MD-1 and am excited to get rid of my sweaty palms! The customer service has been great thus far and a special shout out to Dan for being so helpful and responsive to my questions. I will provide an update in a few weeks to comment further regarding the results of my "spa sessions".

I need some advice regarding treatment. I am not getting any results!
I have been using this device thrice a week since 08/19/2019 so its been 36 days already and I didn't see any improvement. I started with 5mA sessions for 20 min. I did this 4 times. Then 3 times I did 5mA for 10 min and 10mA for 10 min. Then 2 times 5mA for 5 min and 10mA for 15 min. Then 4 times 5mA for 3 min and 10mA 17 min and last two treatments have been 5mA for 3 min and 11mA for 17 min. I may be able to increase the current 1 or 2 mA more but at 11mA it does get somewhat uncomfortable but i think i may be able to do till 13 or 14 mA max. Could you suggest any changes that I might do to improve results? Should I increase frequency from thrice a week to more? Should I increase current? Should I increase total time from 20 min to more? What difference does higher current make?

MD-2
Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me in obtaining my device. She took the time to explain the process. There were some insurance hiccups and she took steps to work through those with my doctors office and provider. There was never any pressure to purchase a device. After finalizing everything, I received the device within a few days. The set up was easy. I’ve finished 4 sessions, so it’s too soon to say it works but I will post again when I see an improvement.

Great company, great product
I used the iontophoresis machine many years ago, but I had to stop it because of my pregnancies. I would like to use it again and chose Ra Fischer according to their customer reviews. I can definitely say that they deserve more than 5 stars! I just sent an initial email to the customer center to mention my interest in buying the product and then, they handle every step without any worries. I did not have a doctor report, so they helped me to get a report from my doctor, they contacted my insurance company and prepared claim, end finally sent the machine to my address. I worked with Sarah during this process. She was very nice and professional. She informed me every step of the process, answered all my questions professionally and she continues to communicate with me to be sure if everything works better even after I received my machine. From beginning to end, a hassle-free experience. Thank you Ra Fischer and Sarah!

Can't thank them enough
Tried everything for years and nothing worked. A new dermatologist reffered me to RA Fischer and I can't thank them enough. I've been using my machine for about a week now and I'm already seeing a HUGE difference. Jason is my treatment specialist and he answered all of my questions and gave me the info I need to get reimbursed from my insurance company. He offered to work with my insurance but because I wanted it right away I ended up paying out of pocket and now I'm trying to get it covered by insurance but the packet he gave me is great and lists all the steps. So happy thanks RA!!

I need some advice.
I have been using this machine since April of this year. i use it every 2 or 3 days. Although I have seen a slight improvement, my hands and feet are sweating almost the same as when I first began using it.I watched the you tube videos and I am doing everything correctly as far as set up and use. I have also added baking soda to the water. I want this machine to work so badly. I set it on 13.5 for 20 minutes at MD2. Anything above 13.5 and I experience itching at the waterline. So many people have experienced success with it and I want to also. Please tell my what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

The iontophoresis machine has been a great solution to my daughter's hyperhydrosis on her hands. It is quite effective. It isn't always the most fun activity (it is uncomfortable), but the results last pretty long, so she only has to use it about every other week, which isn't bad. We are grateful we found a non-medication solution.

I did not know I could reach out for help until I saw a YouTube video and the girl mentioned calling the provider of the machine to help. I called and the representative was very helpful. I’ll be starting anew and trying her suggestions!

Does not affect breastmilk supply!
I had to wait to use this machine because I was pregnant... however, after 4 treatments.. first one was at 5 for 30 min.. because it hurt.. and then the second time I slowly bumped it up from 5.5-11.. for 30 min .. and the 3rd and 4th times, I used it on 12.5 for 20 min... my hands have felt so much drier and my husband even commented on how they feel different. I have been doing every other day... Also note that this has not affected my milk supply for breastfeeding purposes. I look forward to continuing with this machine and even using it on my feet.

Wonderful Product
I've had this condition all of my life and nobody seemed willing to help until my dermatologist recommended RA Fischer to me. After the first week of treatment, I noticed a vast improvement of my condition and I can now go 5 - 6 weeks sweat free!! What a difference this product has made in my life. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone suffering from hyperhidrosis.
