Unpleasant Customer Service Experience – Talked Over Rather Than Helped
I contacted customer services at early enquiry stage seeking advice about coatings for a warehouse roller door and explained I was looking to understand broad options before investigating specification details. Unfortunately I found the interaction difficult and not particularly collaborative. I felt interrupted and talked over, and the conversation became highly technical very quickly without much attempt to understand the problem I was trying to solve. I appreciate technical information is important, but I came away feeling unsupported rather than advised. A more consultative approach would have been appreciated.

Small area resin bound DIY
Great service, product was spot on, my only quibble would be that the aggregate size is bigger than I expected- maybe read the product description more than I did!!!! Worked well and looks really good

Good delivery.
Paint was water based white concrete Coovar for the edge of steps leading to a public building. It coverd easily. The finish was very bright. So far, it is wearing well. Plenty in the tin for 2 more coats in the future.

Had a pricey tin of paint delivered…
Had a pricey tin of paint delivered from Rawlings. It was damaged in transport - tin arrived bent, lid off and half empty.
To be fair the courier must have really bashed it about, but the tin itself could have been packaged better.
Called Rawlings and they were very apologetic and 100% helpful. Next day I had a replacement tin. This time they went to town on the packaging. 👌

Troublesome base layers on Dutch Barge
So I'm painting a Dutch Barge over red oxides and other paints, and asked James @ Rawlins for advice. He recommended Junolac anti-corrosive paint. This is a beautiful paint, I loved putting it on, and after really simple prep of surfaces the finish is outstanding. The Barge really pops in sky blue and cream. Brilliant!
