When I phoned I got through to a human being, not a robot!! Very helpful and understanding of my problem. Faulty Hi-fi system replaced without any difficulty.

I've used Richer Sounds, multiple times they usually have in stock, the best of what's available at competative prices, if there is another source for the same item somewhere else at a lower price they will match or beat the price pointing out as is the case that most of their new items have a 6 year guarantee, although you'll be unlucky to need it because their quality is so high, unlike other businesses they seem to reward loyalty in their customers and staff who are exceptionally helpful, i would say Richer Sounds are my first choice for entertainment equipment. Tim was very helpful even telling me that the turntable i'd selected was one he had himself, and that if i wanted any advice with the set-up to call and ask for him at the Chester branch

I wanted a new sound system that my husband would be able to use, due to a disability it had to be simple to operate , easy to understand , and fit in a certain space. I explained what I wanted over the phone, and they advised what might suit us. They explained they did an “open box” price… items that had been used as demonstration.. and that was therefore cheaper than list price. They found one ( at another shop the other side of the country), and arranged for it to be delivered to their local shop so I could go and try it out- which I did.
Perfect for the job.
They told me about an extended warranty which was an extra £15 , but amazingly, if it wasn’t used, you get the £15 back! Never come across that before, and told me to make sure it was registered, and to keep the paperwork( which I did/have).
The remote developed a problem, and they sent out a new one without problems, it took a couple of weeks to arrive ( delay from manufacturer), that is why I gave 4* instead of 5
Customer service is 5*.

It was a pleasant shopping experience, I knew what I wanted when I walked to the shop. Staff member was very helpful, he found the item and brought it out to the car for us.
The item was also competitively priced.
We have dealt with Richer Sounds in the past and found them to be a very good company.

Ewan in the Chester branch was very helpful. He explained everything we needed to know about the television and sound bar I was purchasing. He took his time and made us feel very at ease and not rushed.

The service was excellent. Friendly, really helpful and an enjoyable experience. The staff (Ewan was the main member of staff I dealt with) were very helpful.
Price was very good. All in all, am a very happy customer and wouldn't buy anywhere else.

I only purchased gift vouchers for my son's birthday, (he is a Richer Sounds fan) Nice, helpful staff...good straightforward experience. I did like being able to have a personal message printed on the sales receipt.

Chester branch. I had done my research and had already spoken to Ewan and booked a listening demo for a Ruark R610. Everything was set up ready for my appointment and we were well hosted by Ewan, who was very knowledgeable and happily answered all our questions. Following the demo, I ordered the R610, CD transport & Sabre-R Speakers. All arrived next day with next day delivery to my home. My first purchase with Richer Sounds, and would definitely recommend. Excellent customer service.

6 year warranty, allways great to have, it gives you confidence in the item your buying, and in my case the ruark r3s, this is a great music system, good price and delivery when you want.
The staff were great when I first ordered on the phone just to check a few things and all sorted and ordered in about 10 mins.

First they sent me a voucher, most welcome. I decided to buy a Roberts Radio and the transaction over the phone went really smoothly. I knew I would be near the shop so opted to collect it, they phoned me to say the radio had arrived at the shop and I collected it later that afternoon. Shout out to Ewan for guiding me through the process and arranging collection. All the staff I met were really polite and knowledgeable. Customer service? Faultless. Price? Couldn't be beaten.

Needed to replace my old Bose loved the quality of sound discussed my needs and with advice I purchased a technics sc-c70mk2 was a little bit of work tuning it in with apps and such which is a little bit like using an abacus for me but with just a little help I’ve got the absolute best rich sound that I was looking for all in one piece of brilliant machinery well pleased.
