My first Richer Sound experience was fantastic. Knowing exactly what I wanted, I could skip the store and order by phone. A helpful staff member provided all the information I needed. Three days later, I received a phone call saying the hifi was ready for collection. The collection was smooth and friendly. A knowledgeable staff member answered all my questions about hifi, especially since I’m a beginner and would love to spend a whole day there.

Regarding the Denon M41, it wasn’t bad but honestly, if I could choose again, I’d go for separate hifi panels like an amplifier, CD player and so on.

The speakers, Dali Oberon 1, were excellent. I’m very happy with them and wouldn’t change them.

I highly recommend this store in Oxford.

It was great meeting Damian or Paddy . You were served by Damian written in email but the guy in the store was Paddy.

Thanks a lot, I hope to visit again soon. But for the Marantz PM6007 to fully utilise the Dali Oberon 1, I’ll need to get a separate amplifier.

Helpful experience

The staff were very curteous and accommodating. The purchase process was very simple and straight forward. It was the first time, I purchased from Richer Sounds (family members have always bought from RS) and I would be happy to purchase from them in all of my future electronic purchases. They have deals (including a guarantee) that can't be beaten. Highly Recommended!

Great staff and product

Called in late on a Tuesday and chatted with Damien who then the next day emailed me 3 alternative systems quotes based on good , better , best.
I decided that the better or best options were best suited to what I wanted and what I wanted to pay so made an appointment for the following week to come in for a demo.
This done I decided and the goods were ordered and I picked them up a couple of days later.
Various emails also answered very promptly.
Delighted with the system.
Damien was very personable , very efficient and good to chat with.
The whole experience was as good as I have experienced on any retail purchase if not better and felt in many ways traditional and old fashioned and all the better for this.
I had done my own research and the suggestions were closely matched.
Damien was happy to pre fit the banana plugs to the speaker cables for me which was also much appreciated.
To be honest for any future purchases or indeed upgrades I will go straight to RS.

I was waiting for an item to come back in stock, easy to complete over the phone, although I haven't picked it up yet, I'm sure it won't be a problem.

We were served by Ash who was fabulous. Took time to talk to us about what we were looking for. He was so knowledgeable and personable and we ended up buying a turntable that was less expensive than the one we initially planned to buy.

Richer Sounds has been my go to shop for TV and HiFi for some years now. The staff are always helpful and know their product. I wouldn’t go elsewhere.

Responded rapidly to my email. Item ordered and delivered to the shop next day, notified immediately. Ready to pick up next day when I arrived. Friendly and polite staff.
