I recently had an issue with an LG OLED77G4 bought from Richer Sounds, which was producing intrusive popping/thermal expansion noises during use.

LG themselves were, in my experience, completely unhelpful. Their position was essentially that the noise was "within spec" and "expected" from the TV, which was very disappointing on a premium set and left me feeling like I was getting nowhere.

I was very happy with Richer Sounds working with in challenging the manufacturer’s position. Once my case was properly reviewed, Richer Sounds listened, treated my concerns seriously, and ultimately took my side.

Ashley, who worked with me on this, was outstanding throughout: polite, responsive, helpful, and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. He also went the extra mile to liaise with the store team and help me choose between two similar replacement models.

The final outcome was a part-refund and exchange to an LG OLED77C5, which I’m very happy with. The new TV is excellent, in great condition, and importantly does not suffer from the issue I experienced before.

This was one of the best retail/customer service experiences I’ve had in recent years. Richer Sounds have absolutely won my custom for life and will now be my first port of call for TV and HiFi purchases.

I bought a soundbar with rear speakers whilst instore and it was a really pleasant experience. Noah was a very relaxed and helpful guy and after a brief chat helped me find the right product. It's now installed and sounds incredible.

The staff in the shop 100% helpful, and couldn't do enough.

I wrote an original review giving three stars, I am amending that as since I have a number of phone conversations with representatives of RS and they have been absolutely fantastic in resolving the the problems. Thank you to them all for getting things sorted. It's very much appreciated.

Tom was excellent knowledgeable and engaged with my needs and requirements. We then came up with the perfect solution for my needs. After much tweaking I’ve got my system set so it produces beautiful music and impactful movies. IM ONE EXTREMELY HAPPY CUSTOMER 😁 I would recommend Tom and Richersounds every day of the week.

Contacted store by phone spoke to Noah who gave us the information required so that we could digest the information and decide on whether or not to purchase a tv. Went to the shop the next day spoke to assistant manger who explained in depth the specifications of a Samsung smart tv 43", Returned the next day obtained a price match with John Lewis and also joined the VIP club which gave us further discount. Cant fault the service,and the stock available. Will use again

Excellent service and advice from the Prestwich branch. I was waiting for the arrival of the latest Technics SL1210-Mk7, I didn’t pre-order but called in on spec the day they were due in. Whilst I wasn’t expecting to see one at the shop on the Saturday they ordered me one from the main depot and it arrived Monday.

Nice down to earth guys who served us, nothing was to much to ask & our purchases were prompt...

As good as ever! Richer are the only company I can recommend without any hesitation whatsoever. The entire family have been customers for years and they’ve never once let us down.

I recently visited the Prestwich store and was helped by a guy called Ellis. He was incredibly helpful and immediately put me at ease after a stressful move had meant either I had a problem with my turntable or amp. Ellis helped me diagnose the problem was the amp and was trying his upmost to help me without me needing to spend anything. In the end it was best to get the amp replaced and Ellis stuck within my budget and got me a great deal on a new amp and am really happy with it. His colleague Dom was also really friendly and cheerful and helped Ellis with finding the right product for me, at no point did i ever feel pressured. I've always purchased from Richer Sounds and this experience proved to me why I always do. I'll be back soon for a CD player and maybe a cassette player

helpful store staff and deliver staff - nothing was too much trouble

Two assistants in Richer Sounds Prestwich didn't get names dealt with the younger of the two, nice to go into a store and speak with someone who knows their job. Pleasure to deal with. (The older one seemed a bit grumpy.

The people at Richer Sounds are helpful, and highly knowledgeable about audio-vision tech.
They have a very fair returns policy unlike other retailers, and the VIP Club is great with money off.
They even give you a brolly to keep if it's raining. Unfortunatley, it wasn't raining when I visited.

I like to say that richer sounds are brilliant . I was looking for a turntable in the clearance stock and two turntables stood out at me with my budget and I didn’t know which one to go for but the problem was one was near Manchester and the other was I Chester and I live in between them both . So I rang both shops up and asked questions about both turntables and Chester told me if it was his money then go for for the pro-ject turntable. And he was was right . Thank you to richer sounds.

Was after a system and called in. Noha was very good got me sorted with plenty of advice. Will definitely use again and recommend them. Thanks again guys excellent service.
