Great price for the filter jug and water cartridges. Was able to search local stores for stock which was sold out online. Click and collect process was smooth and well communicated. Polite and friendly staff had my order waiting when I went to collect it.

I bought a powder coated steel Vida XL garden dining set from Robert Dyas for my mother and it started rusting after a few months. I called them today as I could see it for myself (I don't live locally to where it was delivered) and I was told that because I am out of warranty by 4 days (it was 12 month warranty) there is nothing they can do. After being put on hold, Customer service gave me a number for Vida, who are constantly closed and they will only liaise with you on Chatbot. Really poor quality product and poor customer service. It is a case of buy cheap, buy thrice unfortunately.

I ordered a beard trimmer for my son on Wednesday as a gift with delivery expected on the Friday… it hasn’t arrived … there has been zero communication do i emailed to then have a response to say it will be delivered yesterday … it hasnt been delivered snd no update on the Roysl Mail tracking . I think next time it would be easier/ quicker to give him the money the go to a shop

Disappointing delivery service

I placed an order with Robert Dyas on a Tuesday, with delivery expected the following day. However, by Thursday I received an email advising that my order would be delayed.

I called on Friday for an update and was told that it would be delivered later that day, which it was. However, this was still two days later than the original promised delivery date.

My main frustration is that I had to contact Robert Dyas myself to find out what was happening. If an order is going to be delayed, customers should be proactively kept informed rather than having to chase for an update.

The order eventually arrived, but the delivery experience was disappointing and could have been handled much better.

Basically no staff went to pick up the item. The girl couldn't leave the till untill someone came to receive her. Eventually someone came so she went to get my item and didn't come back, so I then had to wait for another member of staff to turn up to get it. 20 min of my life I won't get back

Ordering from this company was easy with good delivery times ,it's a pity the delivery driver wouldn't actually deliver my item to my flat despite me being disabled

It was very simple - I was able to Pay with Samsung Pay and the goods arrived promptly even with a day's delay to the delivery due to an unscheduled work trip.
