You can't make games for free anymore, you can't play old innactive games anymore as they've been removed from the platform. The entire platform is full of pedophiles, condo games (sexual experiences) that roblox refuses to ban. Roblox is now just a greedy money hungry corporation destroying itself for its investors and never thought to ask how their playerbase feels.

Honestly, Roblox isn’t that bad. I know most people here disagree, but it’s usually just complaints about the chat or age checks.

Listen to me. Roblox didn’t want age checks. Roblox didn’t want chat to be restricted. It was either this or be banned from half of the world. I’ve been in the UAE for almost a year now with no chat, yes, it’s depressing. Yes, it’s terrible. But I’d much rather have ‘some’ Roblox instead of ‘no’ Roblox.

The only reason that is infuriating me and gave this a 4 instead of 5, is the removal of classic faces. What the hell? Big part of Roblox culture gone, replaced with scary moving eyes and monster mouths. I don’t care if the faces are animated, bro. Just make them look good. Why is every face stretched out like a neck?!

Terrible. Every update makes this platform worse. None of these decisions make any sense. The older Roblox gets, the more it seems to regress and become paranoid about everything.
I don't even care if you want to add age restrictions to some experiences. Go ahead. But why on earth would you restrict Draw Me? The experiences that actually need stricter restrictions are left alone, while a drawing game gets locked behind a high age requirement.
Now I have to stop playing for an entire year just to turn 16 and access a drawing game again. Maybe spend some time improving your decision-making instead of making pointless restrictions.
The platform keeps getting worse and worse. These updates are awful. At this point, just shut the game down if this is the direction you're taking. The development decisions feel completely out of touch with what players actually want.

I’ve played this game throughout my entire life and i started around 2015-16. This game used to be amazing, i would literally play Roblox for HOURS and make it my entire personality for years, i wanted to become a game developer and a trader. Now, this game has DISENGRATED extremely fast over these past months/years.

It started off by generally hated, but reasonable updates such as the removal of tix, forums, builders club, genre search, and guests. Back then, Roblox would actually put effort into substituting these removals with decent replacements, like builders club being rebranded into Roblox premium (now Roblox plus) But nowadays the company doesn’t seem to care at all, adding all of these horrible, useless, annoying and TERRIBLE updates that literally no one asked for, and everyone wants gone.

I’d say the beginning of the true downfall started around 2021, with the mistake of adding VC + age checks, then removing the “status” feature from player profiles, then wiping out literally ALL public audios, then replacing the oof sound, then the stupid Roblox inflation, the forced dynamic heads and removal of classic faces, the terrible, meta, “modern” soulless black and grey UI, the age grouping and chat locking, the way they push developers to use r15 on their games instead of r6, in order to get paid more, the removal of millions of unrated games that were made decades ago and cannot be played, how you can’t even publish t-shirts and shirts anymore without the premium subscription, the AI-chat “summaries” and how the game basically relies on AI now, and probably way more that i haven’t read into yet.

This game has become SLOP, a genuine modern, soulless, greedy, corporate, paywalled piece of SLOP that doesn’t care about its fanbase anymore. Hell, Roblox doesn’t even care about their own game-creators, they keep pushing brainrotted, low quality, money hungry, P2W, saturated headachy AI-driven games onto the algorithm that the majorly of slightly older players despise. There’s a ton of underrated gems, lying somewhere behind the walls of slop-brainrotted games that reaches a maximum player count of 200 people. I think this is SAD.

I’m 15, and it really doesn’t take me that much to realize how much of a downhill this game is going through. I’d say it’s about rock bottom now, but knowing how Roblox operates, i know how it can truly DETERIORATE even further, somewhere near the future. It is self-evident. Many, many other players on this platform has a somewhat similar hatred towards Roblox in the same way as i do. How miserable, giant waste of what could’ve been the best platform ever. This piece of shit corporation has really sold out.

Roblox is honestly not what it used to be.
The chat system is completely over-filtered to the point where it barely makes sense anymore. You can type something completely harmless like “monke” or normal sentences, and it gets censored or turned into hashtags for no reason. It literally feels like the game is rewriting what you say instead of just filtering bad stuff.
Half the time you’re trying to talk to friends and the message comes out like:
“#### ### #### ####”
So nobody even knows what you said anymore.
1000 Robux to publish a game, so Roblox pretty much woke up one day and said “What if we make it impossible for small creators to exist??? Great update! Time to add that to the ‘Great idea list’!”
And sometimes Roblox just has“AI moderation rewrite” will LITERATELY CHANGE THE GODDAM WORDS THAT COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH
And honestly my rating for chat now is 0.0000000000/10
Another big issue is moderation and restrictions. Features that used to be simple are now locked behind age verification, ID checks, or constant warnings. It feels like overkill for a platform that’s supposed to be a kids game / creative sandbox.
Roblox Studio also randomly flags normal words as “inappropriate,” even in harmless game names or UI text. You end up spending more time fighting the filter than actually building your game.

The platform also feels way more focused on monetization now. Almost everything pushes Robux purchases, and it’s harder to just enjoy simple games without constant prompts to buy something.

Overall, Roblox still has good ideas, but the execution is getting worse. Between the aggressive chat filter, confusing moderation, and constant restrictions, it doesn’t feel like a creative platform anymore — it feels controlled and overly sanitized.
Used to be fun, now it feels like the game is editing what you say in real time.

The platform was great in 2020-2025 but the 2026 updates ruined the platform. I know they were forced to add age verification, but its just bad. Like horrible updates. Everything is becoming AI.

I am the owner of Roblox account "nikitapodpori2". My account was hacked and my region was changed to VNG (Vietnam) without my permission. I live in Russia.

Roblox support helped me restore access to my account, but they did NOT change my email or my region. My account is still linked to my old email which I no longer have access to. They closed my support ticket without fully resolving the issue.

I have tried contacting support multiple times. No one is helping me.

I need Roblox to:
1. Change my account email to a new address that I provided to support
2. Change my region back to global Roblox / Russia

Please Roblox, help me fix this. I have been trying for weeks.

Game is just pure ass now, with all the "kids", "select", unverified accounts, deleting games by underage accounts, etc.
Joined in 2017, perfect game then. Now, just straight bullshit.

My son's account was hacked and Roblox refuses to help despite sending them multiple evidence to prove that is has. Thankfully he's still logged in, but he can't secure his account due to the well known scamming email in place that's taken over it. The email ends in @duhastmail.com that Gemini also confirms that it's a well known and well used high risk disposable or temporary email domain, that scammers/hackers/automated bots use to take over the account and yet Roblox still REFUSES to help recover the account to make it safe for him. What an absolute joke. No wonder this has very low rating on reviews

Very disappointing support experience.

Roblox stopped working on our PlayStation while all other online games continue to work perfectly. We contacted Roblox Support for help, but instead of investigating the issue, they simply told us to contact PlayStation Support.

We then contacted PlayStation Support, who confirmed that the problem was not on their side since other games and services were working normally. After going back and forth between both companies, we were left without a solution and with no clear explanation of what was causing the issue.

The most frustrating part was the lack of ownership and willingness to troubleshoot the problem. Customer support seemed more focused on redirecting us elsewhere than actually helping resolve the issue.

We expected much better support from a company of Roblox's size. Unfortunately, our experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unresolved.

I'd review it even less if I could, but I think 1 is the minimum. Roblox has recently been adding shittier and shittier updates, like age groups. And by removing the things that used to make Roblox Roblox, they're tarnishing the image they've built over all these years.
